    While I’m waiting the 6-8 weeks for my replacement Cosori (with the recall), I ordered this model. And, while I waiting for that to arrive, I found you! I paid $177 Canadian, including duty, delivery and taxes. I like the look of it and figure I will use it in my travel trailer when my full-size one arrives. Thanks for filling my obsession void and keeping it real! 😁

    HI Great review,one question you did put the wings in with no seasoning right? they looked quite brown after the cook time which is great!

    13:48 😊Please don’t dismiss the app and use with an Echo as “novelties.” For those of us with no sight, the app and Echo are the ONLY way we can successfully use the air fryers that come with a touch-sensitive screen, no tactile and/or pressure-sensitive “buttons. I have suggested to the company that they produce a tactile overlay, available on request, that could be adhered over the controls. It would be helpful if you would make some videos using an Echo so that those of us who depend upon non-visual techniques could learn how to best use this little dynamo! Thanks, your videos are fun, and I enjoy the banter. Please be aware of people without sight listening to your videos, and articulate which “buttons” you are using.

    could this size be enough for a small family of 4 ? (fries, nuggets, etc), because the design is very compact and I would like to avoid getting the 5Q. Thanks

      Hey there, this one is pretty small. Depending on the age of your kids, you may find it is not big enough. My boys are 12 and 11 and are developing big appetites, this wouldn’t cut it for me. That’s my thoughts. Marc

    dude! you didn't read far enough in the guide because it says only one layer of food in the basket, not to fill the basket up. i estimate you overloaded the fries by at least 3 dozen. you think that's why all of it didn't cook? but i'm not one to talk--i got mine 3 weeks ago and i'm still scared to cook anything in it. /guy

    • @TheAverageKitchen
      @TheAverageKitchen  Год назад +4

      Haha well in fairness, 1) we realized that later, 2) they did still cook, and 3) who would want just the one later of fries?? Thanks for watching! - J

      @@TheAverageKitchen lol! it's just that i've never cooked so i've watched just about every single air fryer video on youtube and found that no two people agree on things i have questions about. but seeing you dump in a whole bag of fries startled me because i'm used to seeing videos where they could nearly use a tweezer to put them in one by one and make sure none of the them touched. so of course i questioned what use was taking 25 minutes to cook 10-12 fries! :) /guy
      ps: you beat out my previous hero, the bloke in the uk who was doing an unboxing and unceremoniously chucked like a single 2-3 pound chunk of bacon in.
      oh, and btw, cosori had some sales the last two weeks and you could get one for $75USD. i paid $79 for mine before those sales started and i think it's the bargain of the century.

      @@TheAverageKitchen i'm subscribed to you now and if you do more videos on this or any air fryer, i'd dearly like to know whether i can cook everything in a silicone basket to avoid much cleanup. and if so, whether i should leave the crisper out or put it below or above the basket. if above i might be able to double layer some small stuff. tks!
      you can't tell me that avoiding cleanup isn't an average kitchen guy thing! :) /guy

      I just bung them in and it all comes out good. I just cooked 4 lamb chops with loads of pots on top to make roast potatoes and just stirred them about all came out crispy out of my speedi, it’s just a cooker don’t be afraid of it.

    Honestly, I have a toaster oven that can do everything an air fryer can do so I'm wondering why people buy them. I use my toaster oven to cook all sorts of things, including the foods that the air fryer can cook. Why should I buy one?

      Pro chef here. This is the dumbest, most ‘amateur cook’ comment in the history of air fryers. If you need a window, then the lack of one isn’t the problem.
