100% this.. you didnt adjust for the height increase.. your dot was 2.5x the size it should have been .. I've never seen a fibre laser not tear through black paint on tin.. you forget it Cuts metal why wouldn't it engrave some black paint it's a red laser..
@@Tater_Poutine saw it immediately lol. We have a fiber laser at work. Taught the new guy how to operate it and later in the week he came to me to say it wasn't working. Same issue. Just forgot to focus for different material thickness.
Do you have any other videos on the software that would be very helpful. The company makes a video, but it doesn't make any sense because there's music in the background and you seem to do a good job explaining. After hours yesterday I managed to get a few things done on it for practicing, but I still need some help on some items. A good beginner video would be nice thanks. I practiced on a couple lids from different jam jars and peanut butter. They came out pretty good just still not sure about the frequency and the. H. And what kind of files does it accept?

Since you’ve had it a little while now, how long do you need to let the fan run before shutting it off five minutes.
I believe color only works on stainless steel only.
