Good review. I never had Sssqueeze as a kid but decided to get one any way. I'll admit I'd have liked it if they gave him articulated arms as well, similar to how Leech had the "normal" head and hands as I'm worried about the bendy wire breaking over time, but I appreciate I'm in the minority when it comes to the action features. Edit: Saying that, the Whiplash arms worked well. I wonder how the arms would look with Sssqueeze's hands in them.
Thanks for checking the review out l! I always liked all the wacky looking figures such as SSSQUEEZE as a kid. So im now happy to see these in the Origins again! I didn't think they would include articulated arms for this figure. He never had any before. So they are just sticking to the main concept. But the whiplash arms and parts worked out really well because of the close colors and design. I did actually try the big hands on the whiplash arms, too. But I didn't like it and had an issue filming that part. So I just cut in editing. The most important part was just trying a pair of simular color arms over the wacky looking rope arms on this figure!
Yeah, I was excited to have whiplash available and try giving SSSQUEEZE. Some regular arms and parts! Whiplash worked out the best so far! I'm gonna call him Gator-man with the whiplash arms on and SSSQUEEZE- Lash with the arms and head on the Whiplash body! Lol. Thanks for stopping by 👍
Great video! Thank you! It always bugged me that they called Sssqueeze an "Evil Long-Armed Viper" when he's blatantly based on an emerald tree boa. He's even got the weird emerald tree boa head, with the bulging forehead, pale slit-pupilled eyes, and long snout filled with loads of teeth. (Seriously, watching them yawn or realign their jaws is freakin' nightmare fuel.)
Thanks for checking this review out! Yeah, he has some odd looking features, or his name doesn't stand out to his design or character. But that's what the MOTU always did in the vintage days with these figures and their names. It was just supposed to be something simple for kids to pick up on or remember because of the over the Top name and main action features the toy was known for!
Yeah, I'm sure a vintage SSSQUEEZE is very easy to find still. This Origins one is much better with the details and new articulation. Hopefully, BBTS will get Wave 14 soon! Thanks for stopping in!👌
I'm gonna do a sort of silly combiner form with Tung lashor's legs, Snake Face's body, One King hiss and one Sssquueeze arm, Rattlor's neck and Cobra Kahn's head.
That sounds awesome! There are so many fun things you can do now. I just showed a few things to match the colors and give him regular arms. I do show a lot of wacky custom ideas like that in my wave 14 infiltrator snake figure review coming tomorrow! Thanks for watching 👍

There were a few figures toward the end of the vintage line that I didn’t have; mainly (A) because I was 11 years old and began outgrowing the toys, and (B) my sister was born in ‘86 during that final wave of vintage figures…so after a decade of being an only child, my parents couldn’t really “spoil” me with every MotU toy anymore now that they had an infant to care for! 😂 But I do specifically remember having Sssqueeze! I’m fairly positive he must have been one of the last figures I ended up getting (if not the very last one…I know I didn’t have Snake Face), and I remember thinking how wacky and cool his gimmick was! I’m so glad Origins managed to keep him intact! He looks perfect! As far as Blast-Attak goes, I believe he was considered an Evil Warrior in Skeletor’s faction in the vintage line. Classics had him in the Snake Men faction. Then again, Kobra Khan was also an Evil Warrior originally and retroactively became a member of the Snake Men. In any case, I really like how you mixed and matched the parts with Whiplash! Normally, I’m not that into the customizing too much, but in this instance, they work very well together!
I had all the Snakemen and most figures as a kid. I remember how cool I thought they were and its amazing 40 years later a collection like the Origins comes around full circle and these figures exist again but with some changes both good and bad depending on the figure and action features that was Carried over or not! I always thought SSSQUEEZE was really creepy and cool looking. But I wish he had arms sometimes or can shape shift to not always walk around with rope arms even since the Classics. Now with the Origins you can give him arms from Whiplash if you have one and you're trying to match the color best. So that really makes this figure way more interesting or creative. Yes Blast Attack was part if Skeletors clan as Kobra Kahn was. But the Classics and 200x added those into the Snakemen Story. So thats what I kind of go by and reference to future Motu Toys. Thanks for also checking out this video and posting your thoughts 👍

Maybe figures in concept designs, overseas, and customs. But as far as the USA and the Vintage release Snakemen, it ended with the figures I mentioned to my knowledge. You can look up the Motu Vintage USA Master list, and those are the only figures shown. There were other figures. But not in the USA, such as Kamo Kahn, for example, at the time. Thanks for watching and the info!
Thanks for the review, ManChild! I'm still on the fence about Squeeze. I stopped collecting MOTU way before Squeeze came out in the vintage line (I think Buzz-Off was probably my last vintage figure as a kid before I switched to GI Joe almost exclusively.) His long arms make him very unique, kind of like Ram Man's totally different form. I'm thinking he belongs with Terror Claw Skeletor when they go clubbing to the gay bars - they can dance to Wham! songs together! 😂 I love all the customs you created by crossing Squeeze with Whiplash. Honestly, I think you might have sold me on getting Squeeze and another Whiplash now to jix them up. Just the head swap makes two really cool new minions.
