I'm only at 2 minutes and 8 seconds. I usually don't tell anyone this, because I'm old ... almost 67 ... and when I do, people I've known for a long time think I'm crazy and leave my life, but I am a sensitive ... a clairvoyant...... and the love I felt from you just holding the journal in your hands and describing that it was your mother's and your grandmother was overwhelming. You are a true artist in the most literal sense. To me, art is what connects us all as human beings. My son loves Metallica heavy metal. I love John Denver and Barry Manilow. It doesn't matter, both are art that takes us away from the world and into a happy place. I just discovered your channel from your shorts video on making glassine paper, and clicked on your name to watch some videos. I have so much housework to do today, Thank God I found your video, because now I can do research instead. After almost two years of being unsettled into permanent housing, we finally came to the most perfect, wonderful home that was worth the wait. I'm going to relaunch my little channel and share channels and what I've learned from so many beautiful artists like yourself. But first, I'm going to hit subscribe and the like button. I have 80 most cherished subbies, but I need to get to a thousand. I'm so glad I found your channel. I can't wait to binge watch past videos ... what's a few dust bunnies against work research? Ha. I believe our (youtube) channels are “real” channels for something good (I know you can understand ✨) and… fun fact: I love heavy metal like your son, I saw Metallica in concert in 2004! 🙌🏻 but my favorite was and are Alice in Chains (from my beloved 90s grunge era🙌🏻) sending all the love and congrats for your new house!! hugs!

My son was goofing off in 12th grade, in jeopardy of not graduating, and this is 2009, and Metallica scheduled a concert near us. He asked for tickets I liedand told him they were sold out. I'm a single mom, wehave no other living relatives, but the venue has a program where you can pre purchase tickets before they go on sale, but they are expensive. 2 floor seat tickets were $400. And getting closer to graduation he was failing. I showed him the tickets and said uou only get these when you graduate. He hit the books. Several months later we hit the road. Another super Metallica friend went with him. They were on the phone constantly talking about what they were going g to wear. Worse than teenagers going to Justin better. When they allowed the floor seat tickets in, they literally ran to the stage and parked themselves right where they made space for the guys to walk to the stage. James Hatfield was just a few feet away. He recognized a roadie and they were talking. I don't remember his name, bit the lead guitarist with long haired signed a pick and tossed it to him. Happy days. Sorry for the too long story, but he still says one of the best days of his life.

I can't get over how much I love your 'plain' pages, how they are dyed and soft pieces of papers or fabrics are added...do you have a video on how you prepare your coffee/tea (?) dyed pages with the extra papers/collage added? They remind me of the old plaster walls in villas. I imagine paintings once 'hung' on those papers. I hope I make sense? Lol! Hugs! Sheila
