Ok I have a question? If my parents let me can i send you a mystery fish box because I have a bunch of cichlids and 8 turtles and I’m a big fan I so can you comment sure on one of my vids and I can reach out to you.
You could throw cinder blocks or something underneath each side of the higher more flimsy sides since you’re wrapping it anyway to be able to hold more water
I would recommend putting fencing on the side of the pool pond that touches the turtle pond. I can already see a turtle climbing into the pool pond and getting eaten by one of the big bois. Also for a filter I would recommend the Fluval U4. It’s an underwater filter so it will work well in that tank. It’s outpost is 260GPH.
I got the same vibe you got and after a little wile of it being in the water the small leaves start falling of and getting stuck to the filter and my turtle tried to eat is so I’d try and keep them on land
I’ve done this same thing before but with the 125 gallon one you buy at Lowe’s, a cool deer block fit perfectly under each shelf for me, that did the trick for supporting the shelf’s, you might try it in case it’s the correct dimensions.
thank you! i have a turtle and right now she's in a tank. however, id love to create an indoor poke for her someday when I actually have the space. this is a great idea.
Mightus is definitely a beautiful turtle the golden color that came in is stunning! I remember when he was just mostly pale yellow and pink also it’s insane how big he has gotten!!!🎉😂
I know you said your friend gave you that but does anyone know where I can get that bin. I feel like I've seen that in home Depot before. That is the best one I've seen yet it's perfect
Hey Carson, I think you should put some frogs in the big aquarium. I've watched your old videos the other day, you gave me so many great ideas!! Thank you for everything keep up the awesome work!!
Love this idea I have 13 turtles and a 500 gallon is perfect but I moved to an apt so I’m scared to fill it up so I saw this video and got the idea what if I did the same but instead of separating the pond I put the rubber one inside and what ever space is left in the pool I use as a basking/ dirt area
Nice!!! Carson,I also want to see more scenes or clips of you in the pet stores buying stuff, it's so cool to see an actual pet store as I buy them in popular markets/unpopular 15 by 15 feet small convenient fish store
Love the new pond! I have a bunch of wold caught sliders and musk turtles in an old hot tub!!! But it doesn't look as good as your turtle pond. Great job!!!
Hey so please I need help I got a red stripe turtle months ago, and have just been using a generic 10 gallon tank and the small filter it came with, and some large rocks that i got from my yard, But the water is constantly getting gross and I feel like the filter isn't doing anything to help. Do you have any suggestions on tank size, type of filter, and any way to help keep the water clean for longer? Cuz pouring out the water every week sucks there has to be a better way And I feel like he is miserable in that tank also. It's small. My budget isn't huge but I can save up for pieces here or there till it's all assembled! Thanks!
I know it’s late but always a bad idea to put any kind of male turtles together ,they will get along as hatchlings but once they hit maturity, they will start fighting
Man this looks awesome I’ve got one about the same size just in the backyard. On the plants go to Michaels or hobby lobby for your fake plants much cheaper
Carson: Having the water heater tank next or in the same area to the electrical chords that's on the floor is a recipe for disaster. At least take the time to secure the outlets off the floor a feet and a half.
This is my 1st year as a turtle owner. Does the substrate make it harder to keep clean? Would something like this be ok for a year old turtle or would the land area not by the basking lamp be too cold?
So regarding keeping the tank clean. If your goal is to be able to suck out every bit of waste....yeah it's much easier in a bare bottom tank. Substrate will essentially hide a lot of the waste. The thing is, if you have a proper set up, when the nitrogen cycle establishes, it doesn't really matter. The waste is broken down and eaten by bacteria, the physical waste left over basically becomes as inert as dirt. When it comes to aquariums, with fish, turtles whatever. "Clean" is not a very cut and dry word. The main thing you want is to ensure the water is free of Ammonia, Nitrites. While managing Nitrate levels with weekly partial water changes (or a butt load of plants that eat Nitrates). If you have enough plants, theoretically all you will need to do for maintenance is top off the water as it evaporates and rinse out your filter every couple months. Essentially, the closer you can get your aquarium functioning like a real aquatic ecosystem, the less maintenance you will have to do.
Thanks for watching! I love how this turtle pond turned out, but I think we definitely need some fish for it. What should we put in here?⬇️
Maybe some ranchu goldfish
Maybe some sunset platies or some other colorful livebearers
Or maybe get some strawberry rasboras
Rasboras

Midas is getting big. Great turtle tank. Love the basking area. Can’t wait to see the big pool done.
That's what I was thinking! Midas has gotten huge since joining the fam
You could throw cinder blocks or something underneath each side of the higher more flimsy sides since you’re wrapping it anyway to be able to hold more water
i love the fact u diy ur ponds can’t wait to see the 500 gal fully set up too
Haven’t tuned into this channel in months, perfect video to tune back into

