But the new leaves are at the top and they're just growing! Plus from my experience hoya cuttings without leaves do not root and grow. So I'm waiting!

Hi, what would you recomend as a plant that could grow in water? I found a "half yard beer glass" at a thrift store and I want to hang it on wall with plants growing down alonf the glass and with the roots visible growing in the glass. Thanks 😄

You can grow most plants in water, you just have to add fertiliser every now and then if you want it in there forever. But I would use it as a propagation spot - put cuttings in it until they root and then if you feel like potting it up, put new cuttings in the beer glass👌

I watched your vid from past on pests. I have something chomping on the new growth of some Hoyas and Pothos. I have been treating them with sulfur for several months now and systemics. I can’t see any pests. Do you have any idea ?

hey, that really depends on what the leaves look like - have you zoomed in with your phone or tried a magnifying glass or microscope? one pest that often ruins Hoya new growth are flat mites, they're too small to see with the naked eye. sulfur should help with that, but I'm not sure if it does anything against other pests. if the new leaves on pothos etc turn brown it often is thrips, they are small but visible once you know what to look for. can be other things too, unfortunately there's plenty of pests that can harm our plants. systemics should help, but keep in mind that especially thrips can very quickly become resistant to a pesticide so then you're in even more trouble :S I hope this helps in figuring it out! good luck.

@@plantwithroos can’t see anything with a microscope. The edges of the Hoya have obvious ridges of deformity and chewed areas on new growth of pothos. I do spray w sulfur and it does help but they reappear on a leaf. No new plants and if outbreak I put plant in ziploc bag now immediately
