I love your videos, Sorry I know I am watching them out of order, but I live in Minnesota so I really only just discovered your channel. Its like everything you point out are the same type of things I am interested in. I almost never comment on video, I usually just watch videos and like them, but you show so much cool stuff and a lot of it is different than we would have here in the states.
i'd never been to fond, with 30-40's cars, but these showcased here,,,look impressive,,,,that packard looks great,i could not go to these auctions,,,i would buy the lot,lol
I've watched many strolls through old cars on youtube and 13:24 I see a 2 door '38 Chevy....Not many of that year anywhere..I have a 4 door Aussie Holden bodied '38 and even less of those seem to be around.
..so many vehicles,so much room to store them.much get frustrating when you want to buy them all, i never bid on stuff i need, only stuff i like..lol...great vid...i believe the horse drawn car, was called a ''Bennett Buggy''
The windmill is actually for recharging batteries. Back in the days before electricity came in on a wire, they used to light their houses with batteries then recharged the batteries during the day.
@@rosewhite--- haven't done much with it yet, bought thinking I needed parts for my cutlass, but couldn't bring myself to tear it apart, so it's still beside my shop
Just found your channel a few days ago. What a find in that abandoned antique store! So much stuff. This auction looks like a good find too! Won't be surprised when you hit 100,000 subs soon. Look out American Pickers!
I've been thinking about your situation It may be time to open not a larger store, but a whole 'nuther store. An old car dealership would be perfect. Focus that store on transportation related stuff. Even use a couple of the garage bays to start a vintage parts biz, disassembling all these vintage rides you come across. Parts is where it's at, the money for parts is way better than even restored cars in most cases. That would give you a place to keep things like that inspection car you let go way to cheap and lost money on. Certain things have to be held for a while until that one right buyer comes along, auctions are not the answer for everything unless you find specialized auctions for specific things. I don't know if where you live can support such a business as a store related to petrolianna but it does work in some places. Parts can be sold via the net anywhere, and shipping is not that big of deal for rare parts. They will pay the freight and then some if they have to have that part.
Alex was watching a video of yours and you are searching in a box of stuff and found a car that David Hassleoff drove in his T.V. show you called it a Camaro when it was really a Firebird
I would go broke there just buying and restoring old tools. That place is a dreamland. Too bad I'm stuck in Houston. Anybody have a shipping container I can borrow? lol
Re oil cans: What is the price difference if the can is open and empty, versys if the can is still sealed and filled with oil? Say it's a 1960s can. Is the price mainly in the rarity and the graphics and whether it's open or filled is mostly irrelevant?
@ 3:07 ,that looks like a Douglas flat twin motor cycle engine ,converted to OHV... @ 6:-08 .thats a Durant, built by GM. In Australia they were called Rugby... shameless car marketing even then . The car next to the savaloy is a Ford Mk1 consul , the first cars to have Mc Pherson Strut suspension
I would rebuild one if I could find a steam tractor project for sale with original implements for farming it’s one of my dreams to have one to farm or a fordson
That "airplane" motor and Hoover Hydraulic propeller may not have been on any kind of plane. They used to make a snow machine, basically a lightweight body on skis, powered by air like an airboat. It's from late 30's to early 40's Intended for military use but they never really went big time. More as vid progresses.
Um, you should check the car with the 3 stars much more closely. Could have been Patton's vehicle or made to look like it. It would take a lot of digging to find out, but most of it can be done online these days.
@Curiosity incorporated in all honesty 85% of those cars are junk it would cost more than they are worth to fix them.though a couple of those later model cars could still be fixable if you just wanted to get it mechanically running and safe to drive. you could take one of the older cars if the frame and body were solid enough and make a rat rod out of it.that could be an interesting project though.
I just have to wonder why so many old vehicles are still around in that area. one would think with the snow and road salt and all they would all just be totally gone in no time.
really? you'd think they'd use many metric tons. Of course, most Americans think only of snow, ice and cold when we think of Canada. With a lot of snow and such, you'd think heavy rust would come with it, but there seems to be a lot of old stuff that's been left outside that has only surface rust. I'm sure some is quite rusted, but stuff from the teens and 20s of last century that isn't just rusted away doesn't seem right to me.
In the western provinces they use more sand & pea gravel than salt, it works better and doesn't cause rust, when I lived in Ontario cars would turn to dust in 15 years.
Hmm, well one would think the weather alone would do it, but apparently not all that fast. Some of that stuff had to have been setting outside for many decades, yet it's still there. sorta anyway. I tell ya, if a guy had a place to do the work, buying the parts only cars and parting them out and reselling parts would be the way to go. Guys that want original parts will pay the price.
Couldn't care less about oil cans? That's blasphemy to my ears....haha. That Enarco can goes for stupid money around here, even in that condition. I'm not a Honda car guy but, that car is cool. Always liked the steam mini vehicles too. Cheers and good luck.
I "exist" in the world where I see someone paying through the nose for junk there's no current use for, while no one will pay me as much for the same junk!
The proper name is Carriage doors when we were kids we were told it would be like committing suicide to open that door on the open road, those guys were smarter than that we would never open those doors in a moving vehicle, nowadays they don't even make them because people would open them up on the freeway haha
How many vedios do you have..my though send them to discovery...i hate canadian pickers..snow shoes and pop bottles....they make us canadian look like terds...you show alot of assoeted cool old stuff.cars parts motors toys old stoves motorcycles..i think i saw an icebox fridge..sooo much cool stuff you show...way better viewing then canadian pickers...p.s..still havent seen what car you got from when you got your bmw...black little car with the crimpled fender..i think it was a spyder modle but not to sure
man, oh man, oh man. What a thrill to see all those diamonds in the rough. Jetson's came to mind when you looked at the motor cycle car.
if only i could buy that all id be in heaven, what a large neat auction you must of had a blast, thanks for sharing and look forward to more content
wow, lots of really cool old vehicles!
Great outing! Thanks for bringing us along!!
I own 13 AMC Pacers! And yes the Passenger side door is longer....Wish I lived closer! Some great cars in this Video!
WOW! That auction gets me excited, wish I could be there!
it was a big sale!
There were a lot of interesting cars in there!
One man's junk is another man's treasure👍
My history lessons on cars.. thanks!
There are some really fascinating old cars here. If I could I buy at least twenty. Ha ha. Drive the neighbors nuts.
Thank you Alex again! Since I am a car guy I had to watch this one. Dreams continue! Thank you for that!
Great video! This had to be one of the best auctions ever.
Cool hat Alex ! Always enjoy your show !
This is so interesting thank you! 👍🇨🇦
those mini guys are the big ticket items for sure!
Thanks for the videos
Fantastic shape on all that sheet metal. Shows how Sask shines. Ontario stuff like that is long gone. That "Desoto" wagon (20:25) is really a Dodge.
Glad you got some footage of this auction! I would have loved to go, but just didn’t have the time 😞
9:22 I would have LOVED that wagon!! I sure wish I could have been there also!
I actually ended up buying the Vista cruiser at the sale

