Pedigree do help getting into IITs. 95 percent who shine in JEE has a privilege of preparing for the exam since their schooling who, happen to be from privileged family backgrounds. The point is you need to be hungry but poor kids have no pedigree to eat to fulfill their hunger in the first place. Emotional, financial status, social insecurity etc while you are preparing for one of the toughest exam in the world... Really sucks. Yes, we have admit that great efforts are required to crack the exam, but the unaccounted externalities puts the poor kid out of league. No offence. I respect those kids for their calibre, efforts and what they have earned for themselves. But it isn't the same thing. That's the fundamental structure of our society where equality of opportunity is a Mirage.
Aviral Bhatnagar used to write good answers on Quora. But his LinkedIn posts are so contradictory. One day he'll post something how startups in India have revolutionized the game and now it's the end of traditional companies and the next day he'll have a post stating how these startups are in huge losses and traditional companies are a next level beast. It's like 2 people use the same account with contradictory views. Enjoyed this talk though.
Startups in India have basically broken the hegemony of the priveleged class the likes earlier most of this was restricted to IIT & IIM graduates now the pool is extending & more lower class is entering into this segment. Yes most of these startups are running into losses but at the end of the day of they are competing against well funded American tech giants & VC's so an average Indian entrepreneur cannot compete with these American giants without taking any external debt or asian funding.

Indeed an interesting Konversation. Thanks for having him on the show. And please change the host, he definitely seems disengaged and doesn't seem to care about the actual conversation.
That's the reason you should like this host. He lets the guest take over, stays completely non intrusive, interrupts at very fine points only. It's not often you get to hear people in peace and someone gelling in perfectly ... Dude, he is himself an IIM graduate.
While I understand the value of such videos to lots of viewers (as evident from comments below), the overall execution could and should have been a lot better. I am deeply disturbed by the video brief - "blessed to have both his parents to be from IITs". Would you not agree that parents are a blessing irrespective of where they graduate from? I understand driving insecurity and a feeling of deprivation in people generates views/ interest in your content. But, this is too far even for you guys. Please edit the brief if possible. Thanks

You really have to become a successful entrepreneur to have that kind of wealth which will last for generations otherwise service sector can only make you so much
Where's the ground breaking innovation?? Simply bosting about an elite Ivy league degree isn't enough. Why haven't we industrialized till now...where is our manufacturing prowess?? Where is out tech dominance?? Why don't we have a domestic semiconductor ecosystem?? Why aren't we self reliant on Defence Manufacturing?? Lot needs to be answered. Plz stop misleading people.

The host is so irritating. He looks completely so not interested in what Aviral is speaking. Look at hosts' body language, his head is turning sideways, scratching his head. Come on, man.
Lol!! The reserved have entered the chat! They'll get in with 70%ile and no acads no workex despite their parents being from anywhere 😂😂 irony is we take all these things seriously 😂
