As Christians, our focus should be the Gospel NOT secular movements such as Social Justice, Critical Race Theory, etc... SIN is our problem. When we get distracted by worldly causes, Jesus is no longer the center. None of the world’s evils can be solved apart from the Gospel. Repent and believe the Gospel, that’s the message Jesus proclaimed. He never involved Himself in worldly movements.

As Christians--in Christ--there is not Jew, Greek, Slave, Free, etc. we are all one in Christ. for me, that settles the debate in terms of how Christ followers view one another. Outside of the church--as it pertains to Amerca--- we live in a country that was founded during a time when slavery was a thing---all over the world... and as such it was part of America. We then fought a civil war where THOUSANDS of white peopl died to END Slavery---a massive move of justice and sacrifice. Then we had the civil rights movement (Oh how Martin Luther king Jr. would be broken-hearted by the current social justice movement!)---now we have people of ALL ethnic backgrounds--who are totally free to work, pursue education, etc... we've had a black president... black people (as are all people) are free to pursue happiness in America... if we're so bad---try living in ________ pick your country you think is better. I don't get this at all... it's super scary. Instead of seeking reform and improving relations--WE'RE GOING BACKWARDS--I'm not racisist... but I'm being told I am... It's wrong and it's a dangerous path.

She seems to choose to live back 60 years ago. The USA has made great progress on race relations since then (look at public survey results, until Obama became President). Why does she seem unwilling to acknowledge the progress? She talks about all of us being one, but then she also talks about not assimilating. So what does she want?

Peter said to them, “You know it’s forbidden for a Jewish man to associate with or visit a foreigner, but God has shown me that I must not call any person impure or unclean.
    Acts 10:28 CSB

Hey family in CHRIST. If all lives matter was a universally acceptable ideal in the church.... then why did God give Peter a vision? Did a church leader have to be taught by God directly and through the apostle Paul that gentiles lives matter?
God himself made a distinction because gentiles were being ostracized.
So I'll leave you with this question... after God's message to Peter did everyone fall in line and repent? Is it possible that after all the civil rights laws that have passed that there are still people, ideologies and systems that try to act like ACTS 10:15 doesn't exists.? If any of this is true then whats your strategy for highlighting this and fixing. Be blessed family.

If you have trusted Christ as your sin-bearer as the New Testament teaches, then you are “lumped together” and your fundamental identity is a disciple of Jesus, not any ethnic nor culturally-recognized or espoused identity. This is where all followers of Jesus start - from within the Gospel. Then, we aspire to live with this understanding creating a mentality that will then stand against injustice or inequity as a manifestation of the Gospel, not some social construct. Don’t be deceived, the false teachings... the “myths” of I Timothy 1:3-7 are being energized like never before to distract us from our true identity and calling. If the Gospel is our core, the church will have redemptive power to bring about change to the lives of people. If a social movement is our goal then we will lose any possibility for social change and the Gospel will be veiled.
