Still can't match Activa in 2 things 1.Reliable engine ( iam using a bs3 2015 model , no issues till now , it takes all the throttle inputs happily, gives decent mileage and very low maintainance cost - typical Honda) 2. Sales ( Jupiter might have features a lot but still people choose Activa , but the current day activa aren't that good , but I don't know , no scooter can't catch up to Activa in sales , despite the worst point of activa is the front suspension and most rivals are providing better , no matter what people choose activa😂)

Very nice and professional explanation. Tvs is launching jupiter 110 on 22nd august with the same design as J125. Would be great to see a video by you on that.
Man what an outstandingly unique review, Shumi! A class above the rest, just like the Jupiter. Please do a comparo between the Hero Xtreme 125R and the TVS Raider.
We have TVS Jupiter, needed another but now compact one for mum, ended up again TVS, Zest 110! The design and power it draws for its size!, TVS is on to something🚀
Your review comes on the cusp of the launch of Jupiter 110 Facelift. This is either very smart move from TVS by getting Jupiter 110 in conversation through your channel or your appreciation for a good scooter could come at a worst time when the same model will make way for a completely new one in coming days.
@@motorinc Thanks for your reply. TVS authorized centers felt okayish for me, though no major issues. Once your free service lapses, find a good mechanic nearby.

My confusion is should I go with 110cc bikes or scooters? Easy to handle, maneuver and gear less. Looking for my bro who is beginner and learner, not over speeding, not handicapped but have a personal issues. That's why I'm confused, stressed he's should not fall on 2wheeler. In 110cc bikes which is better; splendor vs passion vs tvs star city Plus vs tvs Radeon vs tvs sport vs shine 100 vs Honda livo, cd dream In 110cc scooters- activa 6g (can wait for 7g or activa ev) vs tvs jupiter vs Dio 110cc vs hero xoom vs Bajaj chetak? I've already told my requirement and kinda confused for him. I know Honda is long term usage, reliable, cheap to maintain and not gonna brokedown. But considering hero, tvs because maybe it's easy to handle, maneuver, lightweight for him but i don't know it's reliability and long term usage.... So please tell which is better, should I go with the scooters or bike? and any owners of upper suggested bikes here? Please share your review and view and make video on my topic 🙏🏻
First think when activa born in 2000 and when Jupiter born in 2015 I think I don't own that i have access but I have ridden all 3 scooters Jupiter is seriously a good one in comfort suspension riding dynamics big tyres in rear it is more fun to ride compared to Activa and access is on another league that is a different scooter
I love everything about this video. Never expected such levels of relaxation from a scooter review. Although I must sat, y'all need to get a better microphone that captures higher quality audio. On the other hand. As a student who rides a 2022 jupiter 110 myself, I feel like it's a scooter that provides everything one could want in a scooter. I hope the suspension and the seats are better in the newer version compared to what I have. Also, the paint on this thing is a scratch magnet. The slightest scrape can produce some highly visible scratches.
I have bought a TVS Jupiter 110 XConnect something(The same which is in the video) to by Dad, he loved it. Before buying it I have listed some of the commuter scooters like Activa(Doesn't have disc brake and digital speedometer), Maestro, Access 125(Doesn't have all in one lock like Jupiter), Jupiter 125(it looked like Hero Pleasure to me) and then the Jupiter 110. Finally I have decided to bring the Jupiter 110 home. I bought it for around 1.08 L on-road in 2022 Sep in AP. This is a really good scooter with good looks and performance and gets a mileage of about 43 kmpl. Though it has bluetooth connectivity which no one uses I only considered it as it has a fully digital speedometer and disc brake which Activa doesn't have. But the TVS's service is not at all up to the mark. We have taken the AMC up to next year March. TVS is producing good vehicles and should definitely concentrate on it's service. Even the flagship vehicles like RR310's and RTR310's owners were getting disappointed by their service.
@Motornic team.. Kudos.. Great review as usual. Spl shoutout to Shumi and Karthick for their unique and classic review.. Would like to see ur review of new Jupitar 110.. pls....
Went riding to the kodai hills during the independence day long weekend and i found Jupiters all over the hills..carrying people and produce.. Such a versatile scooter. i had one which i sold off three years back and it felt like a peppy bike guised as a family scooter. Yes ,the TVS service was horrible and i used to get oil changed at the neighbourhood workshop.
