      Thanks for watching. The other tunnels are much further towards Leadville. Hopefully I'll find them someday.

    Nice, but Manitou is misspelled!
    There are also two tunnels in Manitou Springs east of Ruxton Avenue. (Hard to spot because so many houses have been built on top of the old Colorado Midland grade.) The entrances are collapsed or badly eroded and both are on private property. You could ask the landowners for permission, always a good practice.

    You showed a tunnel that was gated at the end of your video. Is that the one on the left of the road going to Cripple Creek?

      Yes, right next to a popular trailhead. After the railroad went under they tried to use it as a car tunnel. That's why there are street lights inside. Unfortunately only one car could get through at a time, so they scrapped it.
