I so enjoy your shows, and want you to know how much you up lift my down days, and add sunshine to brigthen my day. Hugs and prayers Linda from Cheryl in Bakersfield Calif. Wish i had you as a neighbor...lol lol lol.
I am so excited that you'll be on Homeworthy!!!! I'm a Homeworthy junkie and have gained so many tips from watching the home tours. Two of my favorite channels colliding. I can't wait!
That was a sweet story about your Dad. As we are much older & grandparents now, it means more than ever before that we share the holidays with our children around us.
The story of your dad that you told can make me cry (so touching), about him enjoying you all around. And the turtle your mom made in one of her hospital stays & to think of this mother having so many children, she had to part from. My mom's father passed away at the age of 34 of cancer, he was the father of 8 children. My mom's parents married very young, he was 16 & her mother 17 when married. He died a month before my mom turned 3 yrs old & he never got to see his 8 th child, she was born the end of feb & he died march 3 rd. My mom's mother later had 2 more children (twins) - so she was the mother of 10 children & she loved loved her kids coming to see her & us 30 grandchildren. Linda, everything you do in your home looks beautiful --i like the christmas tree in the public bathroom.
Love to see Goose again! Such a sweetie pie! The cottage is “beginning to look a lot like Christmas!” So pretty! Love the idea of having a color scheme room!
Oh just love the silver tinsel tree with the blue theme, just gorgeous ❤. Sending love to you and your family from Rosie O from a frosty Devon, England 🏴 x
Linda, that’s a beautiful story about your dad. When you have a large family your active parenting years stretch out more than usual. Our youngest is 18 and our oldest is 40 with 8 children in between so children have filled our home for 40 yrs....I so understand what your dad was saying. All the activity that a large family brings defines our life for so long. ...might be tiring but it’s oh so fulfilling!
Thanks for the look at some of your decor for Christmas. It's all really lovely. Glad Homeworthy choose to knock on your door. It's such a great channel.
You are so chill and relaxed with your guests and grand dog visiting right before two big house showings!! I’d be so stressed out wanting everything to be perfect and preparing for the tours. How do you not stress out about it? Wish I could be more like you!!
Stewart had lots to chuckle about on this one!!! I gleaned so many ideas with this Linda. I now know what is lacking in my master bath: I have a soaking tub with bubble bath and candles....but I NEED a Christmas tree in my bath....I am going to look for one tomorrow. It will look and feel so festive. This Christmas will be a little sad as both our children are moving away for jobs: one to Europe and the other to the west coast. It's going to be lonely without them. I absolutely love HOMEWORTHY and congrats to you. Thanks so much.
I had my grandkids send me a list of things on Amazon that they would like for Christmas…I got a lot of ideas they really would like….got them ordered in no time with things they would like to have..instead of me guessing what they might want….super easy❤️
I am so excited for you Linda to be on Homeworthy! You and Homeworthy are my two favorite shows! So happy for you. Love seeing the start of your Christmas decorations, so pretty.
Your home is stunning Linda, and you must be having a ball learning all the ways to decorate your cottage during your first Christmas! I'd love to know where you purchased the buck and doe ornaments. I just published a fable for children titled, The Buck and The Birds. I'd love to purchase these adorable ornaments for my Christmas tree to remember this special year.
I love Homeworthy! I am so excited that you will be featured this year. The young lady who hosts the tours is such a wonderful host. Good news that Brian will be on again. Love the newest addition to your home ….now, you need a needlepoint pillow that says “ a house isn’t a home without a dog “
Congratulations Linda on Homeworthy. I can’t wait❤️. Loved your video today your story about Christmas and your Dad touched my heart. My mother had dementia forv17 years and her favorite time was Christma being one of 13 children She would always say I want to go home and after a few years we realized what she meant was that feeling of Home was being with her Mom and Dad and siblings and now family. Make it count every day just like your Dad said Series, oh yes.❤
My mom had an aluminum tree one year with one of those color wheels that changed the tree colors. She also had a pink tree one year. I am doing retro so everything is red, white, gold and white.
Loved the way we could hear the Saturday noon tornado siren in the background and no one noticed or said a word!! Only a local would have a clue about that sound . Goose is utterly adorable! Thanks for all the wonderful decorating ideas.
With that hearty laugh....Stewart just might be Santa!!!!!! I love it. I wish I could have seen him chuckling. Linda kept going but her cheeks were flushed in a light moment. Maybe it’s not accurate, but the working relationship seems warm and happy.
Good morning Linda and Stewart - I just want to thank you for sharing your beautiful home and holiday decorations, you have really sparked some holiday spirit in me. I'll be starting to decorate today!! Happy holidays!😊
Goose is adorable! Rescue animals are the best. Your home looks lovely. I especially liked the silver holiday tree with the blue and white ornaments. I did this same theme many years ago, and I loved it. I love a blue, white, and silver theme for the holidays because it perfectly matches my living room/dining room year round theme. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with all of us. I always enjoy taking some time to watch your videos.