I too am confused between both. Earlier I was about to buy access 125 but the deal & the service center is 100 kms away from my home so dropped the idea.
As a proud owner of Jupiter bs4 and not so proud owner of bs6 2.0 let me share a quick review with you. Pros:- 1) Good suspension compared to other rivals 2) Good amount of options as Jupiter 110 offer 5-6 variants 3) Braking is really impressive I mean if I just apply front brakes also then also it is very easily balanced. 4) Mileage in bs4 was good but in bs6 in eco mode it gives 45kmpl while company claims 55-60 but on highway I got 68kmpl mileage also and I have tested it not kidding. Cons:- 1) Poor resale value 2) Pathetic service I have faced this in each and every service centre of my city 3) Both front and rear shock absorber starts to make weird airy types noise after 6-7 months( faced it in both scooters especially rear shock absorber, in front it can be cleared with greasing the brake wires) 4) Less power but gives more mileage and not so sporty look 5) Engine is less reliable starts to make weird noise at high speed or after 10k+ kms. 6) Tyre and brake pades wearing is very much, and its a very big issue.
@@motorinc They were like leave your scooter here we will manage but they will just to regular service and charge you for it if it's not free. I have had terrible experience in 1st service they overtightened the front brakes, no proper cleaning of vehicle and have not removed service indicater also.
I have been riding TVS Ntorq for quite a long time and have had a little time with this beauty. It made me fell in love with scooter riding. The seat comfort, Handling and the suspension, everything made it better on Bangalore roads. My friend who owned Activa for a longer time loves to ride Jupiter. N probably you're the only ppl who make such a grand review on scooter. It feels like a poetry. Kudos to you man. A big shoutout to you and your team. Vanilla Ice cream hit me on spot🎉🎉🎉❤❤
the alloy wheels on the Jupiter makes it look so distinct, that was one of the reasons that made me buy it. Most of the scootys in the market don't give alloy wheels.
I Have a TVS scooty streak (2012) Odo - 50k + km still running great and easy to work on. That thing is reliable enough to take you from one place to another. Rebuilted engine - 2 times (because of my fault) I have raced with many activa's and have also won 😂. Its handles well and it is also comfortable, I don't think it going to die any time soon. And yeah guys Can you recommend me a 160cc bike for college going purpose. It just have to be powerful as well as fuel efficient, light weight, easy on pocket and handles well. My budget is 1.6L (not stretchable)
This scooter has potential to beat Activa one day if they are serious but currently is manufactured only in Hosur. They must start production in Mysore and then the demand can be met. Really great scooter no quality issues so you can ignore the service experience. I personally do the service. Iam very happy with my purchase and i wish to keep it for many years.
TVS had the wego a few years ago, same engine, suspension feels exactly like the one you described, decent quality, reliable but customers always wanted a family scooter that looks like THE FAMILY SCOOTER. So, naturally TVS was left with no choice but at least they've made it look classy
I've owned the Jupiter for about 6 years now. I've ridden the Activa and other scooters too but there's definitely a better sense of ease and control and handling in the Jupiter
I've been a proud owner of Jupiter 110 since 2014. It has clocked 93k kilometres on odo without any major issues. The engine is still peppy and the maintenance is absolutely negligible. While purchasing the scooter I did lots of research. Jupiter has offered a telescopic fork, alloy wheels and 12 inch rear tyre in their standard version from the beginning. Activa started offering telescopic forks from the last few years and it still rides on a 10 inch tyre at the rear. Jupiter is truly VFM as I spent only 62 thousand rupees then for my purchase & in the last 10 years it proved itself as a reliable companion.
Been using one since 6 years and 60,000 odd kms. Man its a workhorse and a great one. Had discussed few recurring issues i faced over the period about the CVT and carburettor with Shumi as I love the product but after facing recurring issues I also had some trust issues. Maybe mine was one off manufacturing case but lets see if I gather the thoughts and courage to buy one more once the current one sees the end of its life. Went to service center for formality services which are recommended but after that, never felt like going there again and recently started servicing at my trusted ktm adv mechanic, since then its been kind of a rebirth. But surely feels better seeing all those activas out there and around, and sitting on something different. Although number of jupiters now are already competing with activas on the road.
