Damn he put a SKAR 4500 to these 15s... that's over 2000 watts to each Sub.... WOW!
I only have one 15 VXF (it laughs at the 1200 watts I have pushing it... that's not a joke either) and its so LOUD!
SKAR Subs are Crazy Loud!! Make sure you have the Power though
For sure these subs are monster's, i have 2 VXF 15s on a skar RP3500.1 and they seem to want more power. Awesome subwoofers for sure

@@jefftaylor4997 I have the SKv2-3500.1D on 2 12" EVL's and they run full tilt without issue...I'd want a second 3500 or a Taramps bass 8K if I went with the VXF's
Great video , I have a single Vxf 12in Running on a Taramp smart 3. I have to admit these subs can take some serious clean power. Ps love to see the farm animals reaction when you all pulled up.

I'm still beating on my skv2.2500
(running it @.7ohm) in my work truck, there built pretty well and affordable.. the only thing I've notice they did to make them cheaper was the cheaper rca inputs, but as long as your not putting them in and out a ton of times they should be good. I do wish they had made them with the tiffany style though..
I also had 1 12vxf d2 on my skv2.2500 @1ohm, but I got rid of it and bought x12v2 d2

Seen plenty of videos on skar and sundown but have never experienced ether live. Ive got 2 mtx 9512-04s being pushed by a twisted sounds 3.5k in a 2ohm load getting around 1150rms per sub in a 6th order. Going to have to be enough for now.
Wish he would of went around a walk through and said everything about the system.

I’m running the same exact set up on my black LTZ Avalanche.. 2 ZXF 15s but in a 4th order inclosure, run by the SKV2-4500.1D, and have Skar’s highest level components on the skv2-200.4.. finishing up the box soon.. I think you would like it man

I have had my Skar VXF 12 running 1750 rms on 1 ohm for a year now and I punish that sub everyday with no damage. I will soon run on the skar 2000 rms amp at 1 ohm. I say do it!!! I have there mids and highs also and they are so much louder and clearer then other setups i have had in the past.
I love my vxf .. Get one amazing Sq ported sounds like sealed
People like to hate on them but there products are good for the price and there customer service is really good from my experience

I got same 2 subs in a suburban on 2 skv2 1500s strapped at .5 ohm pushing 5k+
Aren't the skv's rated at 1ohm? Have you had any issues wiring them to .5ohms? I've heard that with impedance rise, you can wire lower and still not hurt the amp since the REAL wattage will be lower because of impedance rise.
@@bailey2517 yes I have 2 1 ohm vxf wired to .5 with no issues, I also have 2 batteries and a 250 amp alt, 0 issues, amp don't get hot at all

I have 2 of the VXF 15 on a Skar Audio RP3500.1D mono block and they are hitting harder then what he is doing. Idk if it the box he has or the ride but in my SUV it fkn slams. Very nice set up tho, Skar Audio is bad ass. Same thing as sundown, just not paying for the dumb name ahahahahaha

I wanna do 2 sundown 18s but the thing is they are only 3 thousand watts a piece so if i bought 2 of them would they only be 3 thousand watts max or could i wire them to put out 6 thousand watts which is what i am wanting.

Well u really can’t compare them skar is a budget brand sundown audio is not but skar does have some things that are better than sundown id say for budget he’ll yeah skar is better but if u wanna spen a lot i mean a lot of money u can go sundown but I see people who got the money for sundown and other shi but go with skar because they shi hit hard asf very underated good sound quality and more affordable u can hit 160s with skar and ik someone with a trunk build hitting 156 157 trunk build with skar

Dontré Robinson depends on how much u wanna spend the vxf is better than the evl has better power handling and can hit the low frequencies better can power a pair of those with a 6k amplifier a single vxf with a 3k

Yucai my dad car speakers can pick up good bass songs but then it either someone doesn’t know how to do it or they do too low that the speakers can’t pick up sometimes when the song go it start to distorted and I hate I wish I had a cheap setup

1500rms with no problems 3000max . I have a audiopipe 3k amp on them & they keep asking for more.. honestly it's more then enough for my daily driver.. I'm a happy camper with my skar audio 12s
