May I say, this routine changed my life! I am completely bald but my 6yr old daughter has hair just like yours. For years, we have struggled to find products that work well with her hair. I watched this months ago, purchased these products, and have been using them to twist her hair since. It's been a game changer! I had to come back today to thank you. Yes, we females need more iron (ferrous bisyglinate) and when taken with vitamin c it helps your body to absorb the iron. Some forms may leave you with a sluggish gut or upset stomach, so talk to your pharmacist or dr when choosing which form to take.
You don’t have to wait for an hour to let the product sit, if you want definition then drying under the dryer (or using a diffuser) straight after you style your hair is best because your hair doesn’t have time to get frizzy while it air dries. :)

My friend got it and showed it to and that's exactly what it looked like. I think a protein treatment would help but do more research on it 💜
