    Finally a review showing everything you need to know, I just don’t get it why you can make the setup on the phone but you need to go press the button. That means you can’t go to the store and leave the food on the tray, so when you are returning you can just start it and have the food ready when you arrive. Everything else looks pretty solid to me

      @@lords-electrical It arrived today, following your review. I think it's great and much better than the Tefal one I had to return (which sounded like a 747 taking off). I'm sure I shall enjoy using it.

    I am in the UK and yes we are in for a hell of a ride on our energy bills. I have one being delivered today. Same brand as yours only a 5.5L with front display. It can link up to the Wi-Fi I’ll see how that goes. I have enough problems with sorting both my phone and laptop I have to get help from either my granddaughter’s or my son in which case I get a lecture or O no not again remark.
    Thanks for your video found it helpful.
    Take care.

      I have had one for maybe two years. Fantastic, internal size is fantastic. As most of the time cooking for myself, I use a pot, ceramic or metal, to cook in, I use a silicone mat under anything I put I put inside - benefit, only have to take out the dish and wash in the sink. (no fat or bits to clean out of little holes) even quicker and easier than using the basket. works well 4 me.

    my first air fryer is coming in today--that very one in that color in fact--and i know zero about cooking. i've been researching for days now and all the books and videos and descriptions and recipes assume a level of how cooking works that i don't possess. i especially have questions about using a silicone basket inside the supplied basket or using aluminum foil to coat the bottom so you could catch all that bacon grease and not have to clean that up which is a nightmare. could you put a drumstick into a silicon basket liner instead of on that plate or would that restrict the airflow so that it wouldn't come out crispy? loads of such questions and no answers yet--i guess they are too stupid for anyone to consider addressing. anyway, tks for the great video--of the dozens i've watched on youtube this is about the best unboxing/initial operation one and i loved that you played the clueless user by simply bunging in some meat and starting the app because that was the selling point for me--not to have to add stuff or bread stuff or indeed do any prep/extra work at all and if all it does is 'fry' bags of frozen stuff from the grocery it will be worth it for me. there's a very enterprising lady with dozens and dozens of helpful videos, but even her easy ones start above my paygrade. she has an online store and dozens of links to products and sells a book which she wants $30 for or $20 for a kindle ebook and i bought that but the font was miniscule and i couldn't enlarge it so thankfully amazon let me return it. /guy

    We all love a bacon sandwich, what do you think if you was cooking say 6 rashers of bacon at one time ? or would the ones in the middle not cook properly.
    Keep the videos coming

    • @lords-electrical

      I could try that, but i cant help but feel it would take a long time to cook as you would have to keep separating them and rotating them in the air fryer

      @@lords-electrical cut them in half and lay out, may have to do 2 sessions. I do this all the time, I have the 5.5 but the same principle. i may start with ribeye, and bacon, then later add eggs on top experiment, its great

    I prefer the clicked in basket of other brands. Get the same fat draining but when you tip out the fries the crisper plate doesn't drop out! I also prefer the controls to be on the front rather than on top. Quite funny "lets do it from the app" which then tells you to start using a button on the air fryer! I think in general air fryers are a great idea and mine gets constant use its just personal preference for the details.

    • @alternistronx
      @alternistronx Год назад +4

      The app asks you to press the button to start due to EU (I know he isnt EU but idk) regulations. In the US this can be done entirely on the app. Its a shame but safety regulations are sometimes a "disadvantage" I guess

    Thanks for the review. Honestly I think Cosori are misleading everyone and conning people with the 3.8l model. You would think the 3.8l model is perfect for people with smaller kitchens. But it is literally the same dimensions as the 4.7l model but just has a smaller basket inside.
