Right hand dominant, phone has ALWAYS been in my left front pocket, keys, wallet, cash, whatever in right front pocket. It’s all muscle memory now. I always kept my wallet in my right front pocket since I was a kid.
Great show. I agree with Jason. I genuinely believe Tech RUclips birthed the “annual phone upgrade” mindset. Before tech RUclipsrs, it wasn’t a thing. I don’t know if it was simple laziness or the need to release timely content, but they began comparing the latest phones to the one they had on hand, making easy, low-effort content that required minimal research. Manufacturers and consumers know that fewer than 10% of users upgrade yearly. Like ANY industry-whether cars or TVs-companies release new models annually because it’s easier to sell the “latest and greatest” to someone ready to upgrade than push an older model with no changes over the past 2-3 years. I upgraded from a 14 Pro and kinda overwhelmed learning a lot of new functionality. Like new “photographic styles” is NOT old photographic styles.
@@rags015 it’s reported that most upgraders fall into the 3-5 year range (34%), with about 30% on a 2-year cycle. I’m guessing the 6 year is as low as the annual upgrade cycle. These are iPhone numbers, I’m unsure about Android users’ upgrade habits.
FYI: Tractor Boys is a football reference to Ipswich Town FC who got promoted last year to the Premier League in the UK. Surprised Stephen didn’t get a sports ball reference 😂
I mean. You hold your phone in your off hand to use your dominant hand to tippity tappity. Right handed = left pocket. You’re correct to admit you were wrong about the rest also
I have second iphone for work and it’s always the culprit for small scratches on my screens. I’m pretty sure it’s the camera lens. So, are you putting any other iPhones with your daily driver?
Regarding the AI generated podcasts, it only makes me think of when people hated talking to answering machines when they called a support line. - Apple Pencil up - Battery % on - iPhone in my pants pocket on my dominant hand side

I’m right handed and I put my iPhone on the left pocket of my jeans
Glad you are safe. Beautiful setting

Holy smokes! An iPhone 14 pro! You should have held on to it till 2027. It’s best to upgrade every six years.

I had no idea what a traffic circle is.

Actually with jeans I typically put it in a back pocket
It’s called a roundabout in the USA also, we have several in the city I live in and that’s how they are addressed

Whichever pocket has nothing in it at that time is where my phone goes 😂

hm interesting, will see what Jason does...
I’m left handed. And have always kept my phone in my right pocket. And always text and navigate my phone with my right hand.
Regarding the AI generated podcasts, it only makes me think of when people hated talking to answering machines when they called a support line.
- Apple Pencil up
- Battery % on
- iPhone in my pants pocket on my dominant hand side
2/3 of the right choices 😉 - SR
I am right handed but I use for phone in my left hand which means my phone goes in the left pocket.
Right handed, right pocket. But I also hold my phone with my right hand. Now I’m reevaluating though.
I am right handed but the iPhone 16 Pro Max goes in the left side cargo pocket of my pants because the phone is always held in my left hand.
Left pocket.
And I’m right handed
...wat
I fully agree that the iPhone should always go in the left front pocket. I’m right handed!
Can't believe this is the consensus... - SR
I’m left handed but I keep my phone in my right front pocket. My left pocket has my keys, AirPods, etc.
Wild how so many keep phone in non-dominant pocket...
Left Handed, iPhone stays in left side pants pocket, use iPhone with right hand.
Wait...if you use with right hand, why not keep in right pocket?
Don’t ignore the best iPhone 📱🔋 battery ever in the 16 PM. It’s almost reason enough to buy.
