How could one person possibly keep up with all the name's of these character's and what they do and most importantly what they all look like!?!?! It's like the equivalent of trying to remember everything single thing that you ate for breakfast after you were born!

Red Star is kind of considered to be a G.I. Joe member, differently than the others that just sometimes teamed up with the Joes. BUT you did just make me think that in one universe Daina joined the team, so maybe her animated version could've been in this video.

Found that Psyche Out does have an animated appearance in the 1987 Road Toad/Razor commercial. He is also running behind Jinx in the space shuttle commerical that featured Crystal Ball and Armored Cobra Commander.
Wow, must have took you quite some time to gather this. I think the Sunbow cartoons still have the best quality of drawing, the 1987 en 1988 toylines would have been great if they had done them.
That was from the commercial for G.I. Joe #1. No one actually calls him Grand Slam but I assume the two guys in that outfit have to be Flash and Grand Slam. Who knows which is which? 😁
There's a few torchy flamethrower dudes . Few guys with lasers. Handful of radio guys and docs. Luv how they denounce stereotypes by having half the Arctic team African American. Accurate to how the real army is diverse. Whole lotta heavy artillery and maybe more jumping out of planes +Navy. US Flag was a big toy and needed troops. My favorites though are random guy in Hawaiian shirt, sailor with a bird instead of rifle, couple K9 cops , shirtless kung fu master on the battlefield and the one, the lone tunnel rat . I think all the women were at least part ninja. Many ninja,full on. Was about to say I wouldn't have minded a big tall lady shooting missiles or driving a tank. Then I remember they had exactly that right from the start. She was a model. I think they had it all Covered
Chuckles (the dude in the Hawaiian shirt) was basically G.I. Joe's answer to Maverick P.I. and Miami Vice - he was a US Army CID Agent specializing in undercover operations. Here's the thing, though. His file card heavily implies he went undercover _in the Army in the first place_ on behalf of an Insurance company, likely as part of a Fraud investigation, then _proceeded to keep going further_ under cover by taking high risk missions, which is what _got him noticed by G.I. Joe._ So, he doesn't even technically work for either the Joes or the U.S. Government - he's, at his heart, an _Insurance investigator._ It's a shame they had to make him a Mute in the Movie. A subplot involving him alone, or his own Episode in the Cartoons, would have been insanely wild, and ended with either a heavy, funny punchline, or some amazing arrest, or both.

When DIC took over production of the show GI Joe has never been the same. The show and figures became more kid friendly. Less edgy

I did see that but it's extremely brief compared to his appearance in an actual DIC episode.
