Thanks, guys. Really enjoyed listening to you both. Although, I have to say, I'm getting a little bit jealous of you Steven, getting to meet & interview these giants in the fragrance game. A great honor.
Great interview Steven, I could tell you were totally enveloped in his words and knowledge. Must've been an amazing experience! I always enjoy listening to parfumers explain the background and story of a fragrance. Thank you for bringing us a fantastic interview!
Their boutique looks so much better now than it did before. I made a comment about it in Al’s tour of the boutique and people got triggered. Glad to see the company agreed with me. Very thorough and highly entertaining interview! Thanks for sharing this with us, Steven!
I really appreciate an interview of the people or in this case person behind the scenes. It helps you connect to a fragrance more in my opinion & so much fruitful and fascinating details were shared. 🙏
I must admit I could have read a book on Fragrances, But there’s something about listening to a Master Perfumer taking us on a journey.Step by step thru his creativity and knowledge of his work. Just a pleasure to witness..Thank you Steven looks like I’m on my way to another fragrance In collection...:)...
What a great Video & Interview here, Steven!😎 You're really styling, Bro! Tons of Info here. Very cool to get to sit down face to face with a Perfumer too. Olivier Cresp is a solid, humble, & sharp guy. PDM...I really need to check out Sedley. Wearing Layton today. 😊👍👊🙌
Congrats on the interview. Some lav mics or a single mic in close proximity would go a long way to improve intelligibility, particularly in poor acoustic conditions such as this one. I had to crank the volume and work very hard to understand what was being said particularly with a non-native English speaker. Great channel and keep up the great work.
Great interview. I saw the one Carlos did as well. It is embarrassing when I smell something and say “nice or so so etc” after seeing how much thought and creative process goes into creating a fragrance.
Great interview, Steven. I'm a fan of ladies' fragrances developed by Mr Cresp, mainly Noa, one of daily fragrances of my wife. I need put my hands on PDM Sedley as soon as possible! 😄 Have a great day, my friend!
I can’t wait to try Sedley. It sounds amazing. I love the PDM house. I’ve been debating on whether to get Percival as my next purchase, but I’m going to try this first. I may pick this Sedley instead.
Nice interview and both of you looking extra crispy sharp. Not only that you looking like a professional perfumer yourself..I hope you have the opportunity one day to create you're own fragrance masterpiece.. Bless Up🤜🏾
Can’t wait to try this flavor🔥🔥Been hearing good things about Cresp’s new composition. Definitely a big fan of his work. Keep up the good work Bro🙏 I love interviews like these bc the Perfumers always drops hidden jewels if you don’t pay attention you’ll miss it, very subtle and passionate information for the love of the Fragrance. Peace & love BroBro🙏✌️
Hello. I just wanted to ask a simple question. Why is dior ambre nuit so expensive compared to dior homme parfum when homme lasts longer and in my oppinion smells better.(this beeing just an example but you get what i mean) My question would also be - why would buy expensive niche fragrances if they do not perform way better. I watched your top 20 sillage videos as well and might try buying something from there. P.S. You are my favorite fragrance reviewer. Great work!
I would imagine that the reason why they charge more for some rather than others is to give them a perceived value and to make them appeal as more of a luxury product. Thank you for all of the kind words!
I just order this one on Nordstrom this is my favorite house this people knows what up about perfumes good job Steve keeping doing this videos you the best amigo
Great video as always. (but it's the second video from you that I've watched recently with the inclined camera, which is a little disconforty to watch, try to adjust the camara better before starting)
I am a fan of Seldley and do feel that it is underrated. Nevertheless I do wish that the Abrox could be toned down. I can understand that they felt they were appeasing the market but the heavy Abroxan has just went to an extreme.
At moment have 10 bottles would been 11 but gave one away, hopefully by christmas I'll have about 30 or 40 designer aftershave in my collection. Then in new year I'll start getting niche aftershave. Steven thanks to you my favourite hobbie home cinema which I spent over £8000 on equipment and wires, then another £3000 on bluray collection of over 350 movies. But now either 100% spare change after family duties goes on aftershaves lol.👏👏👏👏 you have and continue to teach me so much you are like a poet with your words you use to describe all scents. With out you I wouldn't know the world could smell like heaven every day lol
@@Redolessence need bit of advice I really like Thierry muglar alien EDP I got for my partner wanted male version, but it nothing like the womens. My question is I'm thinking of wearing it to work or do you think it a female fragrance only. Thanks
Unfortunately this one doesn’t work on my skin( I used for one week) no positive feedbacks like Layton. Girls/ ladies prefer Layton over Sedley. I really wanted to buy this one to add to my collection.
I'm having a hard time finding this in europe… it the release exclusive to the Usa or am i just visiting the wrong websites? Cheers on your video's m8, been following your channel for a while now and i really like it!
Got to smell this at my local Nordstrom. Great summer scent but not worth the price tag when there are so many other great summer frags for 1/4 the price.
Just wish more men took care of how they smelt and that great feeling a decent aftershave can give you. Got 1 guy at work interested in aftershave make him smell different and any new ones I get plus I get complimented on making my work place smell nice. Even been told just stand there so i can smell you all day.
Olivier Cresp is in my top 10! He has some real gems!
Indeed! Thanks for watching, Kenny!
