Chest armor is totally removable. I actually like all of the silver. If anything I wish Mattel got rid of the green highlights too so the armor would look good on other figures
Snake Armor He-Man is a look I'm very nostalgic for and it's easily one of my favorite Origins figures. Really looking forward to all the upcoming Snake Men themed waves and I hope we get more 200X inspired figures like this one down the line.
I’m hoping for both 200x Fisto and Jitsu in MOTU Origins Style and finally come with the missing gigantic sword(though may come small but still worth it) that was finally released in Mattel’s Classics Line✝️🕉⛪️⛩✊🏻✋🥊🥋🐂🐉🍖🍣🍺🍶🏰🏯
Great review!! For some reason, and I can’t really put my finger on it, I absolutely LOVE this figure!! Frankly this whole wave is incredible, and I am so excited to see what comes for both origins and Masterverse this year!! I’m also hoping we get a 200x battle armor king hiss to go alongside this.
The way I feel about the paint on Origins is, if you add too much detail, it ceases to look like a toy and leans too far into adult collectible territory, which alienates the charm of this line. A lot of that vintage stuff was very slapdash, especially early on and with the accessories.
The fact that they are removing action features completely (see Rattlor, Mechaneck, Cobra Khan, Ground Ripper...) shows that the line has already ended into adult collectible territory and Mattel know it. A splash of paint wouldn't harm the charm
When you say it’s near the 6” mark because “the added articulation allows them to bend their knees,” I think it would be better said that the added articulation allows them to *stand up straight*! 😂
can't wait to get the upcoming Snake armour skeletor , I really love this figure , wasn't sure if I would until I got him in hand and he's really cool. a interesting side note is the extended version claw from the classics version with fit the peg for origins
Okay, I've seen this armor 3 times now and I gotta ask: what is the point of the uncovered left arm? I know it's kinda silly to ask for logic in a franchise like this, but I would assume the armor is to protect him from snake bites/venom. So why leave a large portion of his body uncovered? Just a weird thing I've always noticed.
My only issue with the figure is the calf and knee joints. Every snake armor he man I bought his calves were flimsy and loose and I had a hard time standing and posing it
@ajerjavec4723 Nope, it was the special release of each iteration/generation of He-Man. Shouldn't be that difficult to find if you scroll down to when Mattel was celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the franchise.
I have never been a fan of this costume, as it seemed pointless to me. We already had Battle Armour He-Man, so this version was a bit redundant. Still, it is nice to see the excellent 2002/3 cartoon get some love.
I already have mine and like him. Not as much as I thought I would. But like it. I really like the head. Great Mix of the classic head with the more modern 200x-head.
Do you have a review for the 2002 and MOTUC versions? I never saw the MYP version, and don’t really recall when the MOTUC version was offered, or I would have bought it. This version looks cool. I’ll have to keep an eye out for it. Too bad the line is dead in my area, clogging pegs, and the only new MOTU figure I’ve seen is the Netflix Man-E-Faces popped up this wkd. I did score the NF Talon Fighter for $19 the other day, tucked away in Walmart’s outer garden area. Have you reviewed that, too? Mostly clear plastic, and you can fit a variety of other figures in there, better than the Lightyear X-1, at least. (I had numerous *plans* for that one! Only SW figures fit comfortably in that!)
Oh, and I told a coworker about you last night. We were discussing the area around SoCo Mall, across from Saga, which is still wiped out after your review! She thought my mention of “toy guy” was “ToyMan”, and I had to clarify you are not Chris, as a friend of hers goes to/sells at that show. 😂🖖

I can pass on this one because I still have my snake armor He-Man from Classics. I am however hoping for a 2002 version of King Hiss in the masterverse line.
You still believe that fool Neitlich?! Mattel owns MOTU, period. The Eternia playset hasn't been manufactured yet, and doesn't even get sent out to customers until 2024.
The 200x toys failed because they looked more for adult collectors I didn't know that many kids who played with spawn toys only my oldest brother and he was already in his early twenties. If they were for kids why did they make them look like adult collectables?
The chest armor is easily removable. Just pop off the arms and at the waist. Torso will slide right out.
The armor is actually removable if you pop the head and the arms off.
so i can make a more accurate armor for Shawn Michaels?
Chest armor is totally removable. I actually like all of the silver. If anything I wish Mattel got rid of the green highlights too so the armor would look good on other figures
That's what I thought too. Just have to remove the arm and torso from the legs. Then push the torso out.
One of the coolest armors
Snake armor He-Man is a classic at this point. Just like battle Armor He-Man, thunder punch and so on.
Loved 200X Motu and this armor was awesome. Would love to see it on the Netflix body eventually.

