Blender Modeling tutorial showing you how to use the latest Adaptive Subdivision.
In this example, I used a Quixel Megascans material to showcase a workflow on how to achieve a good displacement result.

😀if anybody wants to make their workflow on this quicker all you have to do is install the Node Wrangler add-on for blender and then select your principled BDSF shader and click control shift T of course after you've enabled the add on in preferences and it will load all these nodes up including the displacement node... You have to name them appropriately and that information you will find after you've installed the add on and you click the little tiny triangle that's all under the name of the add on in preferences

was also going to comment about the node wrangler XD but overall easy and quick how to

i wish blender would steal the displacement system in octane where you don't need subdivison at all and you get a better result ,cool video !

yea that would be awesome, the blender version feels alot slower

Hello! as soon as I turn on the reaction to the group, when rendering, the error "The system does not work with the graphics processor" pops up, although everything is fine in the viewport shading. as soon as I turn off the disturbing subdivision, the rendering goes well.

@@artemryakin6214 Yea that is weird, make sure you have all new drivers and updates, and have you tried a new version of blender?
Try also a new dummy file to make sure its not a corrupt file or something

Hi Jay, if I wanted to "Apply" the Subdivision Surface modifier, so I can export the model, how would I do that? Or do I need to use a completely different method? I noticed that "Apply" causes the Adaptive effect to disappear.

Hi Milena, thanks for the comment!
Make sure you apply and have enough geo for it to apply to, let me know if this makes sense
