I love this quirkyness channel...and both of you blend well. Rowan is like a naughty fairy and sparkles ! The humour is great...My favourite spread ? Shippam's Chicken Paste !
Black Cherry Jam all day everyday! The Spitfire was probably the one that you can take rides in from Lee on Solent - something like £4000 for half an hour! Flew low over Yarmouth Pier when I was last there (April last year). I do love your IOW walks Marek - I can't afford to visit atm, so these's walks always lift my spirits!
Rowan + Walking + Marek laughing + IOW + Cows = Jolly Good Fun 😄(Couldn't do a Rowan Emoji but maybe one day she will get one eh?) So, for the time being she is being immortalised as a big smiley face! P.S. Lemon Curd or Peanut Butter for me please 🍋🥜x J x
It looked like Rowan was keeping some strawberry laces in the side pocket of her rucksack for quick deployment. Best spread has to be Marmite, though it's not great on many cakes, maybe a scone? My mum used to give me sandwiches with Shipham's Sardine and Tomato paste which wasn't too bad.
This is one of our favourite walks, never fails to lift the spirits. It’s such beautiful scenery! Always really enjoy the Marek and Rowan walks. Particularly enjoy to see what you’ve each brought along for lunch The painting is a stunner Oh yes, favourite spread - got to be Marmite (Vegemite will do too), on its own or with peanut butter and/or a bit of chilli for a kick. Stay cool!
That looks my kind of walk! I'm a Helloer too, it's just nice, people often spring into life and everyone has a nice time. I guessed £1.5M as everything is mental now. Spread? Patak's Brinjal Pickle, it's a sweetish curry flavour and YUM!
Crunchy peanut butter. I like it so much I can't buy it. Or that strong spreadable cheese in a tub (that probably isn't even cheese). I can't buy that either. Lovely walk, cool dudes... crazy (but great) that there were so few other people.
Beautiful blue skys and the audio for the spitfire was better than lots of aviation enthusiasts! Great job Marek, and some funny laughs from Rowan. Stay Cool Dudes 👍
Incredible, I've never heard anyone ask about one eating one jam/spread and discussing how it also affects cake and all foods that include spread. Fantastic video for that thought provoking twist alone. Brings a whole new dimension.
That was a great walk guys, loved that one. Lovely to have Rowan back again too. 😃👍 I had to snigger at the double entendres. 😲🫣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Great fun. We were at the Needles on the 1st August to watch the Firework display. To be fair, I've never eaten a Jam I didn't like. 😳 Marmalade is probably my favourite though. We did your Firestone Copse walk whilst on the Island, really enjoyed it. 😃👍 Love the channel. Stay cool, cool dude number 1. 😄
Haven’t been up on Headen Warren since I was on a school trip to Totland Youth Hostel we went up to the Coastguard station at the Needles way back in 1979 when I was 11. My favourite spread is either marmalade, lemon curd or smooth peanut butter 😀
@@cdwc I see you did Norfolk at one point (where I am) have you done the Cromer to Sherringham walk? It starts really hopeful... gets boring for about five miles where it all looks the same but picks up in the end. 2/3 of that could also describe the new govenment we have. I will let you pick what parts
Another classic, enhanced by Rowan. Your laugh at the and of the b&b story was brilliant. As for spreads, marmite or a left field sandwich spread from childhood. Always a kids crowd pleaser, with veg in! CD#123
That BnB lady’s comment rivals the woman who tried to console you about a painting by saying it still serves as a memory aid Spread… well I do have a sweet tooth but I still lean towards savoury, so I’m gonna say smoked mackerel pate because having it on toast is one of my favourite umami snacks
Lovely walk cool dude, and nice to see Rowan too! My choice would be passionfruit curd (or damson jam, if curd isn't allowed!) My husband likes a black cherry jam, and Jude says he likes peanut butter on his toast (but he's never tried jam...) P.s I also spend far too much time on rightmove looking at expensive houses as I guessed the price of that house bang on
What's this video out of....? I will give it a 5 I guessed a cool 1.1 for the house when I saw the sea view, all the those hours watching Escape to the Country weren't wasted after all. The king of all jam is surely raspberry, great on so many things, bread, toast, scones, cakes...scakes, tarts etc. No raspberries sadly but made some blackberry and apple jam this morning the house now smells all jammy!
