So the growler, Jayant, also has beautiful clean vocals. Raoul, the rapper, is a fairly recent addition to the band. In my opinion, they all mesh together so beautifully. Karan, multi-instrumentalist and main composer was the guy on the guitar. If you watch their videos, you'll see more of those villagers. I do believe some of them are family, and along them are proud. There are dancers in one other track, but they came upon them by accident. They don't have dancers, typically. But they definitely show their beautiful culture, which I love to see. Alien Weaponry kind of does that, too.

These guys are from Delhi, the national capital. A lot of culture here (I live nearby) is inspired by the Punjab region which is just next door - that's where the dancers are from. You might have been exposed to Punjabi culture in the form of Sikhs, Gurudwaras and of course Daler Mehndi. As for the rap - it is quite big in parts of India especially Punjab and Delhi so it makes sense for them to integrate that into their sound. PS: I think some of these guys are actually Punjabi judging by their names but I'm not certain.
Loved, the reaction and analysis. Bloodywood is amazing, Ari Ari Ari introduced me and Jee Veerey hooked me completely, such a powerful song. Rap is not very knew in India. There is even a Bollywood movie based on the life of two Indian street rappers. The movie is called "Gully Boy". The rappers its based on are *"DIVINE"* and *"Naezy"* . There is another legendary Indian rapper who *raps in English: "BrodhaV"* . Check out Brodha V. He's got some bars. You'll be just as surprised as you were with Bloodywood.
I'm from India and rapping is a popular thing here. The mainstream Bollywood rapping is utter shit. Underground artists are so good but bloodywood is on a another level with their rap stuff.
its funny Bloody is an acclaimed and loved band all over the world. Yet if you ask 95% if indians who bloodywood are woiuld be clueless. Hope India was more intuned with their own.
Metal isn't popular in India, if orthodox Christians have the metal is satanic outlook, it has very similar outlook with the Indian folks. Rap wasn't popular in India, until rappers like Divine came along and rapped in the local language, and some mainstream movies were made. Bloodywood hs gained international fame, and thats great because Metal can't be constricted by boundaries.
Yeah it is strange how Eastern artists don’t gain too much popularity here - even someone super famous like Dimash from Asia is virtually unknown over here
I realize I got it wrong, but you have to understand I am an American who has never been to India and have no cultural context on this! I think this is the first time I have seen this specific style and dress of dance. Thank you for the correction! It will help those of us from outside of India understand and what we are seeing!
@@voicehacks just stating the facts, maam. Wasn't trying to be a dick.😁. My apologies. By the way the language in the chorus is Punjabi also and not hindi, maam. Cheers.

You should check out Yaad by Bloodywood.... being tissues
In the States (where I live) we have neither type of dancing so, it’s understandable that I wouldn’t know what it is exactly.
Sorry there is no tone in text whatsoever. I certainly didn’t expect you to know the difference off hand.
I just personally don’t like Bollywood, Bhangra on the other hand I really quite enjoy. That’s why I cringed lol
There are also other famous rappers like *"Emiway"* *"Raftar"* . These two had a beef and multiple rounds of diss tracks.
This is new in india
I'm from India and rapping is a popular thing here. The mainstream Bollywood rapping is utter shit. Underground artists are so good but bloodywood is on a another level with their rap stuff.

🖤🖤❤️❤️
its funny Bloody is an acclaimed and loved band all over the world. Yet if you ask 95% if indians who bloodywood are woiuld be clueless. Hope India was more intuned with their own.
Try Bhayanak Maut
Metal isn't popular in India, if orthodox Christians have the metal is satanic outlook, it has very similar outlook with the Indian folks. Rap wasn't popular in India, until rappers like Divine came along and rapped in the local language, and some mainstream movies were made. Bloodywood hs gained international fame, and thats great because Metal can't be constricted by boundaries.
Would you please do a reaction to Vintersea and Lacrimas Profundere? They're awesome 🔥

It's not exactly a "bollywood" dance ❤️
Yes it's regional culture ✌️🌸
You asked about RAP in India. Please check out BRODHA V / KR$NA / F8L the lyrical monsters. And there are loads of others
its funny that eastern audience know more about west than western audience know about east...
Yeah it is strange how Eastern artists don’t gain too much popularity here - even someone super famous like Dimash from Asia is virtually unknown over here
another two cool Indian bands are GODLESS and GUTSLIT

rap is quite popular in India but unfortunately the metal scene hasn't developed much.
and guess what nobody knows them in India... metal scene is just dead since rap took over from 2010
World thinks Indian are in engeneering or medical or scientists only... Nah that not true
it's Punjabi, not Hindi
Yes all of them are from India and rap is famous in India... But metal isn't
Bollywood dancers? Seriously? No no no. Those are Punjabi boys are dancing to the Bhangra.
Cheers.
