Bro, the grandpa is so sweet... looking out for his grandson. I'm so glad people like him exist. Absolute GOAT. Hope his grandson realizes how much his grandpa loves him, and hopefully doesn't turn out like his mom.

When I was a kid, my five cousins (sisters) lived with me on and off throughout our childhood. As an adult, I learned that their mom (my aunt) was getting a welfare check for the children, but never gave my mom any money for her kids. My mom was a single mom, working one job to support me and her nieces. She was too nice to my aunt instead of forcing her to pay up.
I was dragged to 'Support Court' by my ex-wife. I divorced her a month after she gave birth. She laid it all out to the judge, stating she was poor and I was rich, how she was struggling, how I did nothing for the child after the divorce. You could tell the judge was ready to rip me a new one. But, just as a judge should do, he asked for my response. I stood up..... "Good morning, Your honor. The child she is referring to is not my biological child. Thank you." And I sat back down. I showed proof she was cheating on me before the child was born. I showed proof in the form of a DNA test, taken when the child was 2 days old, and still in hospital, that he was not mine. She still tried to argue I had to pay because my name was on her child's birth certificate.... but it wasn't! I knew the name of the man she cheated with, and I wrote HIS name on the birth certificate, and she didn't find out until that day in court. I was free. I wish the best for that boy. Apparently, the real father is a good dad, so that's some relief to this mess.
People need to know that signing the birth certificate, father or not, legally makes you responsible for the child. DNA as part of the hospital birth process.
I raised my two daughters with no support from their mother. When i called the attorney generals office and asked to speak to someone about child support, the first question was "how far behind are you?" After i explained to her, I was the custodial parent and referring to her questionable parentage, I slammed the phone down. I miss being able to do that. My ex never paid anything and i raised a teacher and a nurse by myself and have three smart, beautiful grandkids.
I've raised mine with a donut.... they can't collect from my ex b/c he's on 'disability', is in areas of over $70K and is running his dead father's business under his dead father's name! No one gives a crap. You are a good man!

I appreciate that judge putting the accurate amount of child support on her based on her wages. If indeed she was paying $5,000 a month her child support should be running like $1,200 a month. She's obviously inept when it comes to math because if you make $36,000 a year which is equivalent to $3,000 a month there is no way you can afford a $5,000 a month condo. I'm all smiles I'm so proud of that judge. She's lucky she didn't get thrown in jail like most men do. I'm an ex Child Support Officer and I've seen this happen over and over again where women are treated more lenient than men. Go judge
Maybe that’s because men still make more than women. Actually women are still only making .83 cents on the dollar compared to men. I’m n NO WAY excusing this woman, just stating why women should get off with a bit less than our male counterparts as far as considering differences in wages in 2022
She “needs” that condo! For what I don’t know. She needs a two bedroom house or apartment where the rent/mortgage isn’t so high, so that she can provide for her child!

Shes not even a real judge, and everyone else are actors. The only thing semi real is the cases they base these scripts off of, but just like any other script they are gonna make it more click-baity by exaggerating certain things.
Yeah, in order to afford a $5k mortgage a month, and all the other bear minimum basics she needs to survive(utilities, food, gas, car payment, car/health insurance phone, beauty products, entertainment, restaurants, hotels, jet setter that she is, etc), she has to be pulling in AT LEAST 90k, though I gotta think it would actually need to be much higher!?!? So, either she's lying about her income, or getting paid cash, under the table, for doing god knows what!?!? Based on personal experience, I'm guessing it's the latter. Case in point, in the '80's, my dad was ordered to pay $19/week in child support....which he never did. My mom took him back to court, and the judge raised it to, are you ready for this, a whopping, $24/week, to begin paying down some of money he owed for back child support. His checks were to be garnished to make sure he actually followed through this time, so what did he do? Quit his job, and only worked jobs that paid cash...bartender, handyman, shoddy construction projects, drug dealer, to name a few. His reason for not paying, "my ex has a good job, so she shouldn't need the money". My mom just dropped it after that, as attorney's fees were more than his payments would be. Bottom line, this world is full of shitty, selfish people, much like the one in this video.
This was actually sad , I can tell the man was kinda embarrassed to have to ask for help , because he simply could not afford to do it alone at his age.

