I also own 4 other Roja’s and at least 5 Xerjoff’s among at least 1,000 bottles of other perfumes that I have collected through the years. Now, no more expensive niche or designer perfumes for me. If I truly crave something new, it would be middle eastern. My perfume addiction has caught up with me and put me in a bad financial position.
My top 5 most expensive are: 1) Roja Parfums Chypre Extraordinaire 2) Roja Parfums PDLN2 3) Roja Parfums Amber Aoud 4) Clive Christian Rock Rose 5) Amouage Jubilation 40
Steve, thank you for the video. The Manhattan you showed is Parfum concentration, not EDT. Also, Roja Parfums produced 100 bottles (or so, based on overproduction controversy that followed), not 1000 as you mentioned.
Great video. The deeper I have gotten into fragerance over the decades the more I have realized there is a steep point of diminishing returns on price. I have some absurdly expensive bottles but with the exception of Richwood by Xerjoff nothing over 2-3 hundred has ended up being something I really love, all good, all different but nothing really incredible as of yet.
Awesome concept and video Steven. My most expensive fragrances turn out to be artisinal oud oils, none come near the $1000 price so far. Oud Ulya from Amouage retails for $590.00. That would be my most expensive I figure. I really want to sample some Roja's, as well as Bortnikoff and Areej Le Dore.
I like the new editing with the B roll of the bottles with house and name of the fragrance; some of your older videos didn't have a good way to catch the correct spelling of the brand for some of the more obscure ones. :) Congrats on the continuing evolution of your channel! Enjoy it very much.
Crazy collection! I really didn’t think Creed was going to be number 1. I thought it would have been some middle Eastern Fragrance lol. Have you ever heard of “Amaffi” fragrances,, they have a store by 5th ave,,,, the entire store has chandeliers and looks like the diamond district lol,,, the bottles start at 7,500. Supposedly they are the lost scents that hidden for years that were made specifically for Christopher Columbus
My most expensive bottle was a tester of Guerlain’s 200ml Bois d’Armenie which was around $280 if I remember correctly. I wouldn’t feel comfortable paying more than that for anything less than absolute love/must have fragrance, which I haven’t came across yet.

I had a bottle of Royal English Leather as well as many flacons of Spice and Wood, Royal Oud (bottles, not flacons), and PDM, Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait de Parfums, etc! The only one There’s only one that I have (I actually have 3 bottles of it), is Royal Mayfair that I’m holding on until eBay prices go up! What about Haute Luxe? You need to add that to your collection
In terms of retail it is Roja PDLN 2, but I lucked out and got it for half price brand new. In terms of what I paid, it is a brand new unused bottle of Areej Le Dore Antiquity I bought on eBay...I have a lot of Roja Pierre de Vela's but haven't tried the Semi Bespoke line yet. That patchouli one looks interesting.
I bought 3 pdm fragrances at retail... Pegasus exclusif the most expensive one, everything else in my collection I purchased on the gray market. I'm bargain shopper!
I’m still hopeful that I’ll find a bottle of Cry Baby in a garage sale or thrift shop 😂 I live in Miami, and those baby bottles styles are very nostalgic to many of us growing up. I KNOW someone has this stashed away and ready to get rid of it in their next garage sale 😂 🤞
