Was this video "unearthed" recently? Anyhow, great find! I have always treasured his recording of this piece and others he made with Sir Malcolm Sargent and the LSO....
Awesome playing!
He played with such a quiet intensity with so much color and variety, which is rarely seen these days.....
Wonderful player. Never over-played or shredded. Always had a beautiful sound. Never got the recognition he deserved.
Every time I watch him play I can't breathe... Just let myself go...
Incredible! What a Master!
wow....his rendition is full of emotions... no wonder he's Heifetz's favorite student.
He sounds exactly like Heifetz!✨
Good Holy GOD he was gorgeous!

Wow! What bow work! And what sensitive vibrato!
He learned it from years of study with Jascha Heifetz.✨

Friedman, el más cercano en sonido a Heifetz.

It sounds so much like Heifetz. Enjoyed immensely. But too bad the pianist cannot make the Havanese triplet rhythm. It's the essence of this music.
Time stamp?
Has more feeling!
BTW would that happen to be Mr. Heifetz approaching him at the end....?!
