Do you use a Cricut Maker or Maker 3 to make faceplates? If you do, have you made any with edge lighting? I'd be interested to hear how you did it. Please feel free to comment here!
@@onesoulthrust this preamp project has really expanded my approach. I’ve got a really cool idea for powering the whole thing that is different from anything I’ve ever done. Stay tuned! 😎
Very impressed with the twins characters! Well done. Question: why design the faceplace in vertical position? Why not design and add text/logo in horizontal, then just rotate and flip before engraving?
@@jodybergum9970 Mostly because OCD me 😂. I did design it horizontal and then flip just didn’t show that. I thought I implied it enough. 😉 Merry Christmas Jodo! Please extend our greetings to your Dad and Keith and Kim’s families.
The faceplate is 12” wide and that’s the maximum width the Cricut can go. I might make the final faceplate slightly larger, 12.25” x 2.25”, and it will be an easy change to make if I run it vertical. The reason for a slightly larger faceplate will be more obvious in the next video.

I miss read the title as circuit. So I was surprised by the video. Looks great! Have a very Merry Christmas!
@@jonahguitarguy I thought of that too. Sorry for the clickbait! 😂

@JagStar Why print vertical rather than horizontal. We have a Maker3 and still learning stuff!
Merry Christmas back to you & family!
