Pages with leaves held fast in their dream for us to touch yet not awaken. Inspiring words and papers that also have a voice to tell their story. Thank you for a beautiful video and flip thru of your junk journal. I loved seeing the different elements and the flips and folds and tucks and secret places! The crinkling and sliding off the paper was great too. 😊 And let me THANK YOU also for having a simple manicure! I've watched videos and tutorials before where the creator had bright nails, some garishly long, and try as I might all my eyes could see were these nails. Most were beautiful manicures but they are so out of place in tutorials and such videos. You want to show your viewers your creation, not your nails. Sure some want to show their nails too 😅 and I understand the joy of having a great manicure whether plain or bright. But I do enjoy a journal video where I don't see the nails as much as the paper and embellishments and flips and folds. I honestly didn't even notice your nails until 3/4 of the way thru the video (I checked the time) and I was impressed. Beautiful manicure, BTW. ❤

I know I watched you create every piece of art and scrap of paper, dash of paint, hand stitching, splatters of gold, dingles, dangles and Mr. Bo Jangles (kidding)… everything you put in here. You do such beautiful work and I appreciate all of it. I have learned so much from you. I can’t thank you enough. You really have to have art journaling in your heart to fall in love with the crinkling of the paper, and the colors, and imperfections,and how journaling has no real rules and pretty much anything goes meanderings. There are people who just will never get it lol. I’m turning 65 end of summer and was wondering what I’ll do when I retire. I think I now know. Thank you Barbara for this wonderful gift.

The muted colors, the grunginess, crumpled pages...I can hear the sound of paper crunching as you turn the pages and flip through the journal. I think the very last page is my favorite. What an amazing journal...so many facets to it. Its mesmerising! I'm sorry if that sounds gushy, but I can't give it enough praise. Its so beautiful and unique. Love going through it in the hope I can at least try to emulate some of the ideas in my journal. It must have taken you forever to finish, but I'm sure you enjoyed every moment. Journalling brings us to another realm. Always good to get in the zone and escape from the mundane. Well done and thanks so much for sharing. It means so much that you do.
Honestly, this is the most ginormous junk journal I’ve ever seen! It is fantastic! What is so intriguing is the duo-tone and tri-tone colors u use,all in the same blue green and brown family. Very organic feeling 🪺. I like to see other artists work to see which papers, ephemera, stencils, and methods they use. I recognize the Tim Holtz “people” die cuts as I have them too! You should be proud of your work; it is a labor of love ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I had to watch the ASMR video too just to relax. The sound of the papers is delicious. This journal has turned out so gorgeous! I do think that the few pages with nothing on them should at least have some signature gold splatters on them. 😉
How nice. no talking, just peace and quiet. I get so tired of RUclipsrs chatting about the weather, their life, their happiness or sadness. It just drives me crazy and those that giggle for no reason. thanks for the silence.

Personally I like the no talking version. it was much quicker and even then I sped it up. However, I may go back at another time when I have more time available to listen about each page. That's just my personal opinion.

I have 3 favorite things in crafting ephemera…giraffes, dragonflies, and monarch butterflies which I raised for 3 years.. 11 years ago, I rescued a big black Cat,(Bella) and I loved her so much, I added cats to my favorites as well. I lost her 1 1/2 yrs ago. Your name of course struck a chord when I saw it on LH’s video but I think I watched you awhile back sometime. I’ve been off for awhile except sporadical videos here and there. Hard to remember now. This journal is quite amazing! Enjoyed seeing it! Tfs 🤗👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🐾🐈⬛🐾