Thanks for stopping in Brushstroke! Yeah, SSSQUEEZE is one of those unique looking Snakemen figures that was kind of cool but awkward at the same time because of the big arms. You couldn't do too much with him without regular arms. Only his squeezing action feature or just wrap arms around other figures. But if you have Whiplash and want to give SSSQUEEZE arms. They work well because of the color and make a whole different figure. Yeah, when he is just walking around all day with Terror Claws Skeletor. They could be the Snake Mountain Village people! Lol. I think feeding the beast will work in your favor when you can get this guy. I have a feeling you will take a liking to him because of your interest in the line and characters in the Motu universe 👍
@@ThemanchlidYes, I think you may have sold me on Squeeze with all your customs crossing him with Whiplash. I'll have to get another Whiplash as well! I really like them with just their heads swapped.
@brushstroke3733 Oh, you got two whiplash figures! You are set then for customs with SSSQUEEZE. The biggest complaint I have gotten in the comments is that most people want to put Whiplash arms on him like I showed and don't have or can't afford a Whiplash now. So you're good once you get one👍
Yeah, I heard the same thing said in another comment on this video. Whiplash was very limited and hard to get. Maybe Mattel might do a second run. They mentioned they will be doing some re releases of certain older Origins down the road. Thanks for watching 👍
Of course, they can fit. I did try that in this review originally. But they looked strange, I thought on the arms, and I had an issue in the filming part of that cut. So I took it out in editing. But thanks for watching and sharing your comments 👍
Yes, the scalpers are of concern! But usually, Mattel Creations only allows 2 or 3 figures per account and claims they have good programs in place to detect Bots and multiple accounts. I noticed that most collectors that have purchased the last few MOTU items through Mattel creations have all gotten at least one other two figures from the comments compared to sales in the past. The only issue now is that their system freezing up, not enough figures, and missing out because the buyer didn't get on once the sale starts and places their orders early. Then, of course, international shipping rates. Unfortunately, I think the only way for Mattel to finish up the Vintage inspired Origins figures is though online sales like Mattel creations because retailers aren't that interested in more Origins from what I read because they don't sell well in stores to a majority of people. The remaining Origins figures to complete the vintage line will be highly tooled and very expensive to manufacture today.
@@Themanchlid very true Masters is not selling good at retail but I have literally seen people in Facebook groups post 6 kol-dars 6 wundars etc. Upon delivery I don't think the bots is detecting everything some people still have multiple accounts However I will remain faithful to my origins great content as usual
I never liked this guy. I had him in the 80's & just didn't like it. I thought the long arms were really stupid. This one really needed to be a deluxe with normal arms + the elongated arms. I definitely want him with the normal Whiplash arms but I can't find Whiplash anywhere for normal retail price. Can't afford to buy extras when they are $30 or $40 each. I wish Mattel would get better at flooding the market with the newer Origins figures so all the scalpers can go fuck themselves. Masterverse is easy as hell to collect & usually always IN STOCK. But Origins is just impossible if you didn't pre-order. I can't afford to pay more than retail. You have no idea how expensive all my customizing supplies cost. Silicone rubber & resin are expensive as hell. And I have a lot of failures so I have to keep wasting mold rubber until I get it right.
I was always fascinated with the more wacky figures or creatures in the MOTU vintage line as a kid and still to this day. So figures like SSSQUEEZE and Spikor are the most exciting to me one again! I didn't think Mattel would give him regular arms as an Origins figure. They didn't with Classics, and he never had any in the 200x. Just long snake arms as he has now. But I also think it would be interesting to see him with regular arms. So I just went through my collection and found whiplash would work the best because of the color and creature hands. Yes, whiplash is a pain in the ass to find or get a deal on! The Origins line has been from day one as far as the popular figures. I think the main retail distribution isn't working out so well for Mattel to make a profit and pay for the high cost of these figures today to get to market. So, going online to Mattel Creations or BBTS seems to be their best bet. But it's not the best for collectors, unfortunately, because of lack of supply and scalpers, as you mentioned! I hear you on cost! I'm far for rich, and getting this stuff hurts me too, and it's not getting easier! I just get what I can and show what's out there! But I don't really have good answers on the future of this line or how to acquire these figures cheaper and easier! Thanks for watching as always and sharing your thoughts ✌️
@@Themanchlid Squeeze is supposed to have regular arms that can extend when he wants to grab enemies. I'm pretty sure he doesn't walk around like that all the time. Just like Rattlor's neck can extend but he doesn't walk around that way 100% of the time. I would like the option to have him in both modes/versions. Imagine if every Origins figure could be as easy to get as the naked Stratos/Jitsu/Buzz-Off wave? That's how it's supposed to be. It sucks how some figures are completely worthless while others require an arm, a leg & your firstborn. And even when Mattel reissues them like the Scare Glow wave & puts more into the market, the prices still don't go back down. WTF???
