For me personally being shorter is better in boxing since you can see the oppoents open parts which you can strike its just that your arms are gonna be shorter and so I have to get close and I cant throw jabs from afar
Same it forces me to use footwork and feints to close the distance. Double or triple jabbing helps and faking the jab. I’m 5’8 and 150, I had a sparring partner who was 130, however he was 6’6
It’s like he was hitting me across the ring his wingspan was insane
That's actually so freaking weird. 130 and 6'6 is very underweight. You usually never see things like that ever happen.
@@Pokéfan1388 yeah he's an absolute stick,
he's been putting on more muscle though
As a short fighter slipping the jab n Rolling under it works the best
Very true! Can’t be too predictable with it tho, that uppercut is coming
For everyone asking, I'm the short guy💀.
I'm an amateur MMA fighter, I compete at 61kg (135lbs), I'm 5'10, making me relatively tall for the weight class. All my fights are on RUclips if you're interested, my names Max Mordente.
Technical beast bro keep it up
so this is how it feels to be big bro
woah hes really good
Many more videos with him coming shortly!
@@POVboxing Pun intended?😂
@@qwertlm2345 😂😂😂 actually no, but good spot
the short guy is an absolute brawler and has good timing!
My guys cold
Now this is proper sparring!
Keep him at distanz with konstantly throwing a hard jab
You’re right, I was trying to mix it up a bit more though to make it entertaining
