I really wish we got to see more video of the turtle exploring his enclosure for the first time. Consider setting up a tripod and doing a time-lapse video of him in his cage sometime. I could watch him explore his tank for a long time
I really want to put my young turtles into a larger tank, but they never seem to do well, and in some horrible cases I've had young turtles drown, even with multiple docks and things to climb to the surface, do you have any advice? I hate to see anything pass away, especially a turtle since they're supposed to live so long.

I want to get an indoor pet Russian tortoise enclosure made I haven't purchased the animal yet but am having second thoughts last year I played my hand at creating an glass plant terrarium and before I could even finish my project gnats were showing up in droves and before I knew it I had a infestation I had to spend money to get my house sprayed and set gnat traps this was an horrifying and tedious experience I have since did research on the annoying rodents and now I only have lucky bamboo plants because they are the only plants I can leave in an planter without a hole at the bottom I put fish gravel and black sand on top and I use water globes to distribute water this way gnats can't get in and lay their eggs I know that tortoises need substrate and I am afraid that gnats will come and lay eggs in it and I will have an repeat of infestation I sure would love to have an tortoise as a pet but because of the gnat problem I now den it impossible any ideas?

Do all turtle tanks a lid?
What kind of water? Anything added to it?
What kind of water did you use for your tank ?
I was thinking the same thing. I think he used freshwater not brackish, because of the fish and the pothos plants.
Where did you get him
where can I get one? local here in nyc

Turtle Loving Guy
You can put them in a larger enclosure, just don’t put so much water in it. Keep it shallow until they are big enough to handle it.
Wen r u doin a eastern video
Does 40 gallon work with with them?
