I tried this deck originally with Marowak EX and I have horrible RNG... So I decided to remove both Cubones and Marowaks and added in another potion and an extra Hitmonlee and Staryu and Starmie EX as Starmie does not cost anything to retreat and although less damage than Marowak EX I have found it to run so much smoother especially running it with two Lees that just swap in and out with Starmie, it is so much fun! Thank you for the build!
Great tip! I don't really like cards that rely on coin toss results to deal damge (I prefer Exeggutor Ex over Marowak Ex because Exeggutor always deals 40 damge and 80 after 1 "Heads" (Marowak deals the same amount of damge) for the same amount of "Heads", but sometimes it doesn't deal damage at all)), so your alternative is quite interesting.
I'm curious how well this works though, because you are highly reliant on needing 2 waters for starmie to function. You removed the Marowak coinflip RNG but added energy RNG.
@crackawhat1 I haven't had many issues getting Starmie the energy it needs, between the two I have had loads of fun but I personally prefer Starmie I cannot tell you how many times this zero retreat cost had come in clutch to swap in Lee and finish off a benched pokemon for the win.
The thing I appreciate the most about these videos is that it's always a fun and chill time, no controversy, or anyone being upset. It's really refreshing.
@@Carlos.Rivera i think its for the passive of the atack of bruxish, u atack the the enemy active pokemon with greninja ability first so after the atack of the bruxish does 70 dmg less than 10 with only 2 energies
@@Carlos.Rivera bruxish's attack deals 10 dmg but has the effect of dealing +60 dmg to a damaged Pokemon, greninjas ability damages a mon for 20 even when its benched so basically 20 dmg from greninjas ability + 70dmg from bruxish = 90 dmg a turn and into blaine decks which are mainly fire mons its + 20 more dmg so youre doing 110 dmg to a fire mon
I've been eyeing up Greninja lately, I really want to see if I can try and get it working with Dragonite, but 2 stage 2s feels like some kind of nightmare to plan around. The dream is 2 Grenin on bench and then you chip foir Draco ranges. Maybe if they add Great / ultra ball it would be less painful, even more so if you run Dnite line to 1 and then trainer up
Hey xatumi! Was wondering if you took inspiration from my spicy deck when you were playing against your viewers (no ex's)? I'm "paper" where I ran hitmonlee + greninja and threw in farfetch'd. Glad to see this deck getting traction!
It kinda irks me to see people running fossils like an "anti-Serena" deck tech as if X-Speed wasn't a viable Serena answer in most cases. I mean, don't get me wrong it's smart, in a way, but it's also a dead card on your bench and its "anti-Sabrina" ability is entirely contingent on the fact that the attacking Pokemon doesn't have a 40 damage, or higher, move bc then it just becomes a free point for the opponent. It's also not so much an "answer" to Sabrina as it is a backup plan, simply because you can't have the opponent play Sabrina first and then you playing the fossil from the hand, you need to anticipate and to have it on your bench before they'd use their trainer card. To me it just looks like a bad tech. X-Speed achieves the same momentum preserving capacities, has more uses outside of answering Sabrina and isn't a dead draw immediately after Sabrina dropped.
@@waelepips3751 and that is completely fair, I get it... But at the same time it's a 40hp body that sits on the board doing nothing and that will accomplish very little at best, nothing at worst. I would get someone running an entire fossil line if they wanted a pokemon line that doesn't interfere with pokeballs and their main combo. But in this specific case, using it this way just looks like a waste of a slot, in my very humble opinion.
@@waelepips3751 Like at this point, I'd say just run another X-Speed or a Giovanni because both will most likely do more work on average, with the former still preserving your momentum much in the same way you would use your fossil.
@@Hyunckel101 i do run 2x xspeed on top of a fossil. Fossil is also good as it stalls your opponents sabrina. Makes them not want to use it when fossil is in ur bench. It makes sabrina, one of the best support card in the game, a dead card in their hand.
I couldn’t agree more about you saying, “If you can build a deck around people’s favourite Pokemon veiwer ship will increase” 🤣
Marowak: Sometimes, I just don’t give a crap.
*Miss every coin flip for the next 3 hours.*
Thanks for showing these off meta decks. It really shows the diversity of the set that isn’t t1.

Marowack is great until I miss 7 out of 8 flips. I really like the greninja/hitmonlee backup plan so I think Ill try that
oh man am i convinced one of my marowaks, only lands heads and the other... not so much
@@Xatumime too and I saw it in stream a marowak 3 time all tails and other one 2 heads twice
Lost to an articuno ex deck for that reason despite their misty whiffing it was so painful haha

Really good card if he isn't your main strat or you have a backup
greninja + bruxish is such a good deck into charizard ex decks and the blaine ninetails
Could you elaborate more?

Im planning to run Articuno EX with Greninja and at least one Bruxish too. Just need to pull some Greninjas lol.
well you need someome to frontrun until greninja isn't ready tho, otherwise it would have a incredible bad early game

Hitmonlee and Greninja is like peanut butter and jam god damn
Guys can we hit 600 likes in this video? I really wanna see a ditto deck.
i wanna see too
You are so likeable as a streamer/RUclipsr! Hope you get more subs and views!
That last game was so nasty.
I appreciate it!
I’ve rolled double tails so many times that I refuse to use Marowak ex. That card snatches defeat from the jaws of victory.
Can i still unlock greninja?? Not sure how to get it
Deck Idea: Exeggator EX & Beedrill. Both only need one energy to do solid damage. Exeggator does 40-80 & Beedrill does 70 everytime
8:17 mine always goes tales
Can you make a build around cloyster?
Doble tails is life in this game lol
when fossil dies does it count towards enemy points?
If ko'd yes if discarded no
@@TempestDacine yea, I mean ko'd, thanks
How do I get a greninja nobody is explaining it

Absolutely crushing it still bringing us the cutting edge tech for this evolving meta.
Ditto deck you say?
Been playing Greninja a lot too! It's so good
Is it me or is the audio off sync?
Replace the X Speed and Potion and you can stall even more on the fossil tech with Aerodactyl's Primal Wingbeat
Would like to see a machamp deck
How you choose which energy to get?
fighting
When setting up a deck one of the options is choosing which energy will appear when playing.
I have a coin flip trick that can land all heads. But only works in real life.😢
Love your videos!
Thanks!
I can **never** do any of those decks bc I always lack at least 1 card😅😅 sometimes it's frustrating to be a f2p
Marrowack S Tier, if it's always hit 2 heads
I must be unlucky bc Marowak EX is by far the worst EX card in the game imo. I hit for 0 damage with it very consistently lol
Phenomenal
