Often stylists will tuck in the track ends so they don't lift up and stick out. Many will fold the ends to create a thicker track (density). It really depends on the installation and if they are doing sections to match the growth pattern better. All stylists have their own technique.
No problem! You should mention that to your stylist next time you are in their chair so they can accommodate you and it won't be so uncomfortable. Track density varies per person as one head is not created equal, some can handle the thickness and heaviness of the track being thick and others need it to be fine or Micro to feel weightless but still give you the volume you want.
Thank you kindly
Where do you get it done?

My extension lady ...folded the ends and now it's so thick and bumpy and she says it's for density?
