Me, I'm trying to re organise my room but I'm still confused
I have pretty big room(5 meters x 6meters) but I also have 3 windows in 3 walls(don’t ask how) and the 4th wall is where the door is so pretty much washed space and I need a lot of thing, vanity, desk, big wardrobe and full bed...

My window is placed closer to one wall and if i moved a bed near it it would block the door and i want to just take the guest bedroom

Listen. I have a bed. For a single person. And that’s 2/3 of the room. You can walk barely open the door without hitting it on the bed. This is a tiny room. How am I supposed to fit my closet in there?

My king sized bed that I shared with my sister and cousin would nearly take up all the space in the room. We had one long dresser which you could only open the bottom drawers half way cause the bed got in the way. Also we had the door to the backyard so we had 2 door. We moved out of there 3 years ago and now I got my own room that’s a good size
Nice ideas but this room is quite spacious and has an entire wall of storage! Looking for suggestions for a 10’ x 10’ or 10’ x 12’ room with a standard closet.

@@williampennjr.4448 Most rooms I've come across are 10ft x 10ft which is about 9 sqm. Not a lot of space... 13.5 sqm is huge. That's like living room size.

STEP 3- Use a FULL size bed, No need to go twin HERE cuz this room is SPACIOUS ya'all

IKR....I just moved into a small old house when my mom got it from my grandpa and it has a odd very small layout plan so my room only has space for 1 twin bed , 1 dresser (Skinny thin one) , 1 Bedside table, 1 Small bookshelf thing, and a tv. It’s smol

Legit Gamer yes, but her ideas don’t really work for a bedroom that’s actually small. For starters, you don’t have enough space for two large nightstands, let alone a queen bed, and a fold out body mirror. But it was nice of her to try😏

This is great! Finally I can arrange our small bedroom so my husband can do his work while he choose to “work from home”. Tip: Place the curtain rods higher, almost near the ceiling for a larger/higher ceiling room feel. You don't have to follow the top of the window slot.

I'm out here with about 12 inches between my bed and my desk for me to sit, about 8 sq ft of open floor space, and my closet isnt even in my room.
Try different layouts by your own and you will find ur perfect space
Having the bed under/in front of the windows seems to be something very American. (Not judging just noticing). I would take the master bedroom layout and flip it around. So when you wake up you can look out of the windows and enjoy the light and the view. Also if you have to put a desk put it under a window so you can have a lot of natural light while working, reading. Put a little bench in the room so you can sit and read not a chair. And last but not least why putting your shoes in your bedroom? Leave them where they belong in the corridor/entry room/ by the door.

Baroness James American here 🙋 and I would never place a bed under a window unless there were NO other option. I also don’t know anyone that does. That is the first thing I noticed and thought....nope.....but maybe if I ignore that, I can find some other useful hints.

When adding curtains make sure to hang them high. When hanging it low like this, it makes the room look even more shorter.

In my experience, the activity layout is the most inviting for kids! Good for their own spaces to have lots of space for play. :)

I have usually climbed on the bed and tried to jam the wall side bedding into the space. Not a lovely look for the bed or for me!

Honestly, I've had my bed against a wall to leave more space in the room for three years now (college living), and I just got used to the inconvenience. When you're making the bed, if you put on the corners against the wall first, you can pull the sheets around on the free side a lot easier
Wow this bedroom is HUGE! In my country a space like that is a living room. I'm trying to find videos of actually small spaces for a double bed but all I see is spacious room where you can 0lace tons of things and still have space.
As a newlyweds one of our main problem is having a small space & how to organize things with a perfect lay out that matches our taste, age and nature of work especially in our bedroom. Cool - but your 13 square meter tiny bedroom equates to just about 140 square feet, which is large for bedrooms in older homes, particularly in ranch homes built throughout the 1950s and early 1960s in my hometown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. My "master" bedroom is 10 x 12 - 120 square feet, and in it I have a full/queen size canopy bed, a triple dresser with large mirror, a 5 drawer tall bureau and a 2 drawer night stand, plus a wing chair.

My layout right now. Don't have curtains to change. Bed in the middle that I push to the wall after some months or whenever I am bored. Wardrobe fixed, can't move. Have a desk but can't move it because its shelf is fixed in the wall. A wall shelf/stand fixed on the wall... Can't really change the layout

Arghhhh my parents are getting scammed there is a house for 157k it is lot more bigger and modern but there is also a house for what the original price was Is 100k nothing modern going on they keep raising the price to 147k they left the 157k house cause it was too much they are thinking of remodeling the 147k home that is going to cost more than 157k there was a house 1 month later on the app going for 115k looked soo good and modern everything was great but my parents again FUCKING IGNORED IT I EVEN TRIED TELLING THEM IF U BUY THIS HOME THEN U WILL HAVE MONEY FOR FURNITURES THEY DECLINED NOW WE HAD TO SKIP BLACK FRIDAY CAUSE WE BROKE THEY FINALLY RELIZED THEIR STUPID DECISION

13.5 sqm is not small. I have a 12sqm elongated room and it definitely helps to have a built-in wardrobe on the other end to save space. The trick in small rooms is to limit the width of your nighstands, study tables and closet to 30-40 cm. Beyond that will make the room feel smaller.
