Look at a Taekwondo sparring in the 90s. You see a BIG difference. Old school taekwondo sparring is aggressive.
The problem with this sport is that it's moved away from lethal skill and into just tickling each other with angles that in real life would get you slammed on your head in seconds. Makes me so sad as someone who used to be obsessed as a teenager.
It definitely evolved.