I have jupiter first gen and at that time tvs gave it some amazing features like telescopic suspension, external fuel cap, big tyres, good headlight, and a grunty engine. Mine is running still smooth, no issues, great build quality unlike the activa with cheap plastics dash board panel getting black to white within 10 months. Even the stand is so sturdy and casted. Very smooth ride unlike activa jurky and bouncy ride. Wide handle bar unlike activas squeezed handle, nicer seats, good mirrors, bigger boot, practical and wide front space, bigger pillion seat. Comparing this with activa 4g bcos I have both. My Activa 4g is out of its shape at present but jupiter is still intact and growling. Jupiter struggled in the starting year with all these plus point but now it's the 2nd best seller so it's a good thing Can't tell what current activa is providing. But still belive jupiter will be more vfm. Unless u are bhed chall buyer.

Thank you for watching @anupshete1234. Glad to hear from an owner.
well i have to say it again,, love the music selection of by your team , it uplifts the mood , matlab, why i enjoyed watching a review of a scooter...for that i had to rewatch it - and it was due to music selection in background, plus your review style, i just watched review of jupiter that too two times in a row , of a scooty which we had a few years ago...nice job motorinc, i don't know your secret recipe of video making- but its good..fun to watch
Thank you very much for watching @Keshavkumar-nq2lg!
Your voice is so relaxing.
Very nice and professional explanation.
Tvs is launching jupiter 110 on 22nd august with the same design as J125. Would be great to see a video by you on that.
Great review, Shumi.
Can you please review the Suzuki Burgman Street.
I'm driving the first Gen TVS Jupiter 110 for the past 10 years🎉
2 weeks too soon? Eagerly awating the new Jupiter review :)
Love the cozy background music ❤️ keep it up!
Glad you liked it @jeetanshu2545!
Man what an outstandingly unique review, Shumi! A class above the rest, just like the Jupiter.
Please do a comparo between the Hero Xtreme 125R and the TVS Raider.
Poetic, and impressive for the initial part where it's the cons comes first
Thanks for watching @-humsafar.
Crisp, short, precise but expansive. That's a tough one to crack. Well done MotorInc and Shumi 👍
Thank you @shantanu_d!
We have TVS Jupiter, needed another but now compact one for mum, ended up again TVS, Zest 110! The design and power it draws for its size!, TVS is on to something🚀
Glad to hear from an owner @JatinV1! How has been their service for you?
Your review comes on the cusp of the launch of Jupiter 110 Facelift.
This is either very smart move from TVS by getting Jupiter 110 in conversation through your channel or your appreciation for a good scooter could come at a worst time when the same model will make way for a completely new one in coming days.
time will tell
Jupitar king of scooters hands down.
Used Jupiter for my everyday commute for years it never have it ever gave me any major issue and it looks kinda cute.
Still own Jupiter from 2015, it still runs smooth and it has got decent power output too. Never felt like replacing with a new scooter.
How has the TVS service been for you @sagarkorde?
@@motorinc Thanks for your reply. TVS authorized centers felt okayish for me, though no major issues. Once your free service lapses, find a good mechanic nearby.
I searched for Jupiter review video in entire list and booked 125cc hoping that it will be a good family scooter and there you go you uploaded one..
Now I can peacefully wait for delivery.😄
This is the 110 though, Roshan. The 125 review is in the works
@@motorinc - Eagerly waiting for your Jupiter 125 review. Please do a head-on-head comparison between Jupiter 125 & Access 125 and address the common concerns in Jupiter125 - 1. Front fueling setup being unsafe and overflow when filling petrol; 2 - Chrome finish getting worn off easily within a year. .... Please acknowledge 😁
The wardrobe, the music, his love for Honda activa, this all makes makes this video flow smoothly,
TVS jupiter 110 is the benchmark, we definitely need more good looking scooters in India.
Thanks @kaustubh_kp!
Hey guys when can we expect full length videos on BASALT, THAR ROXX and CURVV EV, eagerly waiting for those videos. Great video by the way.
Thanks JJ! All in the works, all being lined up for the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
....please make video on maha comparison video of 110cc scooters vs bikes. Requirements: For beginners, Daily City commute and sometimes weekend long ride once in while. easy to handle, maneuver, long term usage, reliable, smooth and easy to maintain?
My confusion is should I go with 110cc bikes or scooters? Easy to handle, maneuver and gear less. Looking for my bro who is beginner and learner, not over speeding, not handicapped but have a personal issues. That's why I'm confused, stressed he's should not fall on 2wheeler.