A first-rate review of Sssqueeze and his accessory!

Yeah, he is another awesome figure that isxa must have as part of the Origins wave 14 series. The design, color, and arms look really cool! That pet snake is a little awkward and doesn't always work well on the arm on my figure. But it's a good sculpt for Origins details. I'm happy to hear you like the overall look. Aside from the pet, customizing your own can be cool. Thanks for watching already! I always appreciate the comments too bro👍
WELL GOSH DANGIT! Hey! Just got mine in and saw your review! So I took it upon myself to LIKE...and SUB! Nice to see your reviews man! I'm a MOTU, Transformers, and GI Joe Classified collector..so yeah, hard to keep up, much less stay ahead! lol..thx for the review brother!
Congrats on getting your figure in! I appreciate and your subscription. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the video and most of all the figure. I think he came out awesome in Origins! It's great to meet nastalgic toy fans👍
Squeeze is essential in any MOTU collection 🐍
@MiKeMiDNiTe-77 Oh yeah! I remember having the vintage squeeze as a kid. I thought he was really cool looking for the Snakemen faction. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts 👍
Thanks for going into detail on the changes of arm heads. My do to figure reviewer on youtube!!
ThNk again
No problem! Thanks again for stopping in to check out the review! I just finished the Infiltrator snake review. I also filmed a quick update of the SSSQUEEZE Hands on the Whiplash arms and showed it in that review. I had to cut that in editing in this review because of issues. I'll post it later👍
I finally ordered this guy I wanted him for so long at least I got some snake men ways to go looking good so far
Thanks for checking out my review! It's awesome that you ordered this guy! I really like what th Origins has done with the Snakemen!
Also try putting the arms of SSSQUEEZE on King Hiss's Body.
Yeah I could make a whole video on parts swapping alone. I just tried a few things in the review. The arms look cool on King Hiss with the green Armor on I think. Thanks for watching 👍
Great video as ever Man Child, just frustrated that you didn't try the big hands on Whiplash's arms!! 😬🙂
Hello. Thanks again for stopping in to check out the review! Yes, I filmed it originally but had a problem and had to cut it in editing. I just filmed that part again, and it will be at the beginning of my Origins infiltrator review coming later today!👍
@@Themanchlid awesome, thanks for the update! 👍🙂
@Daniel-zy8rz No problem! The video is uploading now. The SSSQUEEZE update is in the beginning after my introduction👍
The line didn't end with the snake men there was more characters that were released in 1986 and 1987 .one of my favorite trilibot.
I love all the customs you created by crossing Squeeze with Whiplash.
Just realized Squeeze looks like the Koopa’s from the 90’s Mario movie.
Lol. Yeah he he kind of does in the head a little bit! Thanks for checking the review out and sharing your comments 👍
Excellent review ☺️👍 will like and share ☺️👍
Thanks for taking the time to check out the review and sharing the content! That's awesome and very much appreciated😁👍
Now I really wish I had gotten more whiplash when he was available
Yeah, I heard the same thing said in another comment on this video. Whiplash was very limited and hard to get. Maybe Mattel might do a second run. They mentioned they will be doing some re releases of certain older Origins down the road. Thanks for watching 👍
When I get him I gonna custom paint his boots to darker gray he’s one of the figures where he looks dorky with his outfit lol
Yeah, a little custom paint goes a long way sometimes!👍
fav snake man hes perfect !
He came out better than the original, I think, buddy! Thanks for stopping in 👍
Awesome 😊
Thanks for checking him out! Yes he is very cool in hand!
Still no blast attack 😢
No, not yet! He will be an expensive, highly tooled figure. I can see one coming next year to Mattel Creations 👍
Have you seen the Skeleton Warriors in any leaks yet?
Thanks for watching! No, I haven't seen them to market yet. They are supposed to start coming around in August or September.
Squeeezze's head on Whiplash's body looks more gatorlike than Whippy's! 😅
Yes SSSQUEEZE always had a Gator apperance! Thanks for checking out the review and sharing your thoughts 👌
cool
Thankyou! He certainly came out well!👍
Can his big hands fit on other arms?
Of course, they can fit. I did try that in this review originally. But they looked strange, I thought on the arms, and I had an issue in the filming part of that cut. So I took it out in editing. But thanks for watching and sharing your comments 👍
I painted a bit his pet snake for not being like a piece of plastick
Yeah the pet snake accessory is kind of bland. A little paint can definitely help! Thanks for watching and sharing your custom ideas.
The Masses of collectors is going to get burnt with everything going to Mattel creations it is
Open season for scalpers
Upon delivery I don't think the bots is detecting everything some people still have multiple accounts
However I will remain faithful to my origins great content as usual
WTF???