Military men and women deserve so much more than having to struggle after retiring from giving their all for serving our country. None of them deserve to have financial struggles. NONE!!!! He's not only a good Grandpa, but a good man to take on such a huge responsibility of taking care of a three year old, autistic or not on a fixed income and retired. I hope he gets help from good people in his family and/or friends or others.

That mom was absolutely spoiled. This grandfather is a great man, good dude, didn't ask for anything more than necessary, and was even somehow respectful to the mother.
Hopefully his grandfather will be around long enough to get him through adulthood. Because if he has to go and live with his mother in that $5,000/month condo, he’ll be raising himself.
Thousands of actual cases like this. In this instance, the young boy is better off with grandpa if grandpa is willing to raise him. Boys raised by single mothers statistically do not do well. A single father or in thise case, single grandpa will statistically raise a much healthier, confident, capable, secure young man.

I eat steaks weekly*, paid off my house in 14yrs, 2 vehicles, 99% of my jeans are levis. I cant imagine needing an expensive life when i live great being a little intelligent and humble. Funfact i really only pay about 7-8k per year for my place for taxes and bills
My brother-in-law was a travel agent, and the thing is.... she's a liar. She has plenty of money, because travel agents get either free or reduced-rate flights, then get next to nothing on the cost of wherever she travels, since she's going to "try things out". And I guarantee you she's making close to $100,000 (if not more), and could easily support that baby, if she wanted to. But that's just it. She ain't interested.

I’m a single father of two girls. I got a divorce while stationed over in Hawaii. I won custody of both of the girls and she never had to pay a dime of child support. The girls were 2&3 when we got divorced and now they are 24&25 and their bdays is next month.

Something that should be noted is that she said she can travel, not that she has to travel. The traveling is all extra. Based on this and the condo, she probably meant she makes 35k a month instead of year.
Travel agents make about that much a year. Unless she's lying about her job, $35,000 a year is the average annual salary for a travel agent. Because that particular job doesn't pay $420,000 a year.

Both parents are supposed to care, nurture and take care of the children they produced. When my ex husband and I separated, we had two daughters and the oldest daughter just responded better to his direction and his way of parenting, so we decided that she would love with him. She's 43 (the youngest daughter is 40) and she has grown up to be a productive, responsible adult. Can't ask for more.

Her job didn’t have her traveling, SHE had her traveling because she could go on trips at a discount. In other words, it was like going to a store sale and buying something she didn’t need just because it was on sale.
When my daughter stayed solely with her Mum i paid every week, never needed an agreement as my ex knew she'd never get anymore by taking me to court. That lasted from my daughter being 4 year old to 12 year old. She moved in with me at 12 year old and 2 things happened, her Mum never paid a penny in support and my kid only went back to stay overnight with her 5 times in the following years. Fast forward to now and my kids 25 year old, doing great and i get my ex on the phone every so often complaining about how little contact she has with her own daughter, didn't bother her that much when she was wanting to do her own thing but you reap what you sow
Judge 1) Ask her how much her income was the past two years, $5K a month doesn’t add up with $35K/yr, 2) ask her if her travel is REQUIRED by her work, or only holidays slince she flys free (bet there are other expenses on those holidays!)
The integrity of that man is stellar. To take care of a special needs child has got to be difficult & the audacity of that woman is unbelievable. She should be ashamed of herself but instead she tries to play the victim.
She thought she could just show up and say “I don’t have that” and the judge would be like “ok that’s ok then if you don’t have it…… “ I’m so shocked at how selfish she is. Grandpa is on a fixed income and should be retiring comfortably but she’s the victim somehow.
There are pretty much no consequences for women these days. So, accordingly, most of them have realized this and are acting as such. It's ok for a woman to abandon her child, it's looked down upon for a man to do so. Besides, any real man, wouldn't even think of leaving his child like this.
When my ex and I divorced, a parenting evaluation was done and I ended up with full custody of our son. When my ex was told that she would have to pay me support she went into a huge nuclear meltdown, freaking out and screaming that it was unfair and that mother shouldn't ever have to pay support. You can imagine how well that went over with the judge. I was awarded support, and of course she never paid it.
Should have sued her for support. She wouldn't have shown you any mercy in that regard if things were reversed. Women will keep doing this until repercussions are made to their actions.
No! Never do that. Why would you destroy a child's faith in people because of a piece of shit mother? That kid is going to be scared already, no need to make it worse. Instead of feeding him hate, give the child love....the child isn't to blame or to be used as a pawn to make a statement. Doing that makes you no better than the child's mother.
My mom was like this, though my dad didn't die. Abandoned the family when I was in diapers. Never fought for custody. Did however fight to get rid of child support and unlike here, succeeded. And whenever we talk, she's either renovating a new home or she's traveled somewhere. Heck, I learned she remarried cause I got a letter where her surname was different. New stepdad + 8 new stepsiblings out of nowhere. I'm currently working out how to cut her out of my life cause she likes being a mom without having actually been a mom.
Im so sorry that happened to you. You deserved better. I hope you get some counseling to help you deal with 'her' issues that unfortunately caused you to suffer not having a real mother to raise you. I hope at least your dad has been there for you and been a good form of support. You are entitled to feel however you feel about her, and you have every right to deal with her in any healthy way you see fit. A counselor can help you with considering options and possible outcomes that may effect you down the road. Not meaning to get into your business, just a mom here who's heart breaks at the thought of you growing up not having a mom, while having a mom. She will regret that some day (or should) and may try to re-establish a mother and child relationship, and most likely wont understand your resistance. I wouldnt blame you if you told her to go to hell. But if that relationship is something you do wish for, that risky chance may be worth the effort. Only you can answer that one. I do wish you luck and hope you can use this sad story of selfishness as a mother to make you more empathetic and sympathetic to the needs of any children you may some day have. Instead of becoming like her, dont repeat the cycle, break it. My prayers and big ole mama hugs go out to you. I think you still have a lot to work out in your head, but always remember, it's not your fault. Her issues are her issues and a mother is supposed to make your issues and needs her priority. A mom never puts herself first. My mom heart breaks for you.