Greetings. In Knoxville, TN the Old Knoxville Holiday Victorian Home Tour is December 2nd and 3rd. One of my favorite events leading up to the holidays. Always enjoy seeing the lovely homes. So much work in preparation and you seem to make it so easy.
Linda, that was a sweet, moving story about your dad. We hold those we love in our hearts and through us, they live on in precious memory. Good to see your kid’s dog again, too. What beautiful ideas you shared on this video! Thanks you for sharing your life with us.
Oh my, goose is a sweetie! You are going to have one busy week!! It’s better than getting ready to move, though. Especially love the parlor tinsel tree. 😊
❤Linda you give me so many great ideas. ❤I love the tinsel tree in your living room area and also I love the tree that you have in bath. I have two of those. sending ❤love, prayers, hugs and kindness with positive thoughts always looking for the next video.❤❤❤
Im glad you are decorating to match your parlor, those blues and silvers look so nice. I too do not do the traditional red and green, I decorate to match my decor too. In olives, browns and ivory.
So exciting you will be on Homeworthy! Love Homeworthy. I actually rewatched Brandon’s townhouse tour yesterday. It was fab x I lived in Old Town Alexandria years ago. So beautiful in the fall and spring with all the cherry 🍒 blossoms.
I love that you entertain in your bathroom! As girls growing up, and later with my own girls, we spent SO much time in the bathroom getting ready for many occasions. It occurred to me that a lot of memories centered around that bathroom time. Who knew?
I am so interested in your fireplace coals or lava rock and wrought iron container that you have in your living room. I have only seen logs before. It is beautiful. Could you talk about it in one of your videos. Thank you Linda.
TIP: I bought Linda's Garden Journal. I LOVE it. I covered the Journal in press n seal plastic wrap to keep it protected and clean. It's working great and doesn't take away from the beautiful look of the book
Goose is too cute & sweet!!! ❤ Homeworthy!!! How exciting, I love their home tours! I think the stocking holders will work once the sticking have some weight in them for gravity. Glad all of you had a great Thanksgiving!
I read a tip from someone who used removable command strips for Christmas stockings. I hung my stockings on them today and I like the unobtrusive look and strength of the clear hooks. My pups raced off to find Goose while he was barking.🐕☺
When I need additional seating…….I use folding chairs. However, I make custom slip covers to cover the backs of the chairs. I then tie a ribbon or decorate rope around them with an additional adornment on the back of the chair.
I’m as obsessed with @homeworthy as I am your channel Linda. So much beauty of all kinds. There is inspiration for all. Can’t wait to see your showing!!!
I love Homeworthy and look forward to you being on it with your Cottage on the Hill. I loved your friend Brandon's tour as well last year and he really puts on a show for the holidays for sure. I always classy after one of your videos with a couple new ideas to incorporate into my home. Lovely🌲
Agreed with the comment about being particular with the things we want & would rather send them the link or even better, pick it out at the store. As seniors we go out & get pretty much what we want or need so I’m being told hubs & I are getting tougher to buy for. Daughter works for a large nursery in Broken Arrow & gets everything at cost so I told her I wanted a Michael Carr pot & after many pictures sent, I picked the one I wanted.❤ Yay!
I use small screw-in gold cup hooks just on the underside of my mantel to hang stockings. So much better than the hangers and they don’t detract from the mantel decor.
I'm there with you, our family Christmas is dec. 9th so i am in Christmas mide decor, too. In fact I'm all done decorating. Now wrapping, baking, i have a to do list. So my act is all together.
My journal is perfect. I'm going to start using it after Christmas. Love your memories of your daddy. Enjoy seeing your color coordinating your decoration. I try to do that also, keeping in mind my little ones. So Santa paper lol.
Goose is the sweetest!! I'm so glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We did too with my youngest son and his wife of 4 weeks! So many great decorating ideas Linda. I did buy the brass candle holders so I'm going to use in glass hurricanes too. Great idea! Keep enjoying the series that is Christmas 😊 Your friend Kristine

Dogs love their grandmas, because we spoil them. 😊

The relationship you have with the neighborhood's little girls is precious. Thanks for sharing.
So many sweet moments in your video today, and Goose is quite the charmer! She obviously feels quite at home in the cottage on the hill!
Love love love GOOSE! 💕💕💕🐕
You are so chill and relaxed with your guests and grand dog visiting right before two big house showings!! I’d be so stressed out wanting everything to be perfect and preparing for the tours. How do you not stress out about it? Wish I could be more like you!!
It is beginning to look really beautiful in your cottage Linda! I can't wait for the final tour!
My grandsons are going to flip over the Harry Potter wand lighting candle idea!

You are creater, master of design, thank you for teaching us, ❤
I love my clear plastic ghost chairs for extra seating. They stack and they don't visually compete with my queen Anne dining room chairs.
