Don’t let wedding planning get to you. Alhamdulilah Rabbal Alameen I was a July 2022 bride at a destination wedding. And there were different events to plan, and the piece of my advice that one of my best friends gave me when she got married that I held onto and sooo appreciate now (and took to heart) is “to enjoy the moment.” Because InshAllah everything will come and pass and if you are going to stress then that’s what will be remembered. So making a lot of Shukr and dua for Allah (SWT) to be there and take care of things because Allah (SWT) is there and is in control. And Ramadan is the most precious time to make dua for Allah (SWT) to make things run smoothly and with so much barakah.
Remember, HasbeeyaAllah Wa’ Nimal wakeel. Allah (SWT) is sufficient for me to ease and take care of my affairs. Recite this when things feel a bit overwhelming and you need a reminder.

A Kebaya is an upper garment traditionally worn by women from Indonesia. Kebaya is officially recognized as the national costume of Indonesia.
The use of Kebaya is now increasingly widespread, up to Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Thailand and throughout Southeast Asia. And this Kebaya traditional dress is being recommended as a world heritage by UNESCO.
Originally from Abaya clothing from Arabic, but with colonization in Indonesia for more than 350 years from Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, English and Japanese, traditional Abaya clothing from Arabic was influenced by a mixture of cultures and changed over time for hundreds of years, modified by Indonesian people to become what Indonesians call it KEBAYA.
Kebaya is an upper garment opened at the front traditionally made from lightweight fabrics such as brocade, cotton, gauze, lace, or voile, sometimes adorned with embroidery. The front is secured with either buttons, pins, or brooches.
These clothes ended up being the most beautiful clothes with beautiful carvings and patterns. Indonesian women have been wearing it for hundreds of years. even Muslim women use it when they get married, plus using their hijab.

It’s literally so stressful and expensive wedding planning I have almost called off the reception. I’m still considering downsizing to a beautiful private restaurant room because I’m so overwhelmed with the venue. Ugh I FEEL you I think I need medication for anxiety after this 😂😭