Most single mothers treat their CS like their personal expense account when they receive it to. The most stable parent should receive custody and CS amounts minimized when possible, but they maximize it instead because they get federal money for every dollar of CS collected.

I absolutely LOVE this judge! As for this "mother", she's not traveling FOR her job, she's traveling BECAUSE of her job. In other words, traveling for her own pleasure. As for less than $700 a month for her own child, she should be thankful that's all she has to pay. As for the grandpa, you rock!

my daughter gave birth to her oldest when she was 15, she wasn't ready to be a mom yet so I raised him for almost 3 years, then she was ready, she now has 3 kids and is a great mom, that child I helped raised just turned 18 and graduated from high school, I am so proud of them both

I was married for 11 years and we had three children. In 1987 we parted and I ended up with the youngsters ages 8, 6, and 3. I had asked my legal counsel about the possibility of some form of child support but he said that my chances were virtually nil. You see, back then Judges were remiss to grant child support to a man but had no problem with giving it to a woman. I thought it was unfair but in the end it was a good thing. You see, every time my Ex came at me trying to weasel something or threaten me with some form of legal action, I would just remind her that I could still come after her for child support and it would be retroactive to the day our divorce had been granted. That made her shut up and go away. My Daughter got married recently and of course her Mother was there. She came up to me and started to talk to me and I told her to get lost and I wanted nothing to do with her. She started to create a scene and I stopped her cold and she bristled with rage. How you might ask? Well, I reminded her of the child support issue and her response was, "Well, it's too late for that now." I looked her square in the eye and informed her that under the prevailing laws I could still come back on her for that money and could do so until the day I die. I also told her that with the back pay, along with the interest on it, the sum would be close to $75,000.00. Her reaction? Well she spun on her heel and walked away stiff necked and furious. It was a good day.............
As a single mom where the father is not in the picture due to his own negligence with drug addiction.....I can say we are embarrassed with this woman and do NOT take any kind of ownership for her at all!!🙄🤦💯 Take care of your kids, or pay support for your children's father in law who is helping you out!!!!! @@larryivey8118 I saw a case where a Texas man had full custody since the divorce. The mom moved to Ohio and filed for child support. It took a lawyer from the state of Texas to get it removed.

