You are allowed to feel whatever you are feeling when there's a major change you can't control. But nothing is going to change about who you are. A few years ago I noticed the skin on my belly getting lighter and lighter. I also have bigger und smaller very light patches on the lower half of my back. I think it's kinda pretty and as long as it is nothing to worry about medically all is good! I hope you don't let that get to you too much you are soo beautiful!

I'm so sorry to hear about your vitiligo, but I hope you know it doesnt make you less beautiful. Im so happy you shared that because i got diagnosed with Crohn's disease and Ive been having a hard time dealing with it, especially physically since I lost so much weight and i dont look like "normal" people. Like you said though, we cant let things outside of our control bother us too much, so im trying to remember that I didnt bring this on myself.

I have white patches on my whole back, though it's not vitiligo. It made me feel self conscious for yearssss. I even avoided the sun because the more tanned i was, the more apparent it became. I've finally just let it be and not care.