@@cdwc Just a quick message to say a big thank you for my parcel that arrived this morning. It has made my week after having a few bad days with ear infection and perforated eardrum - the tinnitus is driving me crazy🥴 But now I feel like am ready for adventureseven in this melty heat I'll be able to stay cool.
I had to stop myself from buying tins of chocolate and hazelnut spread as I was reluctant to buy any bread to go with it. Unlikely that the manufacturers would stop using jars that permit a spoon to dive in so, I made this tough decision. Otherwise, I'm generally strawberry jam, when I remember not to buy raspberry. But I also have an unfinished jar of apricot.
I love Jarlsberg cheese on my slices of bread ❤ Beautiful walk. I remember in 2016 walking down to Freshwatee Bay, passing a big herd of cows which was a bit scary, and finding that I was too late for the last bus back to Ryde. So I had to walk 2,5 extra kilometres to Freshwater to catch a bus. But it was a lovely walk all the way from Yarmouth all together that day, and I also had a boat trip out to the Needles from Alum Bay 🥰
I actually gave a yip of joy when I saw it was a Rowan ep. These occasional pop-ups only make me wonder why she is off in Oz so often. Perhaps she’s so chirpy it makes Marek super grumpy and Rowan has to get as far away as possible… like matter and anti-matter in a film.
Varying toast spreads is a good idea. Marmite, strawberry jam and peanut butter are consumed on weekly rotations. Sticking to the same one causes me psychological angst. Then before you know it you're committing atrocities and popping down to B & Q for a shovel, a saw and some bin bags.
Awesome walk, thanks Marek and Rowan. Definitely agree that view walking down the hill to Freshwater bay is one of my favourite views. Did you go to Dimbola cafe afterwards? Lovely coffee, cake and breakfast etc :)my favourite spread is maple syrup, yummy with butter on toast
I think I would have to go for Marmite if forced to pick one spread, with crunchy peanut butter and lemon curd as runners up (but freshly buttered toast can be enough on its own). I'm quite pleased with my choices this time. I was £50k off with the house price and right with the distance. Stay cool
That looks like a lovely walk on a lovely day (and in lovely company), so less need for after all. Let's enjoy it while it lasts! I'm tempted to pick Nutella as my one spread to rule them all, but it's probably not the best health-wise, and I wouldn't want to get sick of an otherwise lovely more occasional treat! Seedless raspberry jam probably a safer choice, and more appropriate for both cakes and toast (though for toast alone I'd pick marmite or smooth peanut butter).
Should have visited Dimbola Museum. Seen photographs taken by Margaret Cameron of Tennyson, Lewis Carroll and the real life Alice of Alice in Wonderland. Plus an exhibition of photos of the Isle of Wight festival. They have nice cakes in the café.
Not many people know that the Needles are named after the character from Back to the Future 2 and 3 played be Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Nice video cool dude. Got the house value correct.
Rowan is a ray of sunshine!
I refrained from immediately skipping to the end of the video to hear if Rowan said "How many is it out of?", Worth the wait 😂😂
She will be banned from doing that soon
Lemon Curd yummy ❤
What a lovely way to finish off my weekend.
Thank you Rowan and Marek 😊
Hope you had a good one
Kerry's plum jam!!! It's bloody lovely

Wild blueberry jam and Rowan has a lovely laugh.
YAY love Rowan!!! My spread would be raspberry seedless 😊 loving these island walks especially as I’m now living here. Must drag the family out 😊
This one is a must see. Avoid on a windy day though cool dude
Great walk and lovely to see Rowan. When I was young we used to have bread and dripping, butt now it’s strawberry jam on toast. Glad the won.
Hooray for
Omg that hotel story 10/10 I loved that big laugh soo funny...cheeky old lady
I think she did not even realise that it might be rude. Ha
Nice. Rowan is an excellent companion for these walks. I also had a strawberry jam --> raspberry jam coming of age. Your Für Elise is getting better.
I actually compared my Fur Elise and o an old one and I have got worse

Rhubarb and ginger conserve/jam is my favourite on a nice toasted crumpet. That white house was nice but the price was bonkers !
The view was pretty incredible but I agree the price was excessive.

Marmite for me if just one - I’m with Rowan on the Apricot, Black Cherry great on toast too. Nice one cool dudes

You are only allowed to choose one I am afraid. So sadly I have to put all your choices in the bin.

Worth doing although the Ryde to Cowes bit is rubbish
