So are they going to be bringing out a "hot ute" gt variant? Like how their counterpart, hyundai tried to make "hot suvs" a thing with the kona N and ioniq 5 N?😂
@tebibyte2357 I've seen the regular ioniq 5s and their still too suv like (it's bigger then the kona even), I'm not fooled by hatchback bs like everyone else. Although they aren't really ugly, like someone said to me it even has a "lovely shape to it" (this person has an nline i30 sedan and we often talk about N cars and velosters and the mods that people do to these spefic hyundai models and that silly kid who ran from cops in his i30 sedan/elantra N) Like I saw a video of this guy talking about the i5n and he compared a red one to a real hatch in his shop and he commented how huge it is, of course, it's an suv you silly. So it will be forever an suv and not a hatch it tries so hard to be. Hopefully N day in a couple of days from what I have seen of the trailers, no suv bs this time
@aussiefurbymogwaifan6621 well man, I hope you know that the i5N is much lower than its base model. That's why I said that. The Kona lowered is still egg shaped whereas the i5N is more hot hatch like. I drove it, and it swiftly compares to that of a golf R but much more aggressive since it's an EV. Since the battery is on the bottom of the vehicle, so the center of gravity is unparalleled and incomparable to the Kona N. The i5N may be larger but it has a larger USABLE hatch unlike any other hot hatch, and the seats recline back much farther in the back seat. It's one of those vehicles that you absolutely HAVE to drive to understand. I promise I didn't care about this car and thought it was just a normal boring EV until they offered me a demo.
@@aussiefurbymogwaifan6621 I think the new Kona N line is super ugly, and it's lifted as well. Hyundai now has the technology to make the N vehicles all wheel drive but they hoped we didn't notice. The new Kia Sorrento sx has the N vehicles 8 speed dct WITH all wheel drive. If they employed this in the Kona it would be a complete Beast.
So.... at least they did it. And at least its body on frame. Where Honda's body on frame pick Up? Why is ridgeline on the pilot platform? The Telluride and Tasman are different platforms.
Please bring this to the US market!
We need it!!
They’re only making it in South Korea so that’s a no for North America.
@@DeadAir21 :(
totally agree!
I thought they were. Now I'm annoyed.
Finally.
اخيراً finally 🎉
I wish Kia would produce Kia Tasman cartoons.
Is it reliable tho
Need that suv version too
I wonder if this is gonna be a success in the US
Akarom látni és vezetni ❤❤

The ioniq 5N is closer to a hot hatch than SUV like the Kona N you gotta see it in person

@@tebibyte2357 I actually don't have a license to drive anyway and you forgot about the i5n having awd which the kona n did not

I hope Kia doesn't reveal more pictures of the Tasman. It's better to reveal them on October 29.
I hope they play Fein

No please.. drag this out longer. Hopefully by 2027 we'll see a little more detail
It will be seen on the 29th of October..
Can't believe they are still" teasing " this ugly uninspiring thing .

You are only, what.....20 years late to the utes party.

Another fart in the wind for the ute market.
Why you say that?
Its all Marketing. Where is the actual car? Its been like two years. Not even a decent photo. What's taking them so long.
Maybe they are actually testing it and want to unveil when they are ready.
No room for back passengers, damn