Divorce was only offered to the worst of abuse cases and martial rape was simply swept under the rug. No shit marriages lasted longer if people were forced to stay together both bc of the law and social pressures from everyone around them
I love this Judge! My question is, why is her son, her child not living with her? Although I’m glad he doesn’t because she’s more concern about paying $5,000 a month allegedly on her condo and let’s not forget getting her hair done, nice clothing, traveling, etc. I personally think that she’s very lucky she has her father in law taking care of her son that has special needs, which is NOT his responsibility, because he already raised his child (RIP), now he’s raising this clowns son?! "Judge" Vonda isn't a judge. These are just scripted skits portrayed by actors. They aren't even trying to recreate real cases using court transcripts or something. YT channels need to stop reacting to these things like they're real.

I will never understand any parent that leaves their child. I lost my youngest son to cancer when he was not even 14 years old and the thought that there are moms and dads whose children are alive and well that don't see them or sadly don't love them, just makes me outraged. There is nothing more precious than a child!

I know from experience that if this was a real court case, the child support payments would have been more like $1000.00 to$1500.00 a month. She said she makes 30 something thousand a year but pays $5000.00 a month condo payment. Which means she probably actually making close $100,000.00 a year.
My rent for a 3 bedroom HOUSE is only 730 a month. A condo for 5K a month, heffer get a 1 room apt for like 600 a month and give the rest to YOUR child for support

I appreciate that judge putting the accurate amount of child support on her based on her wages. If indeed she was paying $5,000 a month her child support should be running like $1,200 a month. She's obviously inept when it comes to math because if you make $36,000 a year which is equivalent to $3,000 a month there is no way you can afford a $5,000 a month condo. I'm all smiles I'm so proud of that judge. She's lucky she didn't get thrown in jail like most men do. I'm an ex Child Support Officer and I've seen this happen over and over again where women are treated more lenient than men. Go judge

Yeah, in order to afford a $5k mortgage a month, and all the other bear minimum basics she needs to survive(utilities, food, gas, car payment, car/health insurance phone, beauty products, entertainment, restaurants, hotels, jet setter that she is, etc), she has to be pulling in AT LEAST 90k, though I gotta think it would actually need to be much higher!?!? So, either she's lying about her income, or getting paid cash, under the table, for doing god knows what!?!? Based on personal experience, I'm guessing it's the latter.
Case in point, in the '80's, my dad was ordered to pay $19/week in child support....which he never did. My mom took him back to court, and the judge raised it to, are you ready for this, a whopping, $24/week, to begin paying down some of money he owed for back child support. His checks were to be garnished to make sure he actually followed through this time, so what did he do? Quit his job, and only worked jobs that paid cash...bartender, handyman, shoddy construction projects, drug dealer, to name a few. His reason for not paying, "my ex has a good job, so she shouldn't need the money". My mom just dropped it after that, as attorney's fees were more than his payments would be. Bottom line, this world is full of shitty, selfish people, much like the one in this video.

Something that should be noted is that she said she can travel, not that she has to travel. The traveling is all extra. Based on this and the condo, she probably meant she makes 35k a month instead of year.
Travel agents make about that much a year. Unless she's lying about her job, $35,000 a year is the average annual salary for a travel agent. Because that particular job doesn't pay $420,000 a year.

When my ex husband and I separated, we had two daughters and the oldest daughter just responded better to his direction and his way of parenting, so we decided that she would love with him. She's 43 (the youngest daughter is 40) and she has grown up to be a productive, responsible adult. Can't ask for more.

When my daughter stayed solely with her Mum i paid every week, never needed an agreement as my ex knew she'd never get anymore by taking me to court. That lasted from my daughter being 4 year old to 12 year old. She moved in with me at 12 year old and 2 things happened, her Mum never paid a penny in support and my kid only went back to stay overnight with her 5 times in the following years. Fast forward to now and my kids 25 year old, doing great and i get my ex on the phone every so often complaining about how little contact she has with her own daughter, didn't bother her that much when she was wanting to do her own thing but you reap what you sow
Judge 1) Ask her how much her income was the past two years, $5K a month doesn’t add up with $35K/yr, 2) ask her if her travel is REQUIRED by her work, or only holidays slince she flys free (bet there are other expenses on those holidays!)

