It always happened to me when I played Disney infinity
Happened to me once in early 2021. Had 98/100 things in Bowsers Fury and it occurred. Scared me half to death.
It happens on other consoles than the switch too. Ive had it happen with my Wii on numerous occasions.

I remember when i was designing a mii on my wii u the buzzing sound came and i sprinted to my living room and stayed there with my parents😭-(i was around 6)

The only thing scarier than that is an overheat warning with it like following a fan overloading or something and just making a very loud sound that no fan should ever make

As someone who has Autism, I always got surprised when the game crashed with that buzzing noise! Loud crowds, I can handle. Other loud sounds like most machines and listening to music, I can handle. A console crashing with a buzz sound, my body gets scared… This is one of the only things that scare me in video games. Other than that, I’m pretty much fearless in video games!
as another autistic, i can handle most loud/sudden noises but its the same with me; this makes me jump out of my skin

My scariest error sequence was the gamecube starting without disc.
I know it was meant to happen since no disc isn't a error but dear Jesus was it frightening to hear.

The last one gives me shivers one I sleep and when I play on my nonexistent gamecube
There was this one glitch that creeped me out so much that I was shaking. I was playing Mario Bros. Wii in the basement of their house with my friends at a Christmas party (at the time I was about 8) and I was in world 5, the jungle. If you don’t know, there’s a background track of forest creeks, chirps and sounds like that behind the music. The disc was a little scratched but we thought it would still work, and it did, until we got to world 5. About half way through the level, the music stopped and it was just the creepy forest noises. When we beat the level and the screen faded to black, it gave us the first error of this RUclips short. For the longest time I thought that their copy of the game was haunted or something, but it was just a scratched disk error! 😅
These are scarier in the middle of the night when you’re supposed to be asleep on a school night

The blue screen Wii one can only be gotten if you mess with the files of a game or if modified. Error 001 means that the system is modified and error 003 is when you use the Korean version of the wii. Error 004 is when the console is corrupted.
The scariest error is an error that tells you that your save data is corrupt especially if u haven't backed it up
The Wii had that and would only appear if you Modded the console in the wrong way.

The system files are corrupted.

For me the scariest one is on the wii when the music kinda crashes and the game freezes while a single part of a song repeats itself over and over just to end with the black error screen
I used to play just dance on my wii and always dimmed the lights when I was alone for it to feel atmospheric and like a party. This screen scared me so much 😭
I got this one error on some of my wii games where the whole game freezes and just makes an EXTREMELY and i mean EXTREMELY loud buzzing sound it is more terrifying on the wii..

The one of the game buzzing is by far the scariest it happened to me so many times on the Wii U when I was playing the Lego movie video game and for some reason it’s always that game and when the buzzing does happen it’s always when I’m playing in the dark and the fact that you have to hold down the power button to fully shut it off is more spine tingling
I know the buzzing was annoying when I played legacy Minecraft on the Wii U I’d be like a hour in and now have to re power my system again
That error buzzing sound only occurred with the Wii U for me and it always would scare the crap out of me
I always got the first two at once playing Lego Batman on the Wii. It was in scarecrows boss fight so I thought he used fear gas and possessed the tv, scared the heck out of my 7 yr old self.
The piano can play in the middle of gameboy games which makes it even more scarier
The buzzing one terrified me when it happened to me but I think it was because my Switch overheated
I've never heard the buzzing sound on the Nintendo Switch despite owning one for 4 years, but I've heard it on the Wii U many times, especially on Just Dance 2017. No other games crashed nearly as common as that game.
The buzzing sound actually happened to me once, when I was playing Disney infinity on my WiiU

Ah, the unpleasant buzz. Used to not only happen on my Wii, Wii U, Switch, and Nintendo 3DS, but would also happen when I was playing a game on my phone. It was awful. But the dark piano on the game cube.. that... that was terrifying.
The second one happened to be on my Wii u when I was playing like a marvel superheroes fighting Galactus
I would probably start crying if I got any of these.
Actually I used to be really scared of the SpongeBob credits as a child (and any errors) because they made me feel like I did something wrong
The buzzing in a game only occurs when the part of the disk the Wii is trying to load has a scratch or damage on it.

I have an old scribblenauts game that I play on the Wii U. The first sound, second clip, would almost always happen if we played it. We would here the 'eeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrnnnnnnn,' the screen would freeze, nothing would work, and the only option was to turn off the Wii U. At first it was scary, but then it was just annoying/frustrating because it happened so often.

The buzzer one also played during Wii errors. An error screen wouldn’t pop up, but the game would sit there, frozen. I would always be reaching to unplug that bad boy when the buzzer sound happened.
Thank God he included the wii one that literally scares the living shi out of me to this day

That loud buzzing one was intended at a point in Super Paper Mario afaik. That one spider girl had a room where you had to go 3d, everytime I talked to her I got the loud buzz.

The buzzing one plus the black/blue screen Were Scary (especially the buzzing one) But i didnt get scared at all by the gameplayer error
There’s actually two game boy errors one if you don’t have the player setup. Or if you take the game pack off in the middle of the game
We have to agree that the buzz sound, the GameCube error and the PS2 error screen makes stomachs crumble from fear

The switch has a really scary one. There is a hardware fault which makes the switch unresponsive and blares an extremely high pitched noise out theough the speakers. It can happen at any given time and whenever you turn it on it would just boot up to the loud noises.
Fyi: the noise made is not the same volume as to if you have max volume and watch a video. Its WAY louder and you cannot even switch it off as the buttons become unresponsive (no hard reboot)

The Buzzing noises on the Switch Happened When The Switch Launched or Released on that same year. Big Scary Stuff, Also Wasted people's money.

I remember one time back in 2012-2013ish I was playing Cars 2 on my sisters Wii. When I was doing a hunter mission and I beat it and I was about to hit a mine when all of a sudden before I hit it, the game crashed and I heard that second sound. I came crying to my sister about the sound because it was too loud and scary

The xbox has a similar buzzing sound when games crash at times. But instead its a lower pitch and has a more methodical almost beep.
I have actually gotten a buzzing error noise while playing Epic Micky 2 with my brother
If the nimtendo won't stop itself after a crash, the screen will glitch a lot and the buzz will change every 1.5 seconds
I HATED that sound when it always happened on my Wii! I always remember it. It was whenever I tried to play Episode VI of Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga. I could never play and it always made that horrible sound
That first one happened to me yesterday when i was trying to play rayman raving rabbids 2