Looks like a candy store...good find!
Hope you get what you are looking for all the best in the future c.a.s
Man look at the pipes on that Honda.....Old skool Bosozoku. Lol
those stationary engines would be fun and good investment.
Hey there
I am from Pakistan and I really like your channel
Stay cool and blessed
thanks Shahzada :)

ZIGgassedUP Hi Zig, I had a '32 chev. in Sydney in 1961 with a badge on the side saying "body by Holden". Mick, now in Melbourne.
My second car was a Ford Prefect and I had a 62 Metropolitan for a while.
..so many vehicles,so much room to store them.much get frustrating when you want to buy them all, i never bid on stuff i need, only stuff i like..lol...great vid...i believe the horse drawn car, was called a ''Bennett Buggy''
You sound like Ryan Reynolds (DEADPOOL) That's cool & your docu. was cool too.Nice job buddy!!
The old pick ups are my favorite.
Coke machine!!
Flat head @ 4:08!!
71 Impala @ 5:30
Franklin? @ 6:03
Packard @13:33 yeah!
57? Caddy @ 20:27
I love this car
Good job on the video!
Thanks!
Good luck finding replacement glass for the top of that wagon!
Was thinking the same thing
Thumb up for this vid
thanks Cody, just posted part 2!
The windmill is actually for recharging batteries. Back in the days before electricity came in on a wire, they used to light their houses with batteries then recharged the batteries during the day.
Never seen a Vista Cruiser before...very classy.
I own it now
@@flamesndents Did you get it restored and any pix of it?
@@rosewhite--- haven't done much with it yet, bought thinking I needed parts for my cutlass, but couldn't bring myself to tear it apart, so it's still beside my shop
@@flamesndents You'd be king of road if you can get it done up.
@@rosewhite--- I have decided on a different route for my cutlass engine so will likely get the Vista running and sell it
Sucks to be living in a low populated country. I never find anything cool from anywhere. Canada seems like the pickers paradise. Thanks for sharing :)
That blackhole pinball is a popular one would be worth $3K to $5plus k depending on the condition
Just found your channel a few days ago. What a find in that abandoned antique store! So much stuff. This auction looks like a good find too! Won't be surprised when you hit 100,000 subs soon. Look out American Pickers!
At 20:25 the station wagon is not a De Soto but a Dodge. Trust me, I'm old.
Especially since it say Dodge right on the front of the hood.. lol
I want everything there!

