Fun fact: the Japanese title for Fins in the Air is 「衝天プチョフィンザ」[shouten puchofinza](プチョフィンザ=put your fins up) It’s interesting that the last lyric sounds like the title :)
YEA I NOTICED THAT TOO!!!!!! maybe it’s because Shiver is Japanese coded and hiragana is used for Japanese words, and Frye is Middle Eastern/Indian coded and katakana is used for loan words!!
@@lic_rine2720 she also has a more "American" accent compared to Pearl. She uses sounds like [you], [ow] that we can't hear when Pearl speaks or sing. (~Pearl only uses basic Japanese sounds)
I noticed Frye sings differently at the [wattye haradin banbita] part, when they song together with each one's different melody. At first, I thought Frye sings a little bit differently. like [wat-tyara hin din banbita], or [wat-tyara hi di yanbita]. Then I saw Shiver's lyrics, and there's [wat tara hi di yatiba], and now I think Frye sings with Shiver's lyrics. Anyway, this song is Cool enough to sing along. Thanks for the Lyrics video!
Can someone give me a text version that differentiates shiver, frye, and big man’s lyrics so I can make a cover of the song? Just a script thing would be fine :) Edit: just checked the desc, but it doesn’t differentiate the characters if someone could do that please :)
People never like when I say this but I'm pretty sure big man doesn't sing in the studio version, people think the backing vocals are his but I'm super good recognizing the idols voices and after hearing him in the live version I can tell he's not present here I'd recommend copypasting, rearranging a bit (because they sing different stuff at the same time and it can get confusing) and color coding the lyrics in a program that allows that using this video as a reference
This is gibberish, there's no meaning nor translation in these, the only thing resembling any meaning is "puchofinza" which is "put your fins up" written in in a Japanese pronunciation

Actually they do that for Marina and Pearl too! It was because Marina is an octoling and she has a sort of accent.