@SamuraiLloyd...no no no...keep She Ra and the 2000x junk out of Origins well at least until they make all the vintage figures

@@tymotekaitis3872 ...we don't need 2000x junk in Origins that's just as bad as the sun men generic figures...geesh
I've always liked the Snake Armor design. It looks so cool!
I liked both the Wolf and Samurai armors too🤠
Can't wait for 200x in Masterverse !
3:51 the armor can come off if you remove the right arm,
Great review!! For some reason, and I can’t really put my finger on it, I absolutely LOVE this figure!! Na it would still look vintage , just better

I wish the 2000x tv series would continue!!!! It isn’t streaming anywhere!!!
It's streaming on a Mattell RUclips page
@@ovekmybalz6111 I wish the series got a new season!!!
Coolest alt costume for 200x imo, looks very original on he-man
can't wait to get the upcoming Snake armour skeletor , I really love this figure , wasn't sure if I would until I got him in hand and he's really cool. a interesting side note is the extended version claw from the classics version with fit the peg for origins
Since I have most of the vintage figures, this kind of figure is what I want most from Origins-versions with a history in the 5.5 style.
Yeah me too
Looks great and LOVED the ‘toon but never warmed to the sword
Just ordered one of these and another battle armour he-man to mix and match parts. I want a B.A. he-man close to the masterverse version.
Okay, I've seen this armor 3 times now and I gotta ask: what is the point of the uncovered left arm?

Style over function I'd assume.
I tried to mashup Snake Armor He-man and Leech, it looks so cool.
i love the articulations of the orgins, god damn im excited for this figure
This fig was one of the surprise hits of 2022 for me. I never liked the design on the show, but I LOVE the figure.
My only issue with the figure is the calf and knee joints. Every snake armor he man I bought his calves were flimsy and loose and I had a hard time standing and posing it
One of my preferites of this year as I mentioned in my latest video
Pixel Dan is so cool!
Man, that Classics SA He-Man looks incredible next to the Origins version. 😄
A quick question did you ever get the four pack of the various he-man based on the different cartoons that have existed?
Yeah he did a review for it awhile back
@@ObsessiveGeek you may be thinking of He bro if not, can you please put a link to that review

Correction,Dan. You can take the armor off. Aplay some heat to the armor and pull it off. I did it to paint the missing colors. Happy new year!
It's funny if you think about it. In a way, the 200x Snake Armor He-Man IS the VINTAGE figure, being nearly 25 years old now.
I actually watched a video about why they gave he man the armor to make him look cooler to kids since the 200X line was failing
The CLASSICS-Version is my favourite of SNAKE ARMOR HE-MAN
the next one they should make is the ice armor he-man

This actually looks really good
Awesome toys collection
*The wish:* I want a 2002 revival
*The monkey's paw:*
I got the MOTUC figure. Its awesome
I'd like to see ice armor he-man
I dig it looks cool
Great review!!armor can come off you have to remove the arm
planning to get this, as soon as it becomes available here in Manila... side by side with my 200x Origins version...
Will they Masterverse this?
I feel like the 2000X head would look better with blue eyes
I think that is what me dissapoints a little bit. Not that much paint on him. But still Looks good.
I'm actually working on a snake armor he-man masterverse action figure.
The face sculpt resembles Joseph Prince.
Great review Dan! I would love to see this version of He-Man in the New Eternia line of figures!!
Soul Caliber He-Man
That Classics version, though.
Hope to see MOTU Origins 200X Fisto with the massive sword finally released in Classics✝️⛪️👊🏻🥊🐂🍖🍺🏰
Something about the belt speaks to me. 🤔
Did they release this version of He-man in 200x?
Yes. It was shown in the review.
Good he man by Mattel
Unpainted is better than a sloppy paint job. Can he sit on Battle-Cat decently? It doesn't look like it.
I can pass on this one because I still have my snake armor He-Man from Classics. I am however hoping for a 2002 version of King Hiss in the masterverse line.
I have a second 200x HE-MAN because I don't like the one arm or the boots on this figure. I'll make my own Snake Armor HE-MAN!
I bet you could get the armor off if you heated it up a bunch. I was able to get Prince Adam's shirt off with a little hot water.
Gosh I really cannot wait for this design to show up in the Masterverse scale, its always been my favourite He-Man look
Eu sinceramente não entendo porque o He-Man usaria uma armadura cujo o lado esquerdo do peito está totalmente desprotegido. 😅
this He-man toy kind of looks like Kevin Sorbo lol
I've never realized how cool the armor looks in Origins form. I stopped collecting Origins, but this looks so tempting.
Why would the most powerful man in the universe need armor? 🤔
Against snake venom 😂
@poepeter8394 exactly every hero has a vulnerability.
🤘😎
I don't like the whole snake armor concept to me it takes away the mystic and sneakyness of the snake men....
Didn't Mattel lose the rights to MOTU at the end of 2022 (yesterday)?

Again, sunman characters waste another precious slot
Snake Armor Karen!

My God its terrible

I can't wait to get mine
