This week Schony747 features lots of trams from the Shrine of Remembrance on St Kilda Road Melbourne. This section of track is the busiest tram corridor in the world with trams running past the camera every minute or so during the am and pm peaks. It's also a great place for different classes of trams with the Comeng Z3, Comeng B2 and Siemens Combino Trams making regular appearances.
Have a great week - Brenden S.

👍👍👍
Thanks alot 😀😀
Because it's so constantly busy, it must be tricky to schedule track repairs or replacement on that section!
Most track repairs are undertaken at night between services. When an emergency happens during the day, it can be really problematic
interesting to see the different wheelconfigurations and constructions
It's the interesting thing about this network. So many classes of trams
awesome video
Thanks 😀😀
Are there plenty of places along that road where a tram can switch to the other track to bypass any broken down trams?
From Uni to the suburbs you have the Latrobe St, William St, Kings Way and Park St onto St Kilda Rd Diversion. At the Arts Centre you can also turn right into Southbank Boulevard, Kings Way and Park St and St Kilda Road. Opposite way from the suburbs.
Isnt swansston street the busiest corridor?
Take out the number 1 at Southbank Boulevard and St Kilda Road is a continuation of Swanston St and its still the busiest
