In this tutorial you'll learn how to make an origami Cockatiel step by step. This is a small parrot with a distinctive crest and it's also known as weiro bird or quarrion.

I DID IT! I made it with 15x15cm red and black paper. I did everything except the feet color switch thing. Those folds were too small for the paper size I chose. Other than that, it looks fantastic! Thanks so much for the cockatiel Jo! Or in my case, a cardinal! Hahaha

I love this piece, is not very complex, but you need a lot of patient and be very carefull to make the fingers. I made it in almost one hour and a half. I'm very proud. Also, as all your videos, the instructions are very clear, but sometimes in this video you don't show the paper once a step is made, but apart from that, perfect.
I disagree, it is the most complex thing I've ever seen and it is impossible 😂

As per your advice I acquired some foil paper from the French origami shop. You weren't kidding when you said it's good paper. Wow!!! I still had trouble with the feet on 20x20 cm but the paper did not tear or anything.

Last step with the feet I was like "WTF?". Seriously? just flat with two fingers? Not sure if I like that step that much, but the rest of the model was pretty ok, I liked the similarity with other birds, makes it easier to follow. Overall, I liked the model, can't wait to try it out with some better-quality paper :D

@@Duilio_Lage varia dependendo do pedido. Acho que começa em uns 9 euros se for poucos papéis. Se pedir livros pode ficar mais de 20. Você pode colocar os produtos no carrinho e ir em finalizar pedido só pra ver quanto vai ser o frete