In 110cc bikes which is better; splendor vs passion vs tvs star city Plus vs tvs Radeon vs tvs sport vs shine 100 vs Honda livo, cd dream
In 110cc scooters- activa 6g (can wait for 7g or activa ev) vs tvs jupiter vs Dio 110cc vs hero xoom vs Bajaj chetak?
I've already told my requirement and kinda confused for him. I know Honda is long term usage, reliable, cheap to maintain and not gonna brokedown. But considering hero, tvs because maybe it's easy to handle, maneuver, lightweight for him but i don't know it's reliability and long term usage.... So please tell which is better, should I go with the scooters or bike?
and any owners of upper suggested bikes here? Please share your review and view
and make video on my topic 🙏🏻
The irony is "Masters of benchmarking" or the 'new benchmark' is still chasing the Activa.. so I wonder who the 'Ultimate benchmark' is !! 😏
Chasing, yes. But only in sales, Kishan
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 tvs destroyed in secs
I love everything about this video. Never expected such levels of relaxation from a scooter review. Although I must sat, y'all need to get a better microphone that captures higher quality audio.
On the other hand. As a student who rides a 2022 jupiter 110 myself, I feel like it's a scooter that provides everything one could want in a scooter. I hope the suspension and the seats are better in the newer version compared to what I have. Also, the paint on this thing is a scratch magnet. The slightest scrape can produce some highly visible scratches.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and feedback @rockasstley7917.
Thanks for sharing @harshchhilakamarri! We agree, TVS need to improve their service.
@Motornic team.. Kudos.. Great review as usual. Spl shoutout to Shumi and Karthick for their unique and classic review.. Would like to see ur review of new Jupitar 110.. pls....
Noted @george983
Went riding to the kodai hills during the independence day long weekend and i found Jupiters all over the hills..carrying people and produce.. Such a versatile scooter.
i had one which i sold off three years back and it felt like a peppy bike guised as a family scooter. Yes ,the TVS service was horrible and i used to get oil changed at the neighbourhood workshop.
Oh man what a review 😅 i am in love with all the vehicles you review 😅 I want to buy all of them ❤
Well... Thank you Vishnu but seriously, don't!
@@motorinc No not one lifeto do so much I will chose wisely 😉
Came here to see a movie scene, saw Lord Shumi's video on main screen skipped movie and watching this now. Take a bow sir :)
Wow! Thanks very much @feelhaal6643!
Please make detailed vidoe on New Jupiter 110 2024 which launched few days ago...Eagerly waiting to buy.
Your style of presentation is very professional very nice❤
Thank you @NihalDimbar.
As always, another no nonsense & super content video. If possible, could you pls do a comparison between Jupiter's 110 and 125. Thank you!!
I too am confused between both.
Earlier I was about to buy access 125 but the deal & the service center is 100 kms away from my home so dropped the idea.
As a proud owner of Jupiter bs4 and not so proud owner of bs6 2.0 let me share a quick review with you.
Pros:-
1) Good suspension compared to other rivals
2) Good amount of options as Jupiter 110 offer 5-6 variants
3) Braking is really impressive I mean if I just apply front brakes also then also it is very easily balanced.
4) Mileage in bs4 was good but in bs6 in eco mode it gives 45kmpl while company claims 55-60 but on highway I got 68kmpl mileage also and I have tested it not kidding.
Cons:-
1) Poor resale value
2) Pathetic service I have faced this in each and every service centre of my city
3) Both front and rear shock absorber starts to make weird airy types noise after 6-7 months( faced it in both scooters especially rear shock absorber, in front it can be cleared with greasing the brake wires)
4) Less power but gives more mileage and not so sporty look
5) Engine is less reliable starts to make weird noise at high speed or after 10k+ kms.
6) Tyre and brake pades wearing is very much, and its a very big issue.
Thanks for sharing @TyroneYT31. How helpful was the authorised service centre with all these concerns?
@@motorinc They were like leave your scooter here we will manage but they will just to regular service and charge you for it if it's not free. I have had terrible experience in 1st service they overtightened the front brakes, no proper cleaning of vehicle and have not removed service indicater also.
@@motorinc Their Twitter is always flooded with such issues
I have both activa and Jupiter and can confidently say i like my Jupiter wayy better had no problems
What dramatic scooter review! Superb.
