One of the most interesting topics to me is if you could talk about how your parents were able to raise you in a society that is completely different from your culture, but still they managed to keep you in touch with your culture and religion! I admire that and respect it

I'm not Muslim but Christian and I love all your girls content. Its like having more sisters and I learn so much about your faith as well. I like it when you explain things about your culture/faith as well as I did not grow up knowing these things. I'd love to hear a podcast.
When Amanda cried, I almost cried to! Its hard to leave family, your hometown, and all your childhood memories and close that door. Its the end of a chapter and can be sad, but the next chapter is full of good things.
Just think of how long you have waited to be married to your fiancé. You wont have to say goodbye at the end of the day or the weekend. That this was the time you had been dreaming of.
You will wake up one day, sun shining, with your husband next to you, kids down the hall healthy and happy, your career where you want it, in your own home, family only a weekend trip away and realise you are happy - really happy - and this is what you prayed for.

Oh Amanda, I cried with you hunny. You are not alone, and your feelings are totally valid. I left my family in Australia and came to US and its been 4 years now and I'm just healing from the move. It's going to take time, and be sure to keep yourself busy and talk to your family/husband about how you are (actually) going and what you're feeling. Its so important to get it off your chest, I cant stress that enough. If I had to change something it would have been to set personal/development goals like reading more, and being more active in our community. Maybe this is your time to focus on your inner self and growth. You got this girl. Chin up!

Assalamu alaikoum beautiful souls! Mashallah alaikoum. As your sister, I loved this podcast. It was just girls talk. Ilhumdulilah you're all doing well. I agree with you all. New year resolutions are overwhelming. My only goal is easy. Inshallah I'll be better, n closer to Allah each n everyday. As muslims we're just supposed to do our best. Allah swt knows we're not perfect. The best thing is that we are trying to be better people everyday. We are progressing to know our lord swt n rasool saas as much as we can. We must try to emulate him as much as possible. We are all, " works in progress" til we meet him. May Allah swt make us all steadfast to meet him. We love you ladies, youre all so sweet n supportive of one another. I love that. Ilhumdulilah you have one another. Inshallah you'll always be this way with one another. You have a beautiful family, mashallah. Amanda, sweetheart, you're not losing your family, you're gaining another beautiful family, inshallah. Ilhumdulilah you'll still be close to your family. You're not moving out of state or country. May Allah swt make your wedding n life go smoothly. Loren, you'll make a great nurse, inshallah. (This is coming from an old r.n.) N lovely Leena, I'll never forget what I think Loren said about you. "On utube you're exactly like you are in real life, sweet n gentle." I'm sure I'm forgetting the real words she said, but it was a great compliment; n it is soooo true. Subhan Allah. May Allah swt make all if you successful in this life n more important in the next life, inshallah. It's so obvious how hard you all work, mashallah alaikoum ew waafikoum, ya Allah.

I can totally relate to Amanda. We're 3 sisters as well and I'm the youngest. My sisters went to study abroad and then right after, both got married same year. So I was always the one at home responsible for everything at home especially my parents. And I used to cry just thinking about leaving them after the wedding. And it's been 2 years. I still cry every time I let myself think of them. I'm sure none of the other 5 siblings feel the way I do. *Hugs* for Amanda. Just remember you can ask Allah to take care of them the way they took care of you.

It'll be an adjustment but you and Muhammad will have each other to lean on and that can really strengthen a relationship. Remember to communicate well, have patience with each other and give each other grace. Don't let issues build up rather work on them as they come. I enjoys this style a lot more! It felt like I was there with you all just chatting away. It also felt less staged and more natural than the vlogs, not that the vlogs were staged in anyway but felt like it took more energy to plan things for you all to do. Love you all!

Amanda I want to give you a big hug. I understand exactlyyy how you feel. That’s how I felt when I got married and it took me so long to adjust but eventually I did. I want you to know it will get better and you are doing nothing wrong putting yourself first. Your family is blessed to have you and that will never change. ❤️

Oh my God! Yes to a podcast. I recognized that gap in the podcasting space, so I started one myself to share my experiences as a Muslimah on a journey to building a healthy self esteem, body image and self love, and there's so much room for more. Will definitely listen to your podcast ☺️

I loved this video! And one thing I wanted to note that I observed THROUGHOUT this video is how sensitive, soft, and validating you guys are to each other and to each other’s feelings regardless of how big or small said concern is. It’s actually inspiring and affirming to witness. It makes me/reminds me to slow down while speaking and rest in kindness and softness more, something that seems very present in Leena when consoling Amanda and Loren Allahumma Barik. All of your personalities shine through and waltz together in a beautiful way and it’s so refreshing to witness. May Allah preserve you all Ameen!
Topics: Maybe invite Naeem on the podcast and have talk about that sister dynamic and his take on growing up amongst that feminine energy/having sisterhood
    2) Ramadan is coming up so perhaps like Cooking with The Asad Sisters while you talk about a specific topic whether it’s a Q+A etc!
    3) This isn’t a podcast style but would love to see a BTS “Content Day” when the three of you guys are together and what that looks like in terms of helping one another and content batching!
    Love, Hanaan

I loved this video, mashaAllah! What Amanda said really hit home for me. I lived in a small town my entire life and I am the youngest of 5 in my family. I got married when I was 21 and moved four hours away (from the US to Canada actually!). It was really hard for me at first and although it’s been two years it is still hard for me some days. Living in a new place (and new country in my case), with a new person and not having any family or friends to support me was a really big shock to my mental health. So many of the fears Amanda mentioned were fears I had as well. I can’t say I’m fully used to it but there was also a time when I thought I’d never make it this far. I give myself tons of props now for getting to where I am mentally and emotionally and you will get there too. My advice is to make tons of duaa, talk to your family often, visit as often as you can, and maybe even talk to a licensed professional counselor! All of those things will ease your journey and before you know it you will be enjoying your new life more than you thought you could. Best of luck inshaAllah to all three of you wonderful ladies! ❤️

I feel for you Amanda. Once you adapt to your new life things will definitely get easier in that aspect of leaving your parents house. You will start a family with your husband and focus on your new home with him. It’s hard to think of the “unknown” because we don’t have full control over our future. Take everything one step at a time and focus on what you can control. Stay strong 🥰

Oh my sweet Amanda. You made me cry. You will do great as a married woman and Mohamed us a good man. Your parents will be always there for you. MY dad told me something: you are like a bird, you need to fly with your own wings but i will always keep looking after you from the family nest , where you can come back to rest. Just enjoy the life and how it flows

Loved this style, would love to see more :) great perspective on goal setting and how Ramadan is a nice time of year to take stock and start new rather than new year which can feel quite pressurising and rushed. Thanks for sharing! x

I would love a podcast. As a non- muslin I want to learn more about. I grew up knowing my grandfather was a German-Turk who was Muslim, so I want to know more and learn about my heritage. Thank you ladies I love all three of you. I miss seeing your parents though ❤️