Nice for you to take me with you.
The car at 6:02 is a Franklin, air cooled. made in Syracuse New York
I wish you would have shown more of the co-op tractors. They are Canadian made. 😁
We have a 1949 E3 with the cutting table attachment.
You rock!! Thanks for taking us along.
I will publish part 2 later tonight with the auction :)
Curiosity Incorporated I love the Lincoln....the big black Buick and the 61 Dodge!
Jason Wells GOOD LUCK 👍
That Honda and kawasaki for me
Like those 2 Austin A40 Devon's what did they go for ????? wished I had a chance to bid on them ........from BC
Liked & subbed.
thanks Bob! If you have time check out our other videos :)
It would be interesting to know how the 1915 Milburn electric car got from Maine to Saskatchewan.
more interesting if they drove it!
J Leno would be interested in that Honda and electric car especially nice
Sean Roberts I heard he was there on Friday not sure if it was true tho
Alex was watching a video of yours and you are searching in a box of stuff and found a car that David Hassleoff drove in his T.V. show you called it a Camaro when it was really a Firebird
At 6:49 the tractor was a “cross motor Case” made by Case tractors
What was the theory on the Pacer doors? I'm wondering about the thought process on that.
Easier for the passengers to get in the back with one bigger door
the one you did not know is a 1928/9 Durant it was in with the model T line up the one with the bars on the grill
I would go broke there just buying and restoring old tools. That place is a dreamland. Too bad I'm stuck in Houston. Anybody have a shipping container I can borrow? lol

6:06 could be an air-cooled Franklin.
Bought the Vista Cruiser and Archie's model t at that sale
Honda also had a small 2 cylinder car in 1973
6:10 is a Franklin I believe!

I think you’re right
well that's probably where it started out... no telling what it's done since then.
Been to plenty of sales like that social media makes a circus like atmosphere only thing you will get is coffee and a bad sandwhich
They had pulled pork sandwiches, I was happy :)
was that a 74 dodge monaco beside the 59 metior? if so i would love to have it and turn it into a bluesmobile and ride around in sweden :)

Those stars are add ons you bought at an accessories store. If you lived in Edmonton, Midland Auto Supply would be the place for that stuff.
Always am very curious as to what size of engine is in those 70's with a V8.
That's a nice WW2 Jeep you can get some good money from them
If only I had money enough to go an auction like that….
I wish could have a auto body shop fix. Car and tuck some body very mad to fix up
So when you say throw some fresh buffalo over the seats ,do you mean a still steaming freshly dead buffalo ?
That's not an Auction, it's a time capsule museum up for sale!
An auction like this is insane for someone here in the Maritimes! We just don’t see these
👍🏻
hi inead you locatction
just remember there are no friends at a auction
Dodge and Plymouth were not affiliated in the early fifties
Of course they were. Dodges were rebadged Plymouths in Canada.
Bo McGlocklin built tanks for ww2 and still builds the m1 abarms today
You should have gotten that Black Hole Pinball, thats like 4000 USD, i hope they didnt store that outside for too long.
You need the honda and the packard.
Those were some offal big bug splatters on your windshield

No, I just have dark eyelashes. Looks like I’m wearing eyeliner! :)

Any sellers
Shahzada Mustafa me too, and I also want a fortKnox gold vault (full of gold)for $10 lol.
You aint gettin nothin at a sale like that. Nuthin
When i see old American cars i always wonder how many had a dead body in the boot
