    Dustin is a good man. Good example for young folks. I usually tell my son not to put athletes, actors, politicians ect on a pedestal however there are men like Dustin to keep an eye on. Facing life like a man, fighting back tears but still facing it and knowing what he has in life.

    "Where I come from, Ive already won". This is absolutely true, Poirier really came from nothing, just an average everyday kid from south Louisiana that saw the early UFCs and wanted to do that. He made his dream come true. He really is just a normal dude, a normal dude that focused on a goal, made it happen, and is now world famous and a multi millionaire. Great interview.

    When you think about it, that first mental and physical arse whoopin Dustin took from Conor set him on a path of greatness. The guy is a true warrior poet. He’s become probably my all time favorite fighter. He has become comfortable in his own skin. That’s hard to do my friends

    Honestly felt he looked a small step behind all fight. Usually his defense is a bit sharper than it was tn. Justin was tagging him constantly & he wasn't checking those kicks again.

    That's all it takes. 1 punch, knee or kick to the dome and it's goodnight Vienna. You could be totally dominating a fight, be the better fighter but one good shot landed and all that means nothing. Respect to both fighters. We all want to see the trilogy at some point.

      Right! for those people who clearly see just how impressive this interview is and are impressed with how he carries himself that speaks volumes about yourself. If you're not thoroughly impressed with Dustin as a man then you're likely not on the right path as a man. Didn't get the outcome he wanted but the outcome meant very little in defining his success or failure overall. Dustin represents what every young athletes should aspired to reach.

    Watched this live in the bar everybody was in shock 💀 Never ever expected Dustin to go out like that and neither did anyone else honestly 2nd round is fast as hell Justin swung that f***in crane of a kick and smashed with pure force on Poriers neck, Im suprised he didnt break part of it. Dustin even had high guard and he looped his foot around it dead on.

    Man I hate to see either one of these guys lose. Justin seems to take losses a lot better than Dustin. I don't think it's because he doesn't care as much, but because he has that dog in him that knows, he will get that back. Dustin, on the other hand, seems to take them harder (they both deal with defeat like champs), and it seems he doesn't see the light at the end when he loses. Either way, these two men are what should be considered the definition of a true fighter. They will both be an example of the golden age of mma. Future generations will say, "They don't make them like Dustin and Justin anymore."

When he was coming up he had many vets take a chance fighting him... now hes the vet and says he doesn't want to fight the up and coming guys and only wants big names.     Dustin is one of the best to do it and hands down my favorite fighter . He will be back , he’s never lost back to back fights . This dude is an absolute legend and such a humble dude he is comfortable in his own skin and knows his worth . Nobody would have done a press conference after that.     I remember when I watched dustin fight conor the first time and I was like man he got destroyed, and then I watched him fight at 155 and just watching him grow his skill set and maturity in this sport is remarkable. Pure warrior spirit with great work ethic and a humble personality. Always a top g. Favorite fighter of all time.
