@15:00 you want to research first. If you want a specific pokemon or to draw as many basics as possible, go research, then pokeball. If you want want a specific non-basic pokemon or trainer card, that's when you pokeball then research.
I agree that Misty isn’t needed in this deck. If you’re running Pokemon that only need two energy, you get multiple mons built up naturally pretty quickly. As soon as you need three or more energy on a mon, though, like Blastoise, Dragonite, or even Articuno, Misty feels like a card that sometimes allows you to just win one or more turns sooner. Also, I have a question. At 5:15, you play a Research into their red card. I am not playing myself and only have time to catch RUclips videos like this and not streams, so I’m wondering about what percentage of decks you play against that are playing Red Card. In this case, the only two cards you could get off of Research that would be playable that same turn are Pokeball (only one left in the deck) or one of two Tentacool. If they’re not running Red Card, Research is always a good play, but if there’s an okay chance of them running it because you see enough players running it, is this one of the scenarios where it is worth not playing Research to avoid getting punished by Red Card (if you can call it that, considering the three cards you drew were just what you needed)?
If they don’t adjust cards, then I hope they come out with new cards often that are adjusted based on the meta. Crossing my fingers that there isn’t a lot of power creep too soon.
When you overthinking to much :D. At last game you could kill onix. He would play golem, kill your greninja having only dugtrio at bench. Then you would put starmie, play sabrina and kill dugtrio for last point. Miss lethal! XD
Do you think they will nerf and buff cards? Do you think players will be compensated in some way if they have been chasing cards for decks that get nerfed? Just some thoughts.
Rewriting the text or values will never happen in any TCG, as far as I know. In some notes of the game when pulling it states, “please note, some cards may be banned for the state of competitive.” So banned cards maybe, but even that, I’ve heard it doesn’t happen often in tcg.
They will definately alter cards at some point, and no you will not get any refunds. This would all be covered in the tos. Though they may not if they choose to use alternatives methods of balancing
tentacruel seems like a worse starmie, less dmg overall, heavier to bench and less heath. does the poison scale like toxic in pokemon games or something ? did not see many posion in action so i'm kinda lost in this regard
Personally I’ve been running Ninetales TURBO which is basically the same as Starmie it’s 2 energy for 90 damage but I’ve been pairing it with Farfetch’d so going 2nd you can just immediately swing for 40 with FF and keep pressure on the opponent I think it’s a bit better than Starmie because if it gets KO’d you only give your opponent 1 point and you will always have a follow up attacker not to mention the Blaine support card that buffs ur attack so you can do 120 damage and 1 hit KO pikachus it’s really consistent you could also add Tauros or Kangaskhan but yeah I’ve been really enjoying this budget deck super cheap to build and easy to play
Look Ma, I made it

From what I’ve heard they don’t want to errata cards, but we’ll see. I think Starmie is fine tbh
Tentacruel is an absolute beast! Love to see it! Keep up the fun Pocket Content!
The thumbnail obscures the word perfectly so it looks like it could be poison testicles lol

I run a similar Gren deck but with Weezing and Koga Instead.
Good on LEADER? When? How? Where’s this announcement? 📣 😱

@@VanceWeebin It's digital or errata is more likely than ban. I don't know how they will compensate outside of giving pack points.
@@VanceWeebinmarvel snap does buffs and nerfs
@@VanceWeebinIt's common practice in all digital TCGs, could happen here as this is not linked to the fisical game

Day one of asking why Gyrados is so cracked

That may be true, but your opponent only gets 1 point for killing tentacruel vs 2 points for starmie.
Slowpoke my beloved (first!)
