I'll be so bold as to say not just "of this age" she is one one the greatest rock vocalists of all-time. Up there with Joan Jett. Badass and full of power.

I Miss the Misery and Amen are both given epic treatments live and can go on for over 10 minutes each in concert. Amazing guitar jams that will blow you away.
Love this band! Saw them open for Seether many years ago and she killed it! "Miss the misery" is one of my favorites!

One last thing. You have already heard Lzzy Hale before. A song called Shatter Me. She was with the violinist Lindsay Sterling.
Back probably in 2007 or 2008 I got wind of a free show in Boston, it was a band called Trapt. I liked them, so I went to it and in the opening band, all the lights went out and suddenly from the darkness this INCREDBILY POWEFUL voice sang "I'm in Love With Somebody...…..And It's Not You!" then the lights kicked on and this band blew our faces off. I saw them again open for Shinedown a year later and they were signing stuff for fans and I talked to Lzzy Hale (the leader singer) and her little brother RJ Hale (the band's drummer) and I asked them when they would put out a record and that I am blown away by their talent and performance. RJ said they are just getting rolling and its been a while. Next year (2009 I think), they dropped their first album and it did not disappoint!
We went to see Alice Cooper in concert a few years ago 7 she was his opener. We never heard of Halestorm before. but they were awesome. Lizzie controlled that stage. She rocked the house in her stiletto platforms. Lizzie Hale is the singer. Amazing!! We are new fans! Her brother Arejay Hale, her brother, is the drummer.

Halestorm is in my top 3 favorite bands. Lzzy is incredibly talented. They ALL are. But I love watching her bro on the drums. He is an amazing showman.

I've met them many times and been in 2 of their music videos, all 4 of them are just great people. And you have to see Arejay doing his drum solo with the giant drum sticks, it's so cool and unlike anything anyone else does.

Lindsey Hale "Halestorm" from York PA were playing clubs years ago as did the band i was part of when they were fortunately able to be sign to record deal. I was a fan then as i am now.
I saw this band (and this song!) live in Kansas City in early July of 22. She is pure power live. She left everything she had on the stage, too...she wasn't talking real loud afterwards. I recommend (for contrast) Here's to Us, and The Steeple for more Halestorm...

She did a song with a Mongolian band called The HU. They used a traditional song about women and she added her own lyrics over it. Please check that out. Her name is Lizzy Hale. I saw them back in 2017 and the Bands name is Halestorm.

Lzzy Hale is my favorite rocker in the 21st century, her band Halestorm is the most exciting hard rock/metal band I have heard since the early 90s Seattle bands. They are the real deal and would have been super stars in the 70s. Next try Freak Like Me, Rock Show or I Miss the Misery, all great songs and bangers. I saw them 3 times between 2016 & 2019 and they blew me away each time. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎹🎶

Well everyone is telling you about “ I miss the Misery” so I won’t. But please check out the band called “ LILIAC” A whole family of kids that turned into hard core ROCKERS. The lead singers voice is something out of ROCK GODDESS!! They have done a bunch of covers. But just recently saw they did Joan Jett’s “ I hate myself for loving you “ or Dio “Rainbow in the dark “ she is AWESOME. They’ve grown up a lot since 4 years ago. Please check them out!!!!!!

I lost my best friend a couple years ago. We had been BFFs since 9th grade. We’d been through marriages, kids, grandkids together. Our song was by Halestorm. It was called “Here’s to us”. It definitely hit home.

1. Floor Jansen emulated Lzzy Hales hard power style in her early career with ReVamp. Lzzy is credited by a lot of modern metal vocalists with being an inspiration.

You'll have to search for it but there are interviews with Floor Jansen where she states that her favorite female vocalist is Lzzy Hale and she loves the festival season because it gives her a chance to see other vocalists that she admires and Lzzy is at the top of the list because her vocal style is completely opposite of hers. Lzzy Hale and especially Beth Hart are the closest thing to Janis Joplin today!