Thanks for watching @skpaanda
I have been riding TVS Ntorq for quite a long time and have had a little time with this beauty. It made me fell in love with scooter riding. The seat comfort, Handling and the suspension, everything made it better on Bangalore roads. My friend who owned Activa for a longer time loves to ride Jupiter. N probably you're the only ppl who make such a grand review on scooter. It feels like a poetry. Kudos to you man. A big shoutout to you and your team. Vanilla Ice cream hit me on spot🎉🎉🎉❤❤
Thanks for watching @likhithgp9944!
the alloy wheels on the Jupiter makes it look so distinct, that was one of the reasons that made me buy it. Most of the scootys in the market don't give alloy wheels.
Thanks for sharing Naresh! How has the service been for you?
I am Jupiter owner from last 10 years works flawlessly....
I have been waiting for this video for so long , 2 hours back only I had booked access 125 , now i opened RUclips this video uploaded 2 hours back...
Congratulations @nandhaadoc! We wish you an awesome time with the Access!
Yes 100 percent, I owned one before mine was stolen, but I didn't buy it again. Bought an Activa.
Reason - Zero aftersale support/service.
A very practical solid city commuter. I preferred this over an Activa.
Thanks for letting us know!
I Have a TVS scooty streak (2012)
Odo - 50k + km still running great and easy to work on.
That thing is reliable enough to take you from one place to another.
Rebuilted engine - 2 times (because of my fault)
I have raced with many activa's and have also won 😂.
Its handles well and it is also comfortable,
I don't think it going to die any time soon.
And yeah guys
Can you recommend me a 160cc bike for college going purpose.
It just have to be powerful as well as fuel efficient, light weight, easy on pocket and handles well.
My budget is 1.6L (not stretchable)
I love the look of the 125 in the matte grey
Thanks for letting us know!
Its time to compare shumi's fav access 125 with new jupiter 110 and jupiter 125..Please do soon
Shumi has ridden all three and still rates the Access as his pick out of the three @Gananathan_K. As he says in the video too.
@@motorinc but new jupiter 110 launched after this post right?
Eagerly waiting for guerilla 450 first ride review 🥲🥲🥲
Thank you for waiting @turtle8386.
Using the Jupiter 110 since 2017. Over 50k on the odometer. Hands down a most reliable and good scooter. Still gives 50+ km/L in solo rides.
Soo good absolutely love the video and the style ❤
Thank you @rajeshbhatia6109!
I got one on rent to sightseeing Chikmagalur, was very impressed by its capabilities
Sightseeing on a scooter? Hell yeah!
Skill issue in ghat section 😂 also I can buy things on the road and keep it safely under the seat. @@motorinc
TVS had the wego a few years ago, same engine, suspension feels exactly like the one you described, decent quality, reliable but customers always wanted a family scooter that looks like THE FAMILY SCOOTER. So, naturally TVS was left with no choice but at least they've made it look classy
Thanks for sharing @ashfaqali9324!
Thanks for making video on SCOOTER ❤
Thank you for watching @prasunbhowmicj7243!😊
I've owned the Jupiter for about 6 years now. I've ridden the Activa and other scooters too but there's definitely a better sense of ease and control and handling in the Jupiter
I have a Activa of 2001 make . It still runs 25 km daily with a minimum of Fuss Sound and Maintenance
Great review
Thanks for watching @SamS-wx9fx
Wow, what was this! I am not even in the market to get a scooter and I now want a Jupiter
😅
Guys... Please also Compare 6/7 year old Activa and Jupiters and see.
Thanks for sharing @kiranbhabal3329! Glad to hear from an owner.
Activa 125 or Jupiter or actress 125??? Please suggest which should i buy for father, who is 67 years old.
Oh and I forgot one thing, the petrol cap opening impression by Shumi was spot on 😆😆
🤣 Thanks for sharing @omcarrides! Having your own trusted third party mechanic is indeed magical, eh?
Extremely insightful Video. Make one for Access 125 as well.
Noted @OhCrap247!
great video as always.
please make a video on access 125
Request noted!
Waiting for something on BSA Goldstar 650. Is the single cylinder really that big of an issue?
We need a very very very detailed review video on BSA gold star 650
I love the fact that Schumi's outfit matches the colour of the scooter. Motorinc surely are the masters of subtlety.
Thank you very much @varunkapur5640.