When my ex was told that she would have to pay me support she went into a huge nuclear meltdown, freaking out and screaming that it was unfair and that mother shouldn't ever have to pay support. You can imagine how well that went over with the judge. I was awarded support, and of course she never paid it.

And whenever we talk, she's either renovating a new home or she's traveled somewhere. Heck, I learned she remarried cause I got a letter where her surname was different. New stepdad + 8 new stepsiblings out of nowhere.
I'm currently working out how to cut her out of my life cause she likes being a mom without having actually been a mom.
Im so sorry that happened to you. You deserved better. I hope you get some counseling to help you deal with 'her' issues that unfortunately caused you to suffer not having a real mother to raise you. I hope at least your dad has been there for you and been a good form of support. You are entitled to feel however you feel about her, and you have every right to deal with her in any healthy way you see fit. A counselor can help you with considering options and possible outcomes that may effect you down the road. Not meaning to get into your business, just a mom here who's heart breaks at the thought of you growing up not having a mom, while having a mom. She will regret that some day (or should) and may try to re-establish a mother and child relationship, and most likely wont understand your resistance. I wouldnt blame you if you told her to go to hell. But if that relationship is something you do wish for, that risky chance may be worth the effort. Only you can answer that one. I do wish you luck and hope you can use this sad story of selfishness as a mother to make you more empathetic and sympathetic to the needs of any children you may some day have. Most single mothers treat their CS like their personal expense account when they receive it to. The most stable parent should receive custody and CS amounts minimized when possible, but they maximize it instead because they get federal money for every dollar of CS collected.

I was married for 11 years and we had three children. In 1987 we parted and I ended up with the youngsters ages 8, 6, and 3. I had asked my legal counsel about the possibility of some form of child support but he said that my chances were virtually nil. You see, back then Judges were remiss to grant child support to a man but had no problem with giving it to a woman. I thought it was unfair but in the end it was a good thing. You see, every time my Ex came at me trying to weasel something or threaten me with some form of legal action, I would just remind her that I could still come after her for child support and it would be retroactive to the day our divorce had been granted. That made her shut up and go away.
My Daughter got married recently and of course her Mother was there. She came up to me and started to talk to me and I told her to get lost and I wanted nothing to do with her. She started to create a scene and I stopped her cold and she bristled with rage. How you might ask? Well, I reminded her of the child support issue and her response was, "Well, it's too late for that now." I looked her square in the eye and informed her that under the prevailing laws I could still come back on her for that money and could do so until the day I die. I also told her that with the back pay, along with the interest on it, the sum would be close to $75,000.00. Her reaction? Well she spun on her heel and walked away stiff necked and furious.

Divorce was only offered to the worst of abuse cases and martial rape was simply swept under the rug. I love this Judge! My question is, why is her son, her child not living with her? Although I’m glad he doesn’t because she’s more concern about paying $5,000 a month allegedly on her condo and let’s not forget getting her hair done, nice clothing, traveling, etc. I personally think that she’s very lucky she has her father in law taking care of her son that has special needs, which is NOT his responsibility, because he already raised his child (RIP), now he’s raising this clowns son?! I think that the child support she was ordered to pay is not nearly enough to cover his expenses vs living with her son because supporting 1 child is not cheap, specially now a days with everything going on and then you add the fact he has special needs..?! WTF is wrong with her..? Oh and let’s not forget that this really nice grandpa doesn’t have the luxury to travel even if it’s free because who would take care of his son/grandson while his traveling. She’s not gonna pay enough with what the Judge ordered her to pay, she got really lucky! I don’t know what State she lives in but $5,000 a month for a condo is way more than what my husband and I pay a month for a house! And that’s including bills and we live in one of the most expensive States and not too far from the beach...this so called “mother” is a POS! Sorry about my spelling, I’m so livid with this piece of human garbage right now that I can’t even think straight 🤦🏻♀️

I will never understand any parent that leaves their child. I lost my youngest son to cancer when he was not even 14 years old and the thought that there are moms and dads whose children are alive and well that don't see them or sadly don't love them, just makes me outraged. There is nothing more precious than a child!

I know from experience that if this was a real court case, the child support payments would have been more like $1000.00 to$1500.00 a month.
She said she makes 30 something thousand a year but pays $5000.00 a month condo payment. Which means she probably actually making close $100,000.00 a year.
