Yeah but there was still a war going on in another country in Germany terrorism and the drug wars crack epidemic in the 80s this was the 1980s so there was still crime going on and killings and murders going on somewhere in the United States not just in Memphis

31:02 Love the news close and the news closing music. I hate that Scripps sold this station. 5 was number 1 in Mermphis in the 80s. Now it is Channel 3. Brenda Wood & Dave Brown have retired. Big Jack is long gone away. TV5 & NBC was the station to watch in the Memphis area back then.