I was thinking the same, they can also use the fake plants as a ladder,, somebody will "break out" for sure.
Yeah.
Good video, nice pond. Thank you. My tip is put rubber hose around electric wires for heater and filter as protection prevents turtles chewing cables.
Love the way the turtle pond came out! I’m sure they will love it as well once they settle in.
Yeah! Thanks for sharing your incredible idea. I have a RES & a molly. I have a fabricated pond from home Depot. I'm putting it outside in back yard.
I got the same vibe you got and after a little wile of it being in the water the small leaves start falling of and getting stuck to the filter and my turtle tried to eat is so I’d try and keep them on land
Love the new set up!! The land part looks awesome
Pond looks great Carson.
Ty man mine is coming along great so far
I want to build something like this for my outdoor patio! I need some help on that lol
I’ve done this same thing before but with the 125 gallon one you buy at Lowe’s, a cool deer block fit perfectly under each shelf for me, that did the trick for supporting the shelf’s, you might try it in case it’s the correct dimensions.
That looks sick!!
Love those Aquascape log caves. Great habitats for your turtles Kenan.
I definitely recommend another set of rope lights or LEDs for the basement you've got a lot of creative options with that framing above you.
Awesome! Luv the way you created the turtle pond! 🐢
Can’t wait for the pool pond vid I know it’s going to be a banger like this one!
thank you! i have a turtle and right now she's in a tank. however, id love to create an indoor poke for her someday when I actually have the space. this is a great idea.
Very very cool. Your turtles are getting huge!!! You may have to set a spot up for them in your new big pond!!!
I gotta find out where i can get a pond liner like that
Mightus is definitely a beautiful turtle the golden color that came in is stunning! I remember when he was just mostly pale yellow and pink also it’s insane how big he has gotten!!!🎉😂

I know you said your friend gave you that but does anyone know where I can get that bin. I feel like I've seen that in home Depot before. That is the best one I've seen yet it's perfect
Awesome video Carson🔥and it’s so cool to see the turtles move into better and bigger enclosures
Love it! Hoping to do something similar for my turtles.
Use bricks a cinder blocks to supposed those area with land so it doesn’t tip over the pond
Great pond! Sorry if I missed it, which filter do you use for this pond?
So cute!! I love your setup , I have 4 red eared sliders of my own. Shelldon, Shelly, shell B , and violet. Shell B is albino as well

Update on Kobe the blood parrot. My favorite fish on the channel.
Three words to live by: Family comes first
It's dope but too small. Look into a stock tank, 150g. For better filtration, use the tetra pond filter rated for nearly 500g. It works perfectly.
It’s a 100 gl pond search it up online
@@IdkNewYears I'd be surprised if there was even 60G of water in there. Regardless 100G isn't enough room for 3 turtles that size.
Carson hit us with a day in the life
It would be great if u would have added some live plants in there
You didn’t clean the pond out after it had been dirty sitting side for years before setting it up?
Great set up ! 🔥
Love the tank! How often does something like this have to be cleaned and do you have to empty it completely?
I have learned so much about turtles ever since I started watching you about 3 months ago I wanted to get a turtle and I got 2 and they are so fun
Came out nice man
where did u get the wooden fence things?
Nice vid
Quick tip for ya, when u get ur filter for ur pond make sure it either has a uv filter built in, or u buy a ur filter separately
Hey so please I need help I got a red stripe turtle months ago, and have just been using a generic 10 gallon tank and the small filter it came with, and some large rocks that i got from my yard, But the water is constantly getting gross and I feel like the filter isn't doing anything to help.

Great video Carson. TOP G

What is the right water Temperaturen?
Great videos man every time I see that you posted a new video I click so fast, and I can’t wait to see how to 470 gal pool pond turns out!
Would it be possible to put a musk turtle and a pink bellied side neck turtle together the musk turtle is larger than the side neck also.
I know it’s late but always a bad idea to put any kind of male turtles together ,they will get along as hatchlings but once they hit maturity, they will start fighting
I garentee you they will find a way to climb that vine and escape
Where can I get the same tank?
Man this looks awesome I’ve got one about the same size just in the backyard. On the plants go to Michaels or hobby lobby for your fake plants much cheaper
How do you change the water sir?
where can i get the black container?
Enjoy your videos. Seems to me that that the water area isn't enough room for three turtles
nice turtle pond
hey are you gonna give that old filter away cuz i REALLY need one for my turtles
Carson: Having the water heater tank next or in the same area to the electrical chords that's on the floor is a recipe for disaster. At least take the time to secure the outlets off the floor a feet and a half.
Do you have link to these items?
What is the tub called?
Hi, I hope you have a great day.
When will you keep African clawed Frogs again?
Great job💪🏾🔥

@tsdobbi Great. Thank you. I'll be sure to keep up with maintenance and worry less. Whenever I see waste I worry about their health
How many gallon was this pond
Love it
I would take down those germs on the wall because they could climb out
What’s the yellow turtle
Albino turtle
You need more turtle videos
Nice ❤
You should get a bunch of baby turtles and put them in there I think that would be really cool
That pond is already too small for the 3 turtles and fishes lol definitely does not need any more turtles
What happened to the Reeves turtle
