very informative and more importantly -they do look good on your trail 125. nice work and a handy tip on vibration and weights so i think a job well done
Yeah, they are actually even longer than the ones in the mighty CB500X. As big as they are they were still pretty light vs the new Barkbuster bar ends.
@@TeamDNFracing Heck yeah you are 🏁. I admit I'm very hyper sensitive to stuff so I'm sure some of it is me. I actually use my Monkey as a base line for stuff. So far its been my smoothest and most comfy ride of all. Man, if I could ever find someone reliable in my parts to do a big bore like your's. That would be a dream come true. But for now thats a no go. As far as the smaller front 13t ⚙goes. Does that take away from your top end speed and make the ABS inoperable? I think you were my 400th sub Okie. That was a number I've wanted to reach so thank you for checking out my channel. You and Warro were the first two folks to shine a light on this dynamo of a bike.... you guys have my respect 🙌 🙏.
@@findingneutral Thanks for the comments, I've always liked how you commented on my channel, mutual respect. The 13T front sprocket will play with the ABS once in a while. Don't know why it is sporadic while the larger rear sprocket change doesn't seem to affect it. The top end loss is only a couple MPH so you probably won't notice it, but you definitely will notice that the bike pulls stronger in all four gears....... Have fun with that new exhaust.........
@@TeamDNFracing Awesome. That's excellent information. After another late day ride I noticed the bike definitely feels like it has more beans in the can. I looked closer at the header pipe and wow, what a difference vs stock. Like comparing you pinky to your thumb size wise.
It's smaller and lighter yet can still get you to where you want to go. Albeit the XT250 will get you there quicker and not get stuck as much (I'm talking both in stock oem form). The seat on the Trail125 is definitely not as comfortable as the XT250. Plus the Trail125 is buzzier at hardtop higher speeds vs the XT250. The Trail125 is easier for me to load and unload out of my truck bed. Trail125 has that very handy center stand for maintenance. But as far as maintenance goes the XT250 is way easier (has a dedicated oil filter vs having to take the side cover off and clean the spinner and screen plus replace the cover and spinner gaskets every 8k) and its intervals are much longer to include less chain slack adjustments. There are A LOT of other things I could ramble on about pros/cons versus wise. In the end I feel the XT250 is a more serious platform whereas the Trail125 is a more laid back just hop on and have casual care free ride (but it too can take you serious places if you give it some mods and or get off and push it out of stuckness a time or two). Best to check out all the reviews on both bikes if your planning on just buying one or the other. Hope this info helps 🙂

Thanks 🙂! Much appreciated.
Had no idea those ends went that far up in the handlebar. Very informative man, appreciate that!

Hey my doppelgänger , great informative video buddy , looking good 👍🏼
Thanks Hoppo 🙂!
Thanks for including the links. My wife is starting to build her Christmas list for mods and this will come in handy.
Very welcome. Finding the stuff is half the battle. Webike is top shelf when it comes to parts availability and shipping speed. Just sharing.
Looking good.....
Thanks 🙂! They definitely feel good too. Smoothed out my vibes.
@@findingneutral I've never really had a vibration problem with mine. Guess I'm just going so damned fast the vibes can't catch up....... "-)

Thank you sir
How do you like the Honda there compared to the xt 250
