If someone came to your shop with this SVR, and asked you to get it on the road, what would you quote? And how much would it set them back roughly for the diag, parts, labour full lot to get in running?
I’m sure he was saying roughly £15k in the video if he eluded to it costing someone that much.
@@23SkyWarrior for a SVR engine rebuild we charge £8.5k, not sure what mr Dave here is saying because the engine in this video is complete scrap hence why it becomes £15k more or less, but most times they are salvageable easily

There was a facelift SVR BLUE that had a few running issue AFTER REPLACEMENT ENGINE FITTED on market for 16K still would have been better
Either a CAT S or similar no way it’s a facelift for that price, mine is HPI clear

My bmw M3 comp makes a ticking sound when idling, any idea what it is, I’m thinking hydraulic lifter valves??? If this something you can fix, get in touch plz
Could be a number of things lifters, injectors something loose etc, my details are in the description 👍🏽

It’s only a bargain if you can afford to rebuild the engine, if someone else brought that from Copart they would of got the shock of there life
Who ever had this svr range smashed it no proper service on engine. Used abused big time. Think this range rover svr was hired svr..get new engine..

Block has a crack on it at the top of the bore
@NamzBoost yeah but they would drill that out and put new sleeve in. I've had that done before. If you've got a new block anyway no drama
@@DaleSteel the crack is not on the liner itself, watch the last part you’ll see it’s at the top where the headgasket sits, it’s not like us to weld it and give it a go
