Great tutorial, but discovered some minor errors. 06:07 Should be "equals or exceeds" 09:18 Dials are revealed one at a time, in order of initiative, lowest to highest. 16:37 Boost action can only be done with the S-Foils closed, not opened. The point of having them opened is to avoid the one die penalty to attack rolls.
9:18. This error was in the first video too. Dials are NOT simultaneously revealed. The dials are revealed and ships moved one at a time as ships are activated from lowest to highest initiative. You don't get to see higher initiative dials until lower ones are done moving and taking action.
Not surprised at all on how many pricks took the time to give you shit about the (perfectly understandable) mistakes in the previous version of the tutorial, and how few now take the time to thank you about the corrections and all the errata addressed. Thanks for posting.
A tutorial should serve as a reference. The previous video had some severe flaws. By pointing these out, we make sure that people who are just starting out play the right way. But I agree that criticism should be worded respectfully and objectively.
18:42 Can a barrel Roll be executed to avoid object or ship collision. In other words, I take a #3-45 turn and barrel roll at the end of it to avoid collision or must the initial move be resolved before the barrel roll can be executed??
The initial move must be resolved first. That means, if by the end of your move you lose your action (due to collisions, for example), you can not barrel roll or boost to reposition.
Ok, so one big different from version 1; the evade token MODIFIES a blank or a focus result, rather than ADDING an evade result. Have i got that right?
Hi, was there ever a second part released for this video? Also, I heard that with the transition to AM Games there was something called 2.5 rules. Is that something to concern myself over if I am a new player?
The second part is here ruclips.net/video/ezWeBs1GcCg/видео.html. When Atomic Mass Games took over the license from FFG they made changes to the 2.0 rules through their website. If your playing with friends you're probably fine with the 2.0 rules. If you are playing competitively, then I'm guessing the 2.5 rules would be necessary to learn. Most of it appears to be point value tweaks and banned cards. I would need to study the whole rules again to see if they made changes to the core game rules.
I've never seen your stuff before, but I'm already skeptical when you say, "takes about 45 minutes to play". Yeah, that's what it says on the box, maybe. But anyone who's played a time or two knows that's utter B.S. The only way this game only take 45 minutes to play is if you set a 45 minute time limit and count points at the end. I'd much rather hear, "the published play time is about 45 minutes but in reality it takes about 60-90 minutes to play".
you are absolutely the best in explaining how to play a game. have you considered being a Teacher? you have a gift for explaining things clearly...
Nice PowerPoint you did which makes it easy to learn how to play this game.
Great tutorial, but discovered some minor errors.

So basically great tutorial except he screwed up the most important parts
Yikes. Thanks for the warning I’ll find a better video.
This is the BEST tabletop game explanation I’ve ever watched! Thank you! I’ve liked and subscribed.
Just bought this for me and my lad, absolutely brilliant explanation thanks
Quite simply the best rules guides out there. Thank you so much for your work!

The tutorial is really clear to learn with! So easy to understand through the animation.
This is a very good tutorial. I'm not a good teacher so it's nice to have a video to refer friends to.
They just had a strong rules change. I think it is worth it to revise this video.
I love these videos. Any chance you could edit in the updates to the rules?
Thank you for making this. Screw the haters.

Many thanks! Was looking for a refresher~
Super useful thank you for taking the time to create the content!

Your videos are great. I really like them!
What about point system when forming your squads
Great tutorial, thanks! :) Would you be so kind and prepare another one for Heroes of the Aturi Cluster Campaign rules?
I'm just starting out. Is this video updated to the latest rules?
17:30 - Does an evade token not just remove a hit result?
yeah it does, this is an error in the tutorial.
So this is what Han watched before the Cestle run
Kessel Run : )

You have to do a 2.5 version. You are very good.
Very good!! I like your videos! Can your next videos be about the game : Nevsky from GMT!!
Worldclass Video!!! Thx a lot
Great video.
I found it a lost opportunity for FFG to ignore the Missions in 2nd edition.
your video inspire me to play
Just curious why you did not mention star wars legions after xwing and armada.. is it not harsh?
