Big coffee fan here. I ditched the press, pour over , everything and went instant. There are some amazing instant coffees. So much nicer in the camper, boil water, done. No mess, less to pack
We tried some on our latest off road adventure and it went really smooth. We tried a couple different brands and it was so much easier to clean up. Tasted okay too.
Mt Hagen, Waka, and Black Coffee Roasting Co are my best bang for the buck “go to’s” give them a try@@McSpeedAlaskanAdventures
We went instant ...Nestle Gold is the best we found so far in Europe...we have 2 Turkish coffee pot style boilers, often called Ibrik or Cezve ...1 electric & 1 for propane
Awesome adventure. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you. Just got back from Denali. First two night trip in the camper. Went great. Can’t wait to finish the video edit and share
That's a berry nice video. 😁
It really was bitter sweet. Nikki said it rocked (because all the rocks). But over all very punny.
Your dogs are so cute. Love the location.
Thank you! They are our four legged furry toddlers.
Nice video truly enjoyed it.
Thank you. I’m trying to improve the quality of my videos and of course balance a full time job and life outside of RUclips. I went to a higher resolution camera setting and microphone system and a higher resolution upload. Now that I’ve done that I am learning more about editing. Hopefully they all get better and better. Thanks again! It means a lot to me and if you take the time to watch I want it to be quality.
Wow-we wowie wow wow! Tips for cleaning French press... leave in bottom drawer next to grinder and learn to like instant coffee.
I like the way you think! That thing is such a mess to clean up. But the coffee tastes so good.
@@McSpeedAlaskanAdventures I woulda just cleaned it in that river if I didn't just jump to instant sludge
@@tashatorrid actually the next morning we broke down and used the press and we cleaned it in the river. Now…if we always had a river close that isn’t frozen over that would do the trick!!!!!
Awesome!!!
Was that JUFFY POP POPCORN? I HAVEN'T SEEN THAT IN YEARS.😉😍😍😍😍
Yep. It was delicious too!!!!
I've resorted to pouring over. Each person gets a fresh filter and coffee grounds then toss the filter. I use the wire coffee filter holder from REI. It's so easy. The next easiest I've encountered is the aero press. All the grounds and filters get pushed out the end and wipe it dry for next time.
That is great to hear. How is the taste of the pour over in terms of flavor? The press is really delicious. Just messy as we noted.
I love it and don't feel there is any sacrifice. I know do it every day at home too.@@McSpeedAlaskanAdventures
@@ADVENTUREAROUNDTHEBEND that’s all I need to know. I’ll look into a pour over.
Looks like you camped where we exit out from the Baldy challenge
I have been trying to figure out that spot. That is awesome. I think the best way for me to do the baldy challenge is to ride shotgun with you and be your camera man. I am positive my truck with the terrible in mud tires would spend the whole time being winched out.
