A bad way to test a spark plug

Why Metal in Motion doesn't like to test for ignition spark by leaning the spark plug against a good ground and seeing if the plug fires. This isn't the first time this has happened to me!
As cheap as spark plugs are, check that you are getting fire to the spark plug, and then just replace the plug to avoid chasing your tail.

Good stuff. How did the two plugs compare when tested with a multimeter?
